휴대폰 애플리케이션을 통한 타워전망대 동적특성 분석

It is very important to calculate natural frequency of the observatory tower correctly because it is keenly affected by wind response vibration due to its large slenderness ratio, weight and small damping ratio. Additionally, suggestion equation of natural frequency being used in the design phase has considerable difference between actual measured value thereby making it inappropriate to be used in the serviceability design of the observatory tower. Therefore, this paper conducted an ambient vibration measuring on 10 observatory towers through mobile-phone application thereby calculating the natural frequency and comparing the result with the domestic and foreign standards and that of the eigen-value analysis. This paper suggested approximate equation of the natural frequency of the observatory tower; T=0.0266H. The square of the corelation coefficient is 0.940, which is high.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the immediate effects of using the proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) contract-relax technique in the close kinetic chain position on the gait ability and gastrocnemius muscle tone of stroke patients. Methods: The subjects were patients who had strokes due to cerebrum infarction and hemorrhage. The subjects participated in exercise with the PNF contract-relax technique in the standing-on-elbow position with a high table, and the affected lower leg was placed in the posterior position. The PNF contract-relax technique was applied at the position in which the ankle plantar-flexors were in a sufficiently elongated position. After performing twice in each range, while the muscle was elongated, the affected side was moved further back and a new range was set. In each session, the time of contraction was set to 8 seconds, and the resting time was set to 5 seconds; however, if the patient felt tired, they received more resting time during the intervention. The Myoton Pro and 10 m walking test were used to measure the muscle tone and gait ability both pre- and post-intervention. Results: After participating in the program, the muscle tone decreased and the gait ability improved in the ankle plantar-flexors, as determined by the Myoton Pro and 10 m walking test. Conclusion: The PNF contract-relax technique can help to decrease muscle tone in ankle plantar-flexors with hypertonus and increase the gait ability in stroke patients.

The cases of conducting the vibration measurement using the mobile phone with regard to the building's horizontal vibration are very rare in Korea and foreign countries. Therefore, this study analyzed the horizontal vibration nature of the building using the mobile phone targeting 5 tall buildings, and reviewed about the applicability of the mobile phone vibration measuring instrument through the comparison/verification with the data of the existing vibration measuring instrument. The peak of the measured time series waveform was measured clearly and it showed a similar value to the existing natural frequency.

본 논문은 주요 폭발물 탐지 기술에 대한 원리, 장단점 및 향후 필요한 연구 분야에 대한 총설이다. 폭발물 탐지 기술은 분광학적 방법(spectroscopic methods), 감지기 기술(sensor techniques), 후각 감지기(olfactory type sensors)로 분류할 수 있다. 이러한 탐지 기술은 많은 발전이 있었지만 폭발물 탐지를 위한 판별성, 휴대성, 감도에 관한 연구 가능성이 높은 것으로 보인다. This paper reviews the principles, advantages, and disadvantages of main explosives detection technologies, as well as research areas needed in the future. Explosives detection technology can be classified into spectroscopic methods, sensor techniques, and olfactory type sensors. There have been advances in explosives detection technology, however studies on discriminatory, portability, and sensitivity for explosives detection still remained competitive.

금속 유기 골격체는 최근 20년간 센서, 촉매, 에너지 저장과 같은 많은 응용분야에서 관심을 받아온 물질이다. 이 물질을 합성하기 위해 수열 합성, 유기용매열과 같은 합성법이 제시되어 왔으나, 그 공정이 복잡하면서 고비용·장시간이 소요된다는 문제점이 제기되어 왔다. 이를 해결하기 위한 전기화학적 합성법이 새롭게 제시되었는데, 간단한 준비 절차와 특정한 온도·압력 조건 없이 합성할 수 있어 기존 합성법의 단점을 보완한다는 특징이 있다. 이에 본 총설논문에서는 전기화학적으로 합성 가능한 금속 유기 골격체의 종류와 전기화학적 합성 메커니즘을 다루고 있다. 전기화학적 합성법을 통해 형성된 금속 유기 골격체를 적용한 응용분야 연구동향을 정리하였다. During the last two decades, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have been drawn attention due to their high specific surface area, porosity, and catalytic activities that allow to use in many applications such as sensor, catalysis, energy storage, etc. To synthesize MOFs hydrothermal or solvothermal method were generally used. However, these methods require high-cost equipment and long time-spend for the synthesis with multi-step process. In contrast, electrochemical synthesis has been considered as a simple and easy process under the ambient conditions. In this review, we described the mechanism of electrochemical MOFs synthesis by the number of configured electrodes system, with the recent reports of various applications.

