        A 8192-Point FFT Processor Based on the CORDIC Algorithm for OFDM System

        This paper presents the architecture and the implementation of a 2K/4K/8K-point complex Fast Fourier Transform(FFT) processor for Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system. The architecture is based on the Cooley-Tukey algorithm for decomposing the long DFT into short length multi-dimensional DFTs. The transposition memory, shuffle memory, and memory mergence method are used for the efficient manipulation of data for multi-dimensional transforms. Booth algorithm and the COordinate Rotation DIgital Computer(CORDIC) processor are employed for the twiddle factor multiplications in each dimension. Also, for the CORDIC processor, a new twiddle factor generation method is proposed to obviate the ROM required for storing the twiddle factors. The overall 2K/4K/8K-FFT processor requires 600,000 gates, and it is implemented in 1.8 V, 0.18 ${\mu}m$ CMOS. The processor can perform 8K-point FFT in every 273 ${\mu}s$, 2K-point every 68.26 ${\mu}s$ at 30MHz, and the SNR is over 48dB, which are enough performances for the OFDM in DVB-T. 본 논문에서 OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing) 시스템용 2K/4K/8K-point 복소 FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) 프로세서의 구조와 그 구현방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 프로세서의 구조는 긴 길이의 DFT를 짧은 길이의 다차원 DFT로 분할하기 위하여 쿨리-투키 알고리듬에 기반 한다. 전치 메모리, 셔플 메모리, 메모리 합성 방법은 다차원 변환을 위한 메모리의 능률적 조작을 위해 사용한다. Booth 알고리듬과 CORDIC (COordinate Rotation DIgital Computer) 프로세서는 각 차원에서 트위들 팩터 곱셈을 위해 사용한다. 또한, CORDIC 프로세서에는 트위들 팩터를 저장하기 위해 필요한 ROM의 사용을 막기 위해 트위들 팩터 발생 방법을 제안한다. 전체 2K/4K/8K FFT 프로세서는 600,000 게이트를 사용하며, 1.8V, 0.18${\mu}m$ CMOS를 이용해 구현한다. 제안하는 프로세서는 8K-point FFT를 273${\mu}s$마다, 2K-point를 68.26${\mu}s$마다 수행할 수 있으며, SNR은 DVB-T의 OFDM을 위해 충분한 48dB를 넘는다.

        고농도 질산용액에서 Ag(I) 이온의 확산계수 측정

        유해성 유기물을 효과적으로 분해시키는데 이용되는 Ag(II)이온에 의한 전기화학적 매개산화 공정의 한계전류밀도를 예측하기 위하여 질산전해질의 농도, Ag(I) 이온의 농도 및 온도변화에 따른 Ag(I)/Ag(II) 이온쌍의 cyclic voltammogram을 백금전극에서 얻었으며, 피크전류로부터 Ag(I) 이온의 확산계수를 구하였다. Ag(I)/Ag(II) 이온쌍의 산화환원 반응은 물 분해 반응에 의해 크게 영향을 받았으며 백그라운드 보정을 통하여 정확한 피크전류를 측정할 수 있었다. Ag(I) 이온의 확산계수를 질산용액의 점도 및 온도의 함수로 나타냄으로써 전기화학적 매개산화공정의 한계전류밀도를 용이하게 예측할 수 있는 실험식을 제시하였다. From the anodic peak currents of cyclic voltammograms for Ag(I)/Ag(II) couple obtained with the variation of nitric acid concentration, Ag(I) concentration and solution temperature at a Pt electrode in concentrated nitric acid solutions, the diffusion coefficients of Ag(I) ion were evaluated to estimate the limiting current density of Ag(II)-mediated electrochemical oxidation (MEO) process, which has been effectively used for the complete destruction of hazardous organic materials. The results showed that, due to the water decomposition reaction which occurred simultaneously with the Ag(I) ion oxidation, background subtractions for the cyclic voltammograms were required to estimate the correct peak currents. The empirical relationship for the diffusion coefficient of Ag(I) was suggested as a function of solution viscosity and temperature.

