        A number of Electronic control units (ECU) housing are located in a car everywhere. ECU housings are composed of a upper plastic, ECU circuits, a bottom plastic commonly. Two plastics are adhered by a vibration welding (VW) techniques. It is extremely important to enhance the VW strength because cars experience physical shocks continuously. In this paper, We modified it in terms of additives. The ECU housing with a anti-hydrolysis(A-H) agent showed a remarkable progress of VW strength from 1.4 bar to 2.3 bar in a burst test. We figured that anti-hydrolysis agents could be a solution to achieve it.

        타부키의 ‘내적불안(Inquietudine)’과 ‘노스탤지어(Nostalgia)’ 비교

        본 논문에서는 타부키 문학에 나타난 노스탤지어(nostalgia)와 내적 불안(inquietudine)의 공간, 시간, 대상에 대한 검토를 통해 두 개념의 차이를 살펴보았다. 노스탤지어는 18세기에 시작된 정서로, 사우다드와는 구별되는 관념이며, 포르투칼 특유의 정서인 사우다드에 비해 보편적 정서이나, 돌이킬 수 없는 과거, 불가능한 것의 부재에 대한 욕망, 우울한 감정이다. 노스탤지어의 대상은 삶을 공유했던 존재, 실제 경험했던 것이 되기도 하지만 그렇지 않은 대상도 가능하다. 이는 타부키가 자신의 작품에서 19세기의 시인 페소아 그리고 이미 과거로 치환되는 유럽을 노스탤지어의 대상으로 한 것에서 드러난다. 반면에 내적불안(inquietudine)는 20세기를 관통하는 정서로, 2차례의 세계대전과 이념의 폭력적인 대립의 경험뿐 아니라 역사, 신화, 전통, 사회와 결부되어 개인의 감정과 정서에 겹겹이 쌓여 있는 것이다. 타부키는 내적불안의 개념을 현대에 요구되는 지식인의 역할과 글쓰기로 환원시키며 지식인=작가의 역할을 강조하며, 작가는 현대의 ‘내적 불안’을 인식하고, 이해하고 치유하는 글쓰기를 통해 유의미한 역할과 기능을 할 수 있다고 보았다. This study reviews the space, time, and subjects of nostalgia and inquietudine in Antonio Tabucchi’s literature and examined differences between these concepts. As a sentiment that began in the 18th century, nostalgia is a notion that is distinct from saudade, which is a sentiment unique to Portugal. Compared to saudade, it is a universal sentiment, a desire for the irreversible past and the absence of the impossible, and a gloomy feeling. The subjects of nostalgia are beings that one once shared their life with, something that is experienced in real life, but it is possible for them not to be either. This can be seen through Tabucchi’s choice of having the 19th-century Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa and Europe, that has already been replaced by the past, as subjects of nostalgia in his works. In contrast, as a sentiment that infiltrated throughout the 20th century, inquietudine exists layered in the emotions and sentiments of individuals who not only experienced the two world wars and the violent clash of ideologies but are also tied to history, myths, traditions, and the society. Tabucchi reduces the concept of anxiety to the role of intellectuals that is demanded by the contemporary times and writing, emphasizing the role of the intellectual as the writer. He saw that as someone who is cognizant of the contemporary “anxieties,” the writer can perform a meaningful role through writing that heals.

        ‘이탈리아 이론(Italian theory)’의 생명 정치와 ‘공동체’

        Esposito’s “immune paradigm” and Agamben’s concepts of “Homo sacer” and “biosecurity” have gained increasing attention in the wake of the coronavirus 2019 pandemic. The biopolitics presented by these Italian philosophers has been discussed actively on a global scale and not merely in the Italian context. This study aims to examine whether Agamben and Esposito’s discourse on community can be universalized. Agamben and Esposito represent the individuality and non-mainstreamness of Italian philosophy, called “Italian theory,” which Negri visualized in The Italian Difference in 2005. This is different from the so-called European universal philosophy. To this end, this study examines the individuality and non-mainstreamness of Italian philosophy in the construction of modern philosophy as well as the boundaries and characteristics of what is now known as “Italian theory.” It further discusses the ways in which Agamben and Esposito’s collective discourse, which represents it, has been discussed on a global scale.