미디어 정치경제학의 학문적 지형과 이론적 과제

미디어 정치경제학은 미국을 중심으로 한 주류 커뮤니케이션 연구의 실증주의와 행태주의적 경향에 반기를 들며 등장한 비판커뮤니케이션 연구전통의 하나이다. 비판커뮤니케이션 연구는 주류 커뮤니케이션 연구가 메시지의 효과에 과도한 관심을 기울인다고 비판하면서, 사회의 권력관계와 지배구조 재생산에 커뮤니케이션 메시지와 제도가 어떤 기능을 하는지에 주목하였다. 특히 미디어 정치경제학은 커뮤니케이션 제도의 소유와 통제, 미디어의 생산, 유통 및 수용과정, 그리고 커뮤니케이션과 자본주의 재생산 간의 관계에 대한 분석을 통해 권력의 문제를 다루는 데 주력해왔다. 이 글의 목적은 미디어 정치경제학의 학문적 지형과 이론적 과제를 살펴보는 데 있다. 먼저 미디어 정치경제학의 학문적 지형에 대한 검토는 미디어 정치경제학의 학문적 특성, 주요 관심주제, 주요 연구자들, 학문적 허브, 주요 논문, 주요 학술조직과 학회지 등을 살펴보는 것에 의해 이루어진다. 이어서 본 연구는 미디어 정치경제학 내에서 혹은 문화연구 등과의 이론적 논쟁을 통해 제기된 미디어 정치경제학의 이론적 한계들을 간략하게 되짚어보고, 이를 극복하기 위한 노력과 앞으로의 당면과제들을 검토할 것이다. This study explores the academic development of the Political Economy of Communication, which is pursued by reviewing academic characteristics, research subjects, key scholars, formal and informal institution as an academic hub, key articles, major academic associations and academic journals. In addition, this study examines important theoretical limitations and tasks to deal with in the future, which have been exposed through several heated debates with other research traditions such as Cultural Studies and Post Modernism.

미디어산업의 지구화에 대한 통합적 분석틀의 모색

이 글의 목적은 미디어 지구화의 최근 논의들에서 K-Pop의 지구화를 설명할 수 있는 새로운 분석틀을 모색하는 데 있다. K-Pop으로 대표되는 한류의 최근 변화는 기존 한류 연구의 일면적인-아시아 중심적, 매스미디어 중심적, 국가 중심적, 장소 중심적, 생산 또는 수용 지향적-한계를 부각시키고 있다. 따라서 이 글은 한류 현상을 제대로 이해하기 위해서는 글로벌과 로컬, 문화생산과 수용 과정을 통합적으로 고려하는 새로운 접근이 필요하다고 주장한다. 이를 위해 문화경제지리학, 대중문화연구, 참여문화 등의 이론적 시각에서 글로벌 음악 산업의 특징과 변화를 살펴보고, 이러한 변화의 문맥에 K-Pop의 지구화 과정을 위치지울 수 있는지에 대해 검토한다. 그리고 이론적 논의와 음악 산업의 변화에 대한 검토에 근거해 K-Pop의 지구화를 통합적으로 설명하기 위한 가설적 분석틀을 제시한다. This paper tries to build an integrative analytical framework for understanding media globalization with a case of K?Pop. It draws on the emerging theoretical discussions in cultural economic geography, new mobilities paradigm, the scene perspective and participatory culture. This framework can be employed as an alternative to the existing perspectives in analyzing the Korean Wave since it better accommodates the technological, economic and social changes, such as increasing use of global social media in the marketing and consumption of K?Pop and unexpected expansion of K?Pop fandom beyond Asia. We propose an exploratory model for understanding why and how K?Pop has been globalized. Most importantly, our framework integrates the processes of media production and consumption.
