This study conducted a research on design applications that had utilized interference colors by applying interference colors of rocks and minerals found in the textbook for high school students to various forms of designs of and on their possibilities. A close observation of foils 0.03mm thick that has been grated to slices through a polarizing microscope shows an array of beautiful colors in various forms. The study examined the way such diverse and gorgeous colors convey the kind of emotions to people. Our findings confirmed correlations existing in preferences by gender, age groups and activity statuses depending on the kind of interference colors of rocks and minerals. The group of females aged 40s - 50s in particular showed a high level of preferences for interference colors. Preferences rose higher in such a situation as active traveling rather than such a static state as reading. Possibilities of applying interference colors of rocks and minerals to fashion design were also examined. Our findings confirmed that relatively small-sized clothing items such as neckties, handkerchiefs, scarfs and T-shirts are highly applicable as designs. Possibilities of interference colors of rocks and minerals to industrial design were examined. Our findings confirmed possibilities of interference colors of minerals and rocks being applied to patterns of wallpaper, cell phones and I-pad cases and tiles. Studies on interference colors in diverse forms are expected to find applications to science and design, STEAM educational materials where science, design and art have been fused on the spot at school.

An optical lens is usually produced in the manner of high temperature compression molding with tungsten carbide alloy molding cores, it is necessary to develop and study technology for super-precision processing of molding cores and coating the core surface. As main methods used in surface improvement technologies using thin film, DLC present high hardness, chemical stability, and outstanding durability of abrasion to be extensively applied in various industrial fields. In this study, the effect of DLC coating of a thin film by means of the FVAS (filtered vacuum arc source) analyzed the characteristics of thin film. Surface roughness before and after DLC coating was measured and the result showed that the surface roughness was improved after coating as compared to before coating. In conclusion, it was observed that DLC coating of the ultra hard alloy core surface for molding had an effect on improving the surface roughness and shape of the core surface. It is considered that this will have an effect on improving abrasion resistance and the service life of the core surface.
전극에 따른 CuPc Field-effect Transistor의 전기적 특성

Organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) are of interest for use in widely area electronic applications. We fabricated a copper phthalocyanine (CuPc) based field-effect transistor with different metal electrode. The CuPc FET device was made a top-contact type and the substrate temperature was room temperature. The source and drain electrodes were used an Au and Al materials. The CuPc thickness was 40 nm, and the channel length was $50{\mu}m$, channel width was 3 mm. We observed a typical current-voltage (I-V) characteristics in CuPc FET with different electrode materials.
i-beam 스퍼터링 법으로 제작한 BiSrCaCuO 박막의 열역학분석

다양한 기판 온도와 산화 가스 압력 하에서 i-beam 스퍼터링 법으로 BiSrCaCuO 박막을 제작하였다. 기판온도 $T_{sub}$와 산화 가스 압력 $pO_3$를 변화시키며 제작된 Bi2212 및 Bi2223 박막의 생성상도를 작성하였다. Bi2212 조성으로 스퍼터링 하였으나 Bi2212 상 뿐 아니라 Bi2201 상과 Bi2223 상이 모두 생성되었고, Bi2212나 Bi2223 단상은 매우 좁은 온도 영역에서만 형성되었다. 생성 엔탈피의 변화 ${\Delta}{\bar}HO_2$와 생성 엔트로피의 변화 ${\Delta}{\bar}SO_2$에 대한 열역학적인 계산을 통해 Bi2212 단상이 형성된 경우 각각 -260 kJ/mol 및 $-225J/mol{\cdot}K$의 값을 얻었다. High duality BiSrCaCuO thin films fabricated by using the i-beam sputtering method at various substrate temperatures, $T_{sub}$ and oxidation gas pressures, $pO_3$. The correlation diagrams of the BiSrCaCuO phases with Tsub and $pO_3$ are established in the 2212 and 2223 compositional films. In spite of 2212 compositional sputtering, Bi2201 and Bi2223 as well as Bi2212 phases come out as stable phases depending on $T_{sub}$ and $pO_3$. From these results, the thermodynamic evaluation of ${\Delta}H$ and${\Delta}S$, which are related with Gibbs' free energy change for single Bi2212 or Bi2223 phase, was performed.
InGaAlP 레이저다이오드를 적용한 Rat의 착상 치유에서 면역조직화학적 연구

The apparatus has been fabricated using the laser diode and microprocessor unit. The apparatus used a InGaAlP laser diode for laser medical therapy and was designed for a pulse width modulation type to increase stimulation effects. To raise the stimulus effect of the human body, the optical irradiation frequency could be set up. The study has executed in-vivo experiment by employing our own developed laser diode irradiation system to investigate the effects of the InGaAlP laser diode irradiation on the wound healing as a preliminary study aimed at the application of InGaAlP laser diode to wound healing of human skin injury. The study cut out whole skin layers of Sprague-Dawley rat on the back part in 1 cm circle and observed developing effects after executing light irradiation for 9 days, and in result it is found that the light irradiation rat showed earlier wound healing than non-irradiation rat during the experimental period. In addition, there are some differences found regarding the healing process between laser diode irradiated rats and non-irradiated ones.
