This paper presents the methodology for optimal design of power grid for offshore wind power plant (OWPP) and optimum location of offshore substation. The proposed optimization process is based on a genetic algorithm, where the objective cost model is composed of investment, power loss, repair, and reliability cost using the net present value during the whole OWPP life cycle. A probability wind power output is modeled to reflect the characteristics of a wind power plant that produces electricity through wind and to calculate the reliability cost called expected energy not supplied. The main objective is to find the minimum cost for grid connection topology by submarine cables which cannot cross each other. Cable crossing was set as a constraint in the optimization algorithm of grid topology of the wind power plant. On the basis of this method, a case study is conducted to validate the model by simulating a 100-MW OWF.

본 논문은 분산 시스템에서의 부하 균형을 이루기 위한 이전 알고리즘을 제안했다. 본 논문에서는 이전 알고리즘 수행시 상태 정보 요청없이 이전 알고리즘을 수행할 수 있다. 부하의 값이 변할때 이전 가능한 조건인지 조사하여 이전 가능할 때 작업을 이전하여 전체적인 시스템 향상을 도모하였다. 실험을 통하여 프로세서 수의 증가에 대한 시스템 처리 능력 향상을 고찰해 보았다.

This study suggests the methodology to decide the number and adequate capacity of substation transformer in a large-scale offshore wind farm (OWF). The recent trend in transformer capacity of offshore substation is analyzed in many European offshore wind farm sites prior to entering the studies. In order to carry out the economic evaluation for the transformer capacity we present the cost models which consist of investment, operation, and expected energy not supplied (EENS) cost as well as the probabilistic wind power model of wind energy that combines the wind speed with wind turbine output characteristics for a exact calculation of energy loss cost. Economic assessment includes sensitivity analysis of parameters which could impact the 400-MW OWF: average wind speed, availability, discount rate, energy cost, and life-cycle.

An offshore wind power plant (WPP) is very expensive and different from an onshore wind power system in many ways. There has been a continuous increase in the capacity of the offshore WPPs. Therefore it is essential to analyze the feasibility and reliability of the offshore wind power to optimize their redundancy. Besides, it is very important to study a planning for grid interconnection of adjacent offshore WPPs. This paper proposes a economic evaluation method to interconnect with adjacent offshore substations in offshore wind power grid. Also, we suggest the probabilistic reliability method to calculate a probabilistic power output of the wind turbine and a cost of the expected energy not supplied that is used as the reliability index of the power system.
학습 오토마타를 이용한 화일 이동 (pp.210-215)

분산 처리 시스템에서의 일반적인 동적 화일 이동 알고리즘은 화일 이동을 위한 메시지 전송이 많고, 이동될 화일의 목적 프로세서를 결정하는 결정 함수가 복잡하므로 이에 기인한 오버헤드가 크다. 본 논문에서는 화일 이동 알고리즘을 위한 메시지 전송을 없애고, 학습 오토마타를 사용하여 간단한 결정 함수를 구한다. 그리고 학습 오토마타의 특성에 따라 동적으로 변화하는 시스템의 상태에 적절히 적응하여 화일 이동을 수행하는 알고리즘을 제시한다. Algorithms for migrating files in distributed systems need a lot of message transmissions. Complex objective functions to determine the destination processor to which files are migrated make a large computational overhead in the system. In this paper, a simple desion function based on the learning automata is suggested to reduce the number of message transmissions in the file migration. Also, we propose a file migration algorithm which is adaptive to the dynamic systme according to the characteristics of the learning automata.

This paper describes a capacity of distributed generation which will be interconnected at low voltage distribution systems. In order to set the capacity of distributed generation, a voltage variation of distribution system is considered. Besides, the capacity of distributed generation is classified according to a capacity of pole transformer and loads. The system constructions in this paper are analyzed by using PSCAD/EMTDC. In the immediate future, it is expected to increase the installation of New and renewable energy systems which are generally interconnected to distribution power systems in the form of distributed generations like photovoltaic system, wind power and fuel cell. So the study of this kind would be needed to limit the capacity of distributed generation.