        측두하악 장애환자의 하악 운동 Simulation에 관한 연구

        To understand the biomechanics of the mandibular movement of the patients with T.M.J. disorder, it is necessary to analyze the mandibular movement by the least moving points of instantaneous center of rotation on computer screen. In this study, two subjects without T.M.J. disorder and with normal occlusion and few patients with T.M.J. disorder were selected for obtaining the processing data. The habitual opening and dosing movements were recorded by image recognition system of video and computer and then the mandibular movement and the least moving point were analyzed using computer program for image anaysis of specialized points. The results obtained were as follows: 1. The least moving points of control group during opening and dosing were dose to the mandibular foramen, but in the test group there were differences between two positions of the least moving points during opening and closing. 2. The variations of the least moving point were in the range of $0.02\sim0.05cm$ of X-coordinate and $0.07\sim0.10cm$ of Y-coordinate for control group, whereas in the range of $0.05\sim0.30cm$ of X-coordinate and $0.08\sim1.65cm$ of Y-coordinate for test group. 3. The index of variation during opening and dosing movements was shown in $0.8\sim1.0$ for the control group and in $0.56\sim2.6$ for the test group. 4. After the treatment of the test group No. 4 by occlusal splint the least moving point was dose to the mandibular foramen and the index of variation was changed from 25 to 05. 5. The tracing shape of the least moving point in the test group represented the irregularities compared to the control group. 6. The mandibular opening and dosing movements were simulated on the computer screen following the movement of the least moving point of instantaneous center of rotation.

        Hemoglobin and protein patterns were obtained by cellulose acetate electrophoresis for two species of toad, Bufo bufo gargarizans and B. kangii. (1) Single band was appeared in hemoglobins from toads. (2) Relatively few components were found in plasma protein from B. kangii. (3) Two species of toad have unusually similar patterns of muscle protein.

      • Electrophoresis of Reptilian Blood Proteins

        The blood proteins of ten reptilian species were studied by cellulose acetate elctrophoresis. Three members examined of the genus Agkistrodon have unusually similar patterns in plasma protein, hemoglobin, lactate dehydrogenase and malate dehydrogenase. On the basis of their electrophoretic patterns, it was concluded that Agkistrodon blomhoffii brevicaudus was closely related to the others. In general the plasma protein patterns reflect species specificity. Under the conditions employed, all snakes had a single hemoglobin band except Dinodon rufozonatum rufozonatum which showing two component patterns. Two members of the Chelonia showed four bands of hemoglobin. The zymograms indicated a distinct divergence in blood proteins of the Squamata from those of the Chelonia. The results reflected superficially the established phylogenies of these groups.

        스포츠 스타 평판의 구성요인에 관한 연구

        이 연구는 스포츠 스타의 평판 구성요인을 알아보고자 하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 세부적으로 스포츠 스타의 평판이 어떠한 하위차원의 개념으로 구성되며, 이러한 하위차원의 개념들이 어떠한 측정항목으로 구성되는지를 분석하고자 하였다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 수도권에 거주하고 있는 성인 남?여 274부의 자료를 편의표본추출법으로 수집하여 분석하였다. 자료의 분석방법은 SPSS17.0을 이용한 기술통계분석과 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였고, LISREL8.50을 이용하여 확인적 요인분석과 수렴타당도, 판별타당도, 그리고 합성신뢰도 검증을 실시하여 다음과 같은 스포츠 스타의 평판 구성요인을 도출할 수 있었다. 스포츠 스타의 평판 구성요인은 개인인품, 전문성, 외적매력, 스포츠 이미지, 위기관리, 사회적 책임, 경기스타일의 7가지 구성요인(총 27개 측정문항)으로 도출되었다. The purpose of this study was to examine a reputation components for sports star. In detail, this is to analysis what dimensions are composed of sports star reputation and what measurement items are categorized under each dimension. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the data of 274 adults from seoul metropolitan residents were collected and surveyed by convenience sampling. In data analysis, exploratory factor analysis(EFA) and descriptive statistical analysis by SPSS17.0 as well as confirmatory factor analysis(CFA), convergent validity, discriminate validity and composite reliability by LISREL8.50 were performed to confirm the validity and reliability of the scale. The results were as follows; the reputation components of sports star were identified with 27 items under 7 dimensions such as personality, professionality, physical attractiveness, sports image, risk management ability, social responsibility and play style.
