The High Reflectance of Metallo-Dielectric One-Dimensional Photonic Band-Gap Structures

We present a new design for multilayer reflectors and investigate metallo-dielectric onedimensional photonic band-gap structures. Our metallo-dielectric reflector is constructed by stacking consecutive layers of a high-index dielectric material, a low-index dielectric material, and a metal (HLM structure). Optimizing the thicknesses of the layers with a periodic HLM structure produces high reflectance, while using very few layers composed of approximately four skin depths of the metal. Alternatively, optimizing the thicknesses of the layers with a non-periodic HLM structure results in a mirror with an even higher reflective.
Laser Process Proximity Correction for Improvement of Critical Dimension Linearity on a Photomask

We report on the improvement of critical dimension (CD) linearity on a photomask by applying the concept of process proximity correction to a laser lithographic process used for the fabrication of photomasks. Rulebased laser process proximity correction (LPC) was performed using an automated optical proximity correction tool and we obtained dramatic improvement of CD linearity on a photomask. A study on model-based LPC was executed using a two-Gaussian kernel function and we extracted model parameters for the laser lithographic process by fitting the model-predicted CD linearity data with measured ones. Model-predicted bias values of isolated space (I/S), arrayed contact (A/C) and isolated contact (I/C) were in good agreement with those obtained by the nonlinear curve-fitting method used for the rule-based LPC.
평면 반일체 고리형 공진기를 이용한 Nd:YAG 레이저의 단방향 단일 모드 발진

다이오드 레이저 펌핑 Nd:YAG 레이저를 평면 반일체 고리형 공진기를 이용하여 1064 nm 파장에서 단방향, 단일 모드로 발진시켰다. 실험에 사용된 반일체 고리형 공진기는 자기장 내에 놓여진 Nd:YAG 레이저 활성매질, 결정 석영판, 출력경으로 구성되어 전체적으로 광 다이오드로서 작용한다. 이에 대한 고유편광 이론 연구가 수행되었으며, 고유편광 모드에 대한 광손실이 계산되었다. 1.2 W, 809 nm 다이오드 레이저로 펌핑하여 155 mW의 단일 모드 출력을 얻었으며, 이때의 기울기 효율은 17%이었다. 동일한 두 레이저 시스템이 제작되었는데, 그 출력들의 맥놀이 주파수 스펙트럼으로부터 100 kHz 이하의 레이저 선폭을 갖는 것으로 측정되었고, 2 GHz 이상의 영역에서 연속적인 주파수 튜닝이 관측되었다. Unidirectional single-mode operation of a diode-pumped Nd:YAG laser with a planar semimonolithic ring cavity has been demostrated at 1064 nm. The semimonolithic cavity consists of a laser active medium placed in a magnetic field, a crystal quartz plate, and an output coupling mirror. They form an optical diode by acting each part as a Faraday rotator, a reciprocal polarization rotator and a partial polarizer, respectively. An eigenpolarization theory for the cavity configuration was presented and losses for the eigenmodes were calculated. A pump-limited single-mode output power of 155 mW and a slope efficiency of 17% were obtained when the laser was pumped by a 1.2 W, 809 nm diode-laser. A laser linewidth of less than 100 kHz is inferred from a beat note frequency spectrum between two identical laser systems and continous single-mode tuning range was more than 2 GHz.
Analysis of a Laser Direct Writer with an Acousto-optic Modulator Employed for Dose Gray-scaling

We have studied a laser direct writing system for the fabrication of gray-scale diffractive optic elements in terms of its system characteristic curve that can be understood as a composite function of a characteristic curve for an acousto-optic modulator employed for dose gray-scaling and that for a photoresist used for continuous profile formation. A mathematical analysis method was developed and applied to retrieve the two constituent characteristic curves for the acousto-optic modulator and the photoresist from the system characteristic curves. The validity of the results was confirmed through comparison with direct measurements.

Nowadays, the complexity and dynamics of organizations, and the growth in networked information resources require automated negotiation to support flexible and fast online negotiation. Many researchers have studies automation, which mainly used to solve conflicts in distribution of tasks and resources between agents in multi-system. There are many methods to support automated negotiations. But, it's very complex and has many hypotheses which are not easy to satisfied in practice. So we may adopt adding argument method which has five type of attribute. Aim of the paper is to describe through a simple example a general methodology for adding arguments to explain flexible and fast online negotiation.

Analytical and experimental study were carried out in order to achieve simultaneous coating and injection molding of an automotive armrest. A mold was designed to be included one core and two cavities, which were composed of a substrate cavity and a coating cavity. The materials used were PC/ABS for substrate and 2-component Polyurethane for coating. The predicted flow patterns were in good agreement with experimental results in injection molding and in-mold coating. Based on analysis and experiment, it was found that the optimal processing conditions were packing pressure of 90MPa and holding time of 7sec.
