역삼투복합막의 박막으로 사용되고 있는 polyamide의 성능을 용질투과방식과 연관하여 이론적으로 고려하고 단량체 및 제조 조건을 변화시켜 계면중합을 통해 제조하여 봄으로써 이의 검증을 시도하였다. 제조된 고분자는 중합조건에 따라 물질 구성의 변화를 보여 주었으며, 이는 이론적으로 제시한 값의 범주에 속하였다. 또한 이에 따라 막성능에서도 큰 영향을 발휘한 바, 용매의 변화, 수용상 및 유기상 단량체의 농도 비율에 따라 고분자의 함유성분의 변화를 가져왔다. The theoretical and experimental analysis on polyamide used for reverse osmosis thin-film composite membrane had been conducted. The physicochemical properties of polyamide had been varied by preparation recipes which depends on kinds of monomer, solvents and polymerization time. These properties and performance as a reverse osmosis membrane had been calculated by group contribution method. The experimental results has the same trends with theoretical preview.
향류식 역삼투공정에 의한 상용막의 에탄올 농축 특성에 관한 연구

0The concentration characteristics for reverse osmosis and countercurrent reverse osmosis process with varing concentration of ethanol solution and applied pressure were investigated in this study. Also, the theoretical value derived for countercurrent reverse osmosis(Osmotic sink reverse osmosis) were compared with the experimental results. In RO and CCRO experiments, three kinds of commercial membrane(TFCL, UOP Co., U.S.A./FT-30, Film Tec Co., U.S.A. / Cellulose Acetate blend, UOP Co., U.S.A.), applied pressure of 3.92, 4.9 MPa and feed concentration of 3.9, 10.2 wt% were used. From the results of this study. DC(Degree of Concentration) of ethanol by TFCL membrane was the highest value of three kinds of membrane, and DC of ethanol by OSRO was the highest value of two types of ethanol concentration process. In addition, DC of OSRO more increased greately than that of RO as applied pressure difference increased. In comparison with experimental and numrical results, the numerical results were accorded with experimental results within 5-13% of error.

In this study, the pressure drop at permeate channel and feed channel which are units in spiral-wound module of reverse osmosis was considered. Pressure drop is affected by the characteristics of pore size, porousity which is in porous media itself and putting it one constant, it can be showed by constant k which has characteristics of pressure drop in porous media. The equation on pressure drop of flowing fluid through porous media was developed by equation of Kozeny-Carman and the result of the equation was compared with experimental result. The result of the experimental data was comparatively corresponded to the result of the equation. From this, it can be showed the equation which was developed on this study was available to the analysis on spiral-wound module of reverse osmosis

In this study, polyimides were synthesized and ultrafiltration membranes were prepared. For synthesis of polyimdes, aromatic dianhydrides were used with 3,3'-4.4' - benzophenone tetracarboxylic dianhydride, pyromellitic dianhyride and for aromatic diamines, with 4,4' - oxydianiline, 4.4' -methylene dianiline. The synthesis of polyimide was preceded by two-step(thermal imidiazation) processing operation, and UF membranes were prepared by wet spinning. In this experiment, N, N-dimethylacetamide was used in preparation of membrane, the change of membrane performance was investigated by using the modules of UF hollow fiber membrane.
