유탄성 해석데이터 처리를 통한 초대형 해상구조물의 가상 목업 가시화 기술 개발

본 연구에서는 초대형 부유식 해상 구조물(Very Large Floating Structure) 및 상부 구조물의 동적 거동을 실시간 그래픽환경에서 가상 목업을 이용해 가시화하였다. 구조물 자체의 탄성 변형이 고려된 유탄성 응답해석 결과 데이터를 분석하고, 이를 실시간 가시화 시스템에 적용하기 위한 데이터 처리 방법을 소개하였으며, 3 차원 환경에서의 VLFS 및 해양파 가시화 결과와, VLFS 및 상부구조물 거동의 연동 결과를 소개하였다.

KIMM(Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials ) and Hyundai ROTEM have been leading development of the low to medium speed urban transit maglev for the past 20 years. The result of this long term national project is UTM-01 ( Urban Transit Maglev -01 ) in 1998 and UTM-02 in 2006 and the 6.1 km long double track maglev commercialization project in Inchon international airport from 2006 to 2012. In this paper the status of the maglev development in Korea is reported. Design changes from UTM-01 system to that of commercialization project and risk management activity are described.
실시간 가시화 기술을 이용한 자기부상열차 품평 시스템의 개발 및 활용

Korea’s Urban Maglev Program is on the final stage of project which develops maglev transit system around Incheon International Airport in 2013. Because this project aims new railroad system, various requirements related to preliminary inspections in maglev system were raised steadily. In this study, a maglev design review system was developed using digital mock-up and simulation technology. We used open-source graphics engine to support rapid response to user requirements. Finally this system was used to position the path of demonstration line, select vehicle design and color, examine the station design and perform other evaluations related to harmony with the city environment. Also the VR simulator was developed to provide virtual riding experience in the maglev.

An experience based training system concerning various fire situations which may result many casualties has been required to make rapid decision and improve the responsiveness. Recently, the necessity of virtual reality (VR) based t raining system which can replace a dangerous full-scale fire training and be easily adopted to the training or evaluation process is increasing. This study constructed the virtual environment according to pre-defined scenarios, utilized the FDS(Fire Dynamics Simulator), three dimensional computational fire analysis program, to derive numerically simulated data on the propagation of fire. Finally, by visualizing the realistic fire and smoke behavior through virtual reality technique and implementing real-time interaction, we developed a VR-based fire training simulator. Also, in order to ensure the sense for the real of a virtual world and real-time performance at the same time, we proposed appropriate data processing and space search algorithms, demonstrated the value of proposed method through experiments.
