      • 원형실린더 후류내의 가동형 와류분할판에 의한 항력 감소효과

        본 연구에서는 가동형 분할판을 실린더 후단부로 부터 일정간격 이격시켜 설 치하여, 실린더 바로 후방의 압력에 의한 불안정한 모멘트가 분할판에 직접 작용하지 않도록 하되 와동의 상호 작용은 계속 억제할 수 있도록 설계된 가동형 분할판을 이용 하여 이의 항력 저감효과를 풍동실험을 통하여 조사하였다. The drag reduction effect of a freely-rotatable splitter plate was experimentally investigated in the 2-D wake behind a circular cylinder. By arranging the splitter plate to be aparted with a certain gap from the cylinder, the splitter plate was able to be aligned itself automatically to the flow direction in the tested range of 6.2$\times$$10^3$<Re<2.1$\times$$10^4$. As a result, it was proven that the self-adjustable splitter plate always reduced effectively the drag imposed on the body against any arbitrary flow directions. In a specific range of Reynolds numbers, the drag reduction effect was dependent not only on the length of the splitter plate but also on the gap distance between the plate and the trailing edge of the body. For a splitter plate with a specific length, there existed a unique optimum range of gap distance to obtain successfully the drag reduction effect, however, the optimum range of gap distance was dependent on Reynolds number.

        자유흐름 속도의 이동면과 맞닿은 회전실린더 주위 유동장의 실험적 해석

        The flowfield generated by a 2-D rotating cylinder on a plane moving at freestream velocity was experimentally investigated in a wind tunnel to simulate aerodynamic characteristics of rotating wheels of an automobile. In the flowfield around a rotating cylinder at 3*10$^{3}$ < Re$_{d}$<8*10$^{3}$, unique mean flow and turbulence characteristics were confirmed by hot-wire measurements as well as frequency analysis, which was supported by flow visualization. In the vicinity of a rotating cylinder, a unique turbulence structure on .root.over bar u'$^{2}$ profiles was formed in hump-like shape at 1 < y/d < 3. A peak frequency which characterized the effect of a rotating cylinder had the same value of the rotation rate of a cylinder. In case of cylinder rotation, the depths of mean velocity -defect and turbulent-shear regions were thickened by 20-40% at 0 < x/d < 10 compared with the case of cylinder stationary. Far downstream beyond x/d > 10, the flowfield generated by a rotating cylinder showed self-similarity in the profiles of mean velocity and turbulence quantities. The effect of a rotating cylinder was independent of its rotation rate and Reynolds number in the measurement range.

        The flow field generated by a 2-D rotating cylinder on a fixed ground plane was analytically investigated by use of potential flow theory and the Kutta-Joukowski lift theorem to simulate aerodynamic characteristics of rotating wheels of an automobile. In the flowfield around a rotating cylinder on the wall, unique flow patterns are identified; the stream lines are asymmetrical about the horizontal axis of the cylinder center regardless of rotation rate. As the rotation rate increases, the lift force of the cylinder on the wall increases quadratically.

        The flowfield generated by a rotating cylinder on a plane moving at velocity one thirds faster than freestream was experimentally studied in a wind tunnel to simulate aerodynamic characteristics of rotating wheels of a road vehicle running leeward. In the flowfield around a rotating cylinder at Ub=U∞×1.34 and at Re?=4.2×?, unique mean flow and turbulence characteristics were confirmed by hot-wire measurements and frequency analysis. In the vicinity of a rotating cylinder, a unique turbulence structure on ? profiles was formed in hump-like shape due to the rotation effect, which was more prominent at leeward condition than at quiescent ambient flow condition. An air-pocket was confirmed at the front ground of the rotating cylinder at leeward condition. A peak frequency which characterized the effect of a rotating cylinder had the same value of te rotation rate of a cylinder. Far downstream beyond x/d>10, the flowfield generated by a rotating cylinder showed self-similarity in the profiles of mean velocity and turbulence quantities regardless of ambient flow conditions.

        This paper is aimed at translating the whole of Poetic Tale on Going Pilgrimage for Buddhist Scripture of Tang Sanzang (大唐三藏取經詩話, here after Poetic Tale). This is a famous Vernacular novel during the Song Dynasty of China, but its creation time and processes are still unclear. Although the theory for the creation of the Song Dynasty are generally required, there are also theory for the creation of the Tang dynasty and the creation of the Won Dynasty. It is claimed to have a literary aspect similar to that of Bianwen. And from a linguistic point of view, there are all aspects of the language of the Tang dynasty, the Song Dynasty and the Won Dynasty. In short, the book has complex and transitional properties. For this reason, Poetic Tale has a very important literary and linguistic value. Research into this book can reveal the process of changing literary genres from Bianwen to pictorial novels. Studies of the book can also reveal changes in language during the Tang, Song and Won Dynasties. In particular, since the study of this book is incomplete in Korea, we expect this translation to be of great help to the study of this book in Korea. In addition, this translation is expected to help a lot in the study of A Journey to the West (西遊記) in the Chinese literary academic world of Korea.

        A CCD(Charged Coupled Device) based image processing system was newly developed for performing effective flow visualization experiments by utilizing the IMAQ Vision Builder. As a result, instead of a manual system based on analog camera, flow visualization experiments can be carried out on an on-line operating system and thus much time and effort required in analyzing fluid flow field can be successfully reduced.

        Flow-visualization experiments were conducted in a wind tunnel for the flowfields around body models of a racing car to investigate the aerodynamic characteristics of the selected body models with unique design. As a result, some components with blunt edges attached to the streamlined main body of a racing car such as an engine air-intake and a refrigerator air-intake were the major factors of deteriorating the aerodynamic characteristics of a racing car. The result of flow visualizations with smoke-wire technique can be utilized for the preliminary car styling of improve the performance of a racing car.

        ≪釋迦如來十地修行記≫의 譯註(2)

        This work is a translation and annotation of Seokgayeoraesipjisuhaenggi(釋迦如來十地修行記). Seokgayeoraesipjisuhaenggi is a collection of Buddhist novels first written by a man named Sosilsanin(少室山人) in 1382. It is about Śakyamuni(釋迦牟尼)’s past life and life story. First, we compiled the main story of each bhūmi(地) and described other literary works that are highly relevant in story. Next, we translated <The third bhūmi(第三地)>, <The fourth bhūmi(第四地)>, <The fifth bhūmi(第五地)>, <The sixth bhūmi(第六地)> and added many informative annotations. <The third bhūmi(第三地)> is the story of king Dana[Surupa](布施國王[妙色王]), <The fourth bhūmi(第四地)> is the story of crown prince Mahāsattva-kumāra-rāja(摩訶薩埵太子), <The fifth bhūmi(第五地)> is the story of monk Kṣāntivādin ṛṣi(忍辱仙人), <The sixth bhūmi(第六地)> is the story of crown prince kalyāṇamitra(善友太子). It has important significance to study the history of Chinese literature and Chinese language, in that it was an early form of Bianwen(變文) written in early modern Chinese.