        정동(Affect)의 피렌체 : 타부키의 『집시와 르네상스 - 피렌체에서 집시로 살아가기』

        본고에서는 21세기 글로벌 시대 정동을 포착하여 그 속에서 문학의 의미와 작가/지식인의 역할을 제시했던 타부키 행보의 시작이 된 1999년 작품 『집시와 르네상스』에서 타부키가 피렌체라는 도시를 모델로 포착한, 현대사회에도 유효한 정동을 살펴보았다. 이탈리아 현대문학의 대표작가 안토니오 타부키는 현대 문명의 요람이 되었던 피렌체에서 20세기 말 자본주의 서구세계에서 떠도는 오만함, 불관용에서 피어난 `정동(Affect)`을 관찰하여 `르포르타주의 르포르타주` 형식으로 『집시와 르네상스 - 피렌체에서 집시로 살아가기』를 집필하였다. 포스트 식민주의 이후 서구사회는 외부 세계를 인식하는 논리와 방향을 잃게 되면서 복잡다단한 현대사회와 결부된 개인, 혹은 집단감정, 정념과 결부된 정동이 표현되어왔다. 타부키는 현재 피렌체 도시 분위기, 피렌체 토착민의 집단행동, 집단 감정, 소속감의 문제들을 다루며 피렌체 시민들의 특권과 안정성 그리고 이주자와 난민들의 목소리를 포착하고자 하였다. 그리고 두 목소리가 어떤 상황이나 환경에서 사소하지만 반복적으로 충돌되는 정동을 주목하였다. This study analyzed Tabucchi`s Gli Zingari e il Rinascimento. Vivere da Rom a Firenze, a work written in 1999 that was the start of the author`s project to propose the meaning of literature and the role of a writer/intellectual by zooming into the affect of the global city in the twenty-first century, and examined the affect that Tabucchi identified in Florence as its model, which is still effective in our contemporary society. Antonio Tabucchi, a renowned writer of Italian contemporary literature, wrote Gli Zingari e il Rinascimento. Vivere da Rom a Firenze in the style of “the reportage of a reportage” in Florence, which was a cradle of contemporary civilization, by observing the “affect” that blossomed from the arrogance and intolerance floating around Western Capitalism at the end of the twentieth century. Western society, after post-colonialism, loses the rationality and direction by which to perceive the world. Hence, an affect linked to individuals, collective emotions, and the sense of belonging coupled with intricate modern society, has emerged. Taking on the urban temper of Florence, collective behavior, collective emotions, and the sense of belonging of the Florence locals, Tabucchi aimed at capturing the privilege and stability of Florence citizens, and the voice of the immigrants and refugees, particularly focusing on the affect of trivial yet repetitive conflicts between these two voices in certain situations or environments.

        유럽 코로나 19 팬데믹에 대한 아감벤의 관점

        본고는 2020년 전개된 유럽의 코로나 19 팬데믹에 대한 조르지오 아감벤의 공시적 고찰을 분석한 논문이다. 호모 사케르와 예외상태, 바이오 보안으로 현대사회를 분석한 아감벤의 철학을 바탕으로 2020년 유럽 한가운데서 팬데믹 현상을 다룬 그의 쿠오드리베트 (Quodlibet)의 칼럼과, 저서 『우리는 어디쯤일까 (A Che punto siamo?)』를 대상으로 분석하였다. 먼저 코로나 19 팬데믹에 대한 아감벤의 의견과 다른 학자들 간의 논쟁에 관하여 다루었다. 다음 장에서는 팬데믹 상황에서 드러난 ‘두려움’으로 기독교, 자본주의, 과학이라는 현대유럽 사회의 신념 체계가 붕괴되고 의학이라는 새로운 종교가 탄생했다고 보는 아감벤의 관점을 살펴보았다. 또 유럽 팬데믹 상황에서 드러난 바이오보안 (biosicurezza)와 정치의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 그리고 마지막 장에서는 예외상태 (Stato di Eccezione)가 노멀이 된 상태가 뉴노멀 시대라고 본 아감벤의 관점을 고찰하였다. This study presents an analysis of the synchronic study by Giorgio Agamben on the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe. Based on Agamben’s philosophical commentaries, in which he analyzed modern society using concepts such as Homo sacer, the state of exception, and biosecurity, this study examined his columns on Quodlibet, an analysis of the pandemic in Europe in 2020, and his book A che punto siamo? The first chapter of this study consists of an analysis of the controversy between Agamben and other scholars over the COVID-19 pandemic. The second chapter examines Agamben’s perspective that the fear caused by the pandemic has weakened the belief systems of modern European society, including Christianity, capitalism, and science, and instead given birth to a new religion called “medicine”, also in this chapter analyze the relationship between biosecurity and European politics revealed in pandemic situations. Finally, the third chapter contemplates Agamben’s assertion that the state of exception has become the new normal in the COVID-19 era in this era.

