The purpose of this paper is to summarize and share the field experiment results of KEPCO's project consortium to create a TSO-DSO-DERA interaction scheme. The field experiment was conducted based on the prequalification algorithm proposed in the previous research from the same consortium and was designed to verify the validity of the algorithm under realistic grid conditions. In addition, during the course of the field experiment, it was found that points that were missed or not given much importance in the existing prequalification algorithm could affect the completeness of the overall system, and then practical improvements were made to improve it. The demonstration results confirm that the proposed algorithm is effective in real-world grid environments and can help DSOs ensure the reliability of the distribution system while supporting DERA's participation in the wholesale market using the proposed prequalification scheme.

In accordance with climate change and renewable energy supply policies, power generation using fossil fuels is gradually decreasing, and renewable energy generation that replaces them is increasing. From the consumer’s point of view, self-generation and consumption using solar panels are increasing. Therefore, in this paper, we develop a P2P energy trading platform that allows individuals to directly trade surplus electricity through self-generation, and propose a methodology for energy prosumer to efficiently trade electricity using a business model. In addition, the economic analysis of the business model was analyzed by comparing the electricity rates of prosumer and general consumers using this platform.
경쟁력 전력시장에서 Contingent Transmission Rights을 이용한 지역적 시장지배력 감시방안

경쟁적 전력시장에서, 송전혼잡은 지역적 시장지배력의 핵심 요인들 중 하나이다. 재무적 송전권을 구매한 시장 참여자는 그들이 지불한 혼잡 세를 돌려받음으로써 재무적 보호를 받을 수 있다. 하지만 많은 연구에서, 이러한 송전권이 오히려 시장지배력을 강화시킴을 보였다. 따라서 본 논문은 새로운 개념의 송전권인 Contingent Transmission Rights을 이용해 지역적 시장지배력을 완화시키는 것이 목적이다. 본 논문은 각 모선의 한계가격(Locational Marginal Pricing : LMP)을 기반으로 한 모선별 가격제도(Nodal Pricing)와 최적조류계산(Optimal Power Flow)를 이용해 사례연구를 수행하였다.

So it is supposed to reduce greenhouse gases around the developed nations of the world at times go. This issue is especially for the power industry. Under this background, MicroGrid system that consists of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) system, such as natural power system (wind, solar) and fuel-cell, co-generation, also known as CHP (Combined heat and power), has been developed greatly during the last 10 years. This paper adopts optimal model using GAMS to develop methods for conducting an integrated assessment of MicroGrid system.

The microgrid concept assumes a cluster of loads and microsources operating as a single controllable system that provides a new paradigm for defining the operation of distributed generation. This system can be operated as both grid-connected mode and islanded mode. In other words, the microgrid can be operated to meet their special need; such as economics in steady state and local reliability in islanded mode due to the grid fault. This paper presents the AGC (Automatic Generation Control) method for microgrid with EMS (Energy Management System).

Transmission congestion is one of the key factors to local market power in competitive electricity markets. Financial transmission rights provide the financial protection to their holders by paying back the congestion rent. A variety researches have shown that the existing trading mechanisms on transmission right can exacerbate market power. This paper proposes an alternative methodology in mitigating the local market power using the Contingent Transmission Rights on the locational marginal pricing scheme. The proposed methodology was demonstrated with the Optimal Power Flow.
