2021년 국가수준 학업성취도 중학교 영어 평가 결과에 기반한 학생 성취 특성 분석

The purpose of this study was to derive improvements in English education in Korea through the analysis of student achievement characteristics based on the results of the 2021 Middle School English of National Assessment of Educational Achievement(NAEA). To this end, for the middle school NAEA questions in 2021, the response results of 11,810 students from 228 schools were classified into section and competence, and then the student achievement characteristics by achievement level for the questions were analyzed. The analysis showed that the students achievement in the listening section was generally good. However, in the speaking section, the percentage of correct answers was low in the open-answer type questions. In particular, the students belonging to Level 2 and Level 1 achieved a low percentage of correct answers in most of the questions, indicating that the overall speaking ability of the students was low. In the reading section, the percentage of correct answers was generally lower than that of the listening and speaking sections, which evaluate oral language skills. In the writing section, the percentage of correct answers was relatively low compared to other sections, which indicates that for middle school students, writing ability was the lowest among the four skills of English. In terms of English communication competence, the percentage of correct answers for listening and speaking items was higher than that of reading and writing items. This suggests that verbal proficiency is higher than written language proficiency. In terms of knowledge information processing competence, the percentage of correct answers for questions measuring knowledge information processing competence was generally lower than that of items measuring communication competence. Based on these analysis results, suggestions for improving the curriculum, textbooks, and teaching and learning are presented. 본 연구는 2021년 국가수준 학업성취도 중학교 영어 평가 결과에 기반한 학생 성취특성 분석을 통해 영어교육의 개선을 도모하고자 한다. 이를 위해 2021년도 중학교 학업성취도 평가 문항에 대한 228개 표집 학교의 11,810명의 학생들의 응답결과를 영역별, 역량별로 분류한 후 문항에 대한 성취수준별 학생 성취특성을 분석하였다. 분석결과 듣기 영역에서 학생들의 성취도는 전반적으로 양호 하였으나, 말하기 영역에서는 서답형 문항에서 낮은 정답률을 보였고 특히, 2수준과 1수준에 속한 학생들은 대부분 문항에서 낮은 정답률을 보여 학생들의 전반적인 말하기 능력이 낮았다. 읽기 영역에서는 구어 능력을 평가하는 듣기와 말하기 영역의 정답률보다 전반적으로 낮게 나타났으며, 쓰기 영역은 다른 영역에 비해 정답률이 상대적으로 낮게 나타나, 영어의 4 기능 중 중학생들의 쓰기 능력이 가장 낮다는 사실을 보여주었다. 영어 의사소통 역량에서는 구어 능력인 듣기와 말하기 문항의 정답률이 문어 능력인 읽기와 쓰기 문항의 정답률보다 높았고, 이해 능력을 측정하는 문항의 정답률이 표현 능력을 측정하는 문항의 정답률보다 높았다. 지식정보처리 역량에서는 지식정보처리 역량을 측정하는 문항의 정답률이 의사소통 역량을 측정하는 문항의 정답률보다 전반적으로 낮았다. 이러한 분석 결과를 기반으로 교육과정, 교과서, 교수학습 개선을 위한 제언을 제시하였다.
핵심역량 신장을 위한 중학교 영어 교실평가 개발 및 시행의 특징

The present study was designed to explore the characteristics of developing and administering English classroom assessments to enhance core competencies at middle schools. The purpose of the study was threefold. First, it was to identify the difficulty of developing English classroom assessments to enhance core competencies in terms of teachers’ viewpoints. Secondly, it was to examine the difficulty in administering assessments. Lastly, it was to explore ways to lesson these difficulties. This study focused on ‘communication competency’ and ‘social competency’ among the competencies presented in the 2015 Revised National Curriculum, which is widely regarded as a competency-based curriculum. This study is an action research which was undertaken by teachers who were working alongside the researcher. The assessment was a performance based English classroom assessment which could be used as a formative tool. Diary, classroom observation and group interviews with the working group teachers were employed to collect data. The difficulties of developing and administering the assessment and ideas for improvement were discussed from teachers’ perspectives. It is expected that the outcomes can work for assessment as learning by understanding the characteristics of developing and administering English classroom assessments to foster core competencies.
What causes washback: Perceptions and behaviour.

This study examined the influence of a high stakes examination on test takers’ perceptions and their behaviour to study for it in terms of motivation. The researcher started the study with the assumption that test takers’perceptions of an examination may influence how they study for the examination. The researcher analysed Korean Overseas Students’ perceptions of their high stakes examination in relation to the four variables generated by understanding what directs an individual’s motivation from the motivation theory: Flow Theory and Expectancy Value Theory. Interviews were employed to investigate students’ perceptions of the UEEKOS English. The analysis showed four significant relationships between the students’ perceptions of each section of their high stakes examination and their motivation―as represented by their claims of the amount of attention they paid when they studied for it ―and six cause and effect relationships between their perceptions and their motivation. These findings showed that there are some cause and effect relationships between the perceptions of students and their motivation. This letter presents a measurement methodology of the complex permittivity of liquid using a partially open cavity in narrow band. The partially open cavity (POC) can measure dielectric small changes caused by the temperature variation of the liquid inside the cavity as well. Using the resonance frequency and unloaded quality factor of the proposed POC, the complex permittivity is evaluated. The apertures on the walls of the cavity are designed to circulate the liquid inside to outside of the POC and located at the corner area of the cavity to minimize the disturbance of field distribution at the dominant mode. The results measured by the proposed POC were compared with those by the conventional open-ended probe and Cole-Cole equation. The POC showed better performance in measuring small dielectric constant changes than the open-ended probe.

Gundrilling is a key process in deep hole machining which for example, occupye 20~30 percentage on the mild die machining. Recently, according to popularization of NC machine and machining center, Gundrilling's high efficient processing is powerfully required. This paper deal with enperimental research on the machinahility of gundrilling. We obsersed on the cutting power and variety of machined hole diameter in case various materials such as SM20C SM45C SUS304 and gundrill's configurations and cutting oil. The main results are obtained as follows : 1. Machining torque and thrust are well approached MILTON C, SHAW'S theorectical eq. at feed range 0.015~0.02mm/rev. 2. Total machining condition is good at feed range 0.015~0.02mm/rev. 3. Mean hump ratio is founded 1.47~16 in torque 1.03~2.27 in thrust. 4. When gundrill's cutting angle is near 30。-20。removal chip is normally formed.