        태국의 근대화(Siwilai)와 이탈리아인 : 1868-1910년 인프라 구축을 중심으로

        본 논문은 1868년부터 1910년까지 시암 왕국이 추진하였던 근대화 과정에서 이탈리아인들이 미쳤던 영향을 인프라 구축을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 태국에서 이탈리아의 활동은 두 국가가 수교를 맺은 1868년 이후 활발하게 나타나지만, 이미 1600년대 아유타야 왕국 시대에도 이탈리아 기술자들을 고용한 기록이 남아있다. 그리고 1861년 ‘불완전한’ 통일을 이룩한 이탈리아는 경제적 위기와 정치적 충돌은 많은 이탈리아 이민자를 양성하였다. 이들 중 많은 수가 건설업에 종사하는 노동자들이 있었는데, 일부가 시암 왕국으로 이주하였다. 이들은 시암의 이탈리아 이민 1세대가 되며 소위 “올드 시암에서 뉴 시암”으로 근대화(Siwilai)를 진행하는 시기에 시암의 인프라 구축에 참여하였다. 이들은 이미 아시아에서 식민지를 구축하고 있던 프랑스와 영국 사이에서 다소 불리한 입지였지만 이들이 가진 기술력과 시암 왕실이 강대국들 사이에서 펼치는 중립 외교의 영향으로 시암에서 입지를 확보할 수 있었다. 이는 빡남 사건 이후 이탈리아 공사관이 설립되는 과정에서 두드러진다. 그리고 이들의 활동은 20세기 초이탈리아인들이 시암 왕국에서 건축 분야에서 주축이 될 수 있는 기반이 되었다. This paper examines the influence of Italians in the modernization process promoted by the Kingdom of Siam from 1868 to 1910, focusing on the construction of infrastructure. Italian businesses had been active in Thailand since 1868, when the two countries established diplomatic relations. However, as far back as the 1600s, there have been records of Italian engineers being employed by the Ayutthaya Furthermore, in the 1800s, there was an increase in the number of Italians immigrating to Thailand because of the economic and political crises caused by the incomplete unification of 1861. Many of these immigrants were construction workers, and some of them arrived in the Kingdom of Siam, They became the first generation of Italian immigrants in Siam, and helped build Siam’s infrastructure during the so-called “Siwilai” (modernization) period, during which it transitioned from Old Siam to New Siam. Italian immigrants were somewhat disadvantaged compared to those from France and Britain countries that had already established colonies throughout Asia. However, they managed to secure a niche in Siam thanks to their technical competence and because of the Siamese royal family’s established neutral stance with powerful countries. This became even more clear during the process of establishing the Italian legation after the Paknam incident in 1893. Thus, their activities built a foundation for Italians to play key roles in the major architectural projects of the Kingdom of Siam during the early 20th century.

        안토니오 타부키 문학에 나타난 ‘인도’ 이미지 연구

        Tabucchi has elaborated that India’s image in Western literature had always maintained a position of from reality, responding to the aesthetic, philosophical or literary demands with a typically projective effect rather than from that of the origin. Tabucchi, in his texts dealing with images of India, renounced providing an interpretation of the “real” India, since it appears impossible to understand oriental culture through the optical limitations of Western forms of interpretation. Tabucchi’s texts written about India are ultimately novels in which the inner issues acquire a predominant value in comparison to local landscape stereotypes. They are written in a way such that time and space immediately acquire the real India, without the solution of continuity, the valence of functional personal factors, or above all, the interior glance. Tabucchi faced the inability to understand other cultures than through a single unifying gaze with great humility but also with great predictive ability; he entrusted to literature the task of absorbing any external descriptions in the imaginary spaces of an internalized landscape whose territories and timeframe ultimately constitute, the specific stages of an inner journey characterized as the search for the self.

        이탈리아 최초의 태국학 연구자 제리니

        This paper analyzes the activities of Gerolamo Emilio Gerini (1850-1913), who was among the first generation of Italian immigrants to move to Thailand at the end of the 19th century. Scholarly attention on Gerini’s activities has largely been limited to his military and political achievements: Gerini is known for being a trusty associate of King Chulalongkorn, and his contributions to the modernization of Siam’s military earned him a coveted place in “The Most Exalted Order of the White Elephant.” However, during his 25 years in Siam, Gerini also traveled extensively around Siam and to neighboring countries, collecting 3,000 ancient documents for research and analysis. Further, he is also regarded as the first scholar to introduce Siam and the Thai academic community to modern archiving methods at the end of the 19th century. Gerini also founded the “Siam Society” in 1904, which was charged with studying and promoting knowledge about Siam, its history, and culture. Even after returning to Italy in 1906, Gerini continued to study the culture and language of Siam and disseminate his research to Italian academia. He accompanied during King Chulalongkorn's second visit to Europe and was responsible for arranging the exhibition of the Thai Pavilion at the 1911 Turin International Exposition. Drawing on his research and academic achievements, this thesis examines whether it is possible to identify Gerini as “the first Thai scholar in Italy.”

        〈싸우크르아화〉: 태국에서 〈나비부인〉의 수용과 변형

        This study examines how Sao Krua fah (สาวเครือฟ้า), which was influenced by Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, was received and adapted in Thailand. During his second visit to Europe, King Chulalongkorn of Thailand watched Madama Butterfly in Paris on September 25, 1907, and wrote a letter to his daughter, in which he gave a detailed description of the work and his comments on it. After returning to his country, King Chulalongkorn ordered the creation of a Thailand-style Madama Butterfly based on the details provided in his letter. The musical drama thus produced was Sao Krua fah, which remains hugely popular among the Thai people. Sao Krua fah is a narrative that was first presented by King Chulalongkorn and has since enjoyed great popularity in Thailand through its adaptations for literary works as well as film and drama titles. Accordingly, this paper performs a chronological survey of the reception and adaptation of Madama Butterfly in Thailand through literature review. Its comparative analysis with Puccini’s Madama Butterfly especially focuses on the examination of the script of the musical drama, the first of the diverse versions of Sao Krua fah that are available in Thailand.
