        This study is, as a study of military theory, a review of the essence of the strategy and its characteristics. The background of this study, as one of the key themes of military science, there are many studies on essence and characteristics of the war. However, research on the essence and characteristics of the strategy is relatively small. Because of this reason, there are many difficulties in the studying and understanding of the strategy. But war and strategy is completely different. The purpose of this study is to investigate the essence and characteristics of the strategy to contribute to the development of research strategies. The results were as follows. The essence of strategy is, based on the plot and deception, the dynamic and resourceful struggle between the actors as opposed. Also characteristics of the strategy were confrontation, resourceful and creativity counsel, the theory and practice of duality, technology oriented, politics, and geopolitics, connecting with other level of strategies and other nation``s functions and more. If there is a military officials in-depth understanding of the nature and characteristics of such a strategy, he will be more creative in the theoretical study and practical strategies. And it will boost the chances of winning the war over the integrity of the further strategy.

        한국의 해양안보와 국가경제

        대한민국은 국가경제의 기반을 '해운을 통한 무역'에 두고 있는 '해양국가'이다. 한 나라의 국가경제의 특성을 나타내는 경제지표인 '무역의존도'를 보면 이를 쉽게 알 수 있는데, 세계 은행(IBRD)의 자료의 2008년도 한국의 무역의존도는 83.5%로 일본 28.8%의 약 3배, 중국 68%에 비해서도 현저하게 높은 세계 최고수준이다. 이는 한국의 국가발전 나아가 안보가 무역의 기반이 되는 해양의 안전에 크게 의존하고 있다는 의미로 해석할 수 있다. 반면 최근 소말리아 해적피해와 같은 사례에서 보듯이 한국의 해양안보의 위협이 확대되고 있어 이에 대한 관심과 대책이 절실한 실정이다. 따라서 한국은 해양안보에도 각별한 관심을 가져야 한다. 특히 해양안보위협을 북한의 군사적 위협과 유사한 위협으로 간주하여 전 국민적 관심을 제고하고, 분산된 해양안보관련 기능을 유기적으로 통합할 수 있는 기구를 설치하여야 하며 국제적인 해양안보활동에도 적극 참여하여 국가의 해양안보를 확고히 보장함으로써 한국의 지속적인 번영을 도모하여야 한다. The Republic of Korea is the maritime country of which its infrastructure of the country's development is based on maritime trade. This can be easily understood according to degree of dependence upon foreign trade, which is the economic indicator for expressing one country's economic characteristics. In 2008, the degree of dependence upon foreign trade of Korea is 83.5%, and this figure is much higher than that of Japan and China, which is 28.8% and 68% respectively. This in turn means that the development of Korea, and also the security of Korea depends greatly on safety of the sea. On the other hand, there is a growing trend that threats to the maritime security of Korea increases as examples seen in Somalia pirates. Thus we could say that interest on this issue should increase and also measures to counter those threats should be prepared. Also Korea should take the maritime security as important as critical factors as national security, which is similar to military threats from North Korea. Therefore all citizen's interests on the issue should be raised, and organizations that are capable of mutually integrating the functions related to maritime security should be established. Finally, Korea should actively participate international efforts on maritime security, and secure maritime security of our nation therefore contribute to the nation's prosperity and future development.

        배양된 정상 갑상선세포에서 LECTIN 에 의한 HLA - DR 항원 발현에 관한 연구

        N/A Although it has been suggested that HLA-DR Ag expression in thyrocytes by nonspecific immune stimuli such as lectin may play an important pathogenetic role in autoimmune thyroid diseases, its precise mechanism has not been established. The purpose of this study is to investigate a part of the mechanism and features of lectin-induced expression of HLA-DR antigenicity in cultured normal thyrocytes. By an indirect immunofluorescence method using monoclonal anti-HLA-DR Ab, this study was performed to assess the effects of various lectins, as well as the effects of culture duration, cyclosporine, prostaglandin E₂, and gamma-interferon on HLA-DR Ag expression in cultured normal thyrocytes, and also to compare cytoplasmic and surface expression of HLA-DR Ag. The results were summarized as follows: 1) In 5 separate experiments with normal thyrocytes cultured with 10 mg/ml leucoagglutinin, HLA-DR Ag was detected on the 2nd day of culture. The expression rate increased to a maximum on the 7th to 9th day of culture and decreased thereafter. 2) The positivity of HLA-DR Ag expression by T-cell specific mitogenic lectins was 60% in the cultured cells with 2 mg/ml phytohemagglutinin, 60% in those with 10 mg/ml concanavalin A, and 50% in those with 10 mg/ml leucoagglutinin on the 7th day of culture, There were no significant changes of HLA-DR Ag expression in higher concentrations. HLA-DR Ag was expressed in 40% of cultured thyrocytes with 100 mg/ml pokeweed mitogen but HLA- DR Ag expression was not induced by lipopolysaccharide, which is not a T-cell mitogenic lectin. 3) Leucoagglutinin-induced expression of HLA-DR Ag was reduced by cyclosporine which suppresses secretion of lymphokines from T-lymphocyte, but not by prostaglandin E₂, which suppresses HLA-DR Ag expression in macrophages. 4) Gamma-interferon-induced expression of HLA-DR Ag was not reduced by cyclosporine. 5) HLA-DR Ag expression was not induced by hormones such as TSH, insulin and hydrocortisone. 6) In normal thyrocytes cultured with concanavalin A or leucoagglutinin, the HLA-DR Ag expression rates in the cytoplasm and cell surface were nearly similar. These results, that HLA-DR Ag expression was induced by T-cell mitogenic lectin but suppressed by cyclosporine (inhibitor of gamma-interferon synthesis in T-lymphocyte) and that the expression rates in the cytoplasm and cell surface were nearly similar suggest that the T-lymphocyte is involved in lectin-induced expression of I-ILA-DR Ag in cultured normal thyrocytes and that HLA-DR Ag is produced in the cytoplasm of thyrocytes.

        동아시아 해양안보협력 발전방안

        오늘날 해양은 세계경제를 견인하는 무역의 통로일 뿐만 아니라, 국가를 부강하게 하는 각종 자원의 보고이기도 하다. 최신과학기술의 발전으로 인류의 활동역시 육지에서 해양으로 점점 확대되고 있다. 근래 동아시아 국가들 역시 이러한 해양의 가치를 인식하고 해양에서의 자국의 권익을 경쟁적으로 추구하고 있다. 이로 인해 아시아 해역에 국가 간 분쟁이 고조되고 있다. 반면에 이러한 해양안보문제를 해결할 국제 안보조직이나 수단은 해결해야할 문제의 크기나 복잡성에 비해 대단히 부족하다. 이를 해결하기 위해서는 아시아 국가들이 냉정하게 현실을 직시하고 지혜를 모아 역내 해양안보문제의 범위와 의제들을 재점검해야 한다. 또한 그동안 시행되었던 제반 안보협력의 과정이나 결과도 재평가하여 현재의 해양안보문제를 효율적으로 관리하고 해결해 나가야 한다. 만약 우리가 이러한 문제들을 성공적으로 해결해 낸다면, 현재와 같이 불안한 아시아의 바다는 '평화와 번영의 바다'로 변화될 것이다. Today the ocean is a treasure trove of the resources that prosperous country and the passage of the trade to lead the world economy. Due to the development of the latest science and technology, human activities are increasingly expanding into the ocean from land. Modern east Asian countries have also recognized the value of the ocean and competitively pursue their own interests at sea. For this reason, the conflict between the East Asian countries is rising. On the other hand, the means of International organizations and maritime security to resolve these issues are very limited. In order to solve this problem, we should reexamine the scope and agenda of the maritime security issues, and re-evaluate the process and results of the various security cooperation which have been implemented. If we solve these problems successfully, the troubled Asian waters will be changed to 'sea of peace and prosperity'.

      • 청주지역 아파트 단지내 외부공간 구성요소의 분석

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the behavior, recognition and satisfaction of the residents that is in the present condition of the exterior space in apartments where the residents live in Bun-pyung area of Cheongju. It is analyzed about the present components of the exterior space as the object as to three apartment complexes, having characters of linear type, distributive type and concentrated type classified by how to consist of spacial elements. As a result of that, It is investigated that the most important things are playgrounds, parks and green lands. The distributive type is the most dangerous concerning safety to pass in a apartment complexes, the linear type is the most satisfying concerning pavements, playgrounds and parks. The residents tended to recognize strongly centering around building that residents live, passage to be used usually in apartment complexes and exterior space. It was investigated that those people who lived in apartment complexes recognized playgrounds, parks, shops, gate guard post as the order.

      • pH-meter 개발을 위한 ISFET와 기준전극의 제작 및 그 동작특성

        Ag/AgCI reference electrode, by annodic plating, with KCl or NaCl solution as inner solution and ISFET (Ion Sensitive Field Effect Transistor) are fabricated and measured their operational characteristics in order to develope pH-meter using ISFET. The fabricated ISFET and reference electrode have a good pH sensitivity, 53mV/pH, and the sensitiveity showed an excellent linearity in the range of pH 2 to pH 12. The temperature dependence of pH-meter using ISFET is measured In the range of 0°C to 70°C, and it' s result is used for temperature compensation sequence in the pH-meter signal processing system. We certify that ISFET device can used for pH measurement system that need to fast measure continously varing pH values.

      • ISFET pH-meter의 신호처리 시스템의 개발

        In this paper, pH-meter signal processing system using ISFET(Ion Sensitive Field Effect Transistor), based on single chip MCU(Micro Controller Unit), is designed and fabricated. The reliability and operational characteristics of this system was measured, compared with conventional pH-meter using ISE(Ion Slective Electrode). The method of temperature compensation that this system adapt is to process output of temperature sensor(AD590). The pH-meter with ISFET have good sensitivity, about 53 mV/pH, and showed excellent linearity in the range of pH 2 to pH 12. We certified that this system can used for pH mesurement system using ISFET as pH sensor.
