한중학계에서 도행지(陶行知)의 교육사상 비교연구와 시사점

도행지는 20세기 중국의 교육가, 사상가, 정치인, 문학가로 중국 현대 교육사상의 기초를 다지는 중요한 인물 중 하나로 동·서양을 아우르는 폭넓은 학문적 지식은 국내·외에서 높은 평가를 받고 있다. 20세기 1920년대부터 도행지에 관한 연구는 중국 본토, 홍콩, 마카오, 대만, 일본, 한국, 유럽, 미국 등에서 지속적으로 연구되고 있다. 한국의 경우 도행지에 대한 연구가 상대적으로 늦게 시작되었지만, 한국의 대표적인 대학 및 교육개발원 등 여러 전문 기관에서 일부 전문가들이 연구에 참여하고 있으며, 상당한 진전을 보이고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 중·한 학계의 시각에서 도행지 교육사상과 응용 현황을 비교연구하여 시사점을 도출하고 있다. 연구결과 중국 학자들의 도행지 교육사상에 대한 연구성과는 주로 전문저술에 집중되었으며, 특히, 도행지 교육 사상과 실천, 중국 교육 개혁, 학문 교육 통합등의 분야에서 이루어지고 있다는 것을 보여주었다. 한편, 한국의 학자들은 도행지 교육 사상이 주로 한국의 교육 개혁과 발전에 미치는 영향을 나타냈으며, 특히 농촌교육, 민주교육, 창조교육, 평생교육 등 다양한 분야에서의 적용과 실천에 관해 의미가 있는 것으로 보여주었다. Tao Xingzhi is one of China’s outstanding educators, thinkers, politicians and writers in the 20th century, and one of the founders of China’s modern educational thought. His erudition and versatility are highly appreciated both at home and abroad. Since the 1920s, research on Tao Xingzhi has flourished, covering mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Europe and the United States. Although Korea’s research on Tao Xingzhi has been relatively late, many universities and research institutions in Korea, such as the Korea Institute of Education and Development, have made significant progress. In order to further promote the dissemination and application of Tao Xingzhi’s educational ideas in China and Korea, this thesis mainly studies Tao Xingzhi’s educational ideas and applications from the perspective of Chinese and Korean scholars. This paper summarizes Tao Xingzhi’s research history and current situation in China and Korea, including the importance and dissemination of Tao Xingzhi’s educational ideas in China and Korea. In addition, the article also introduces the curriculum connotation construction of Tao Xingzhi’s educational ideas in Korea, as well as the development trend and prospect of Tao Xingzhi’s research in Korea. In addition, this thesis also studies Tao Xingzhi’s educational thought from the perspective of Chinese and Korean scholars. The results show that Chinese scholars mainly focus on Tao Xingzhi’s educational thought monographs. Finally, the enlightenment and suggestion of Tao Xingzhi’s educational thought research and application in Chinese and Korean academic circles are put forward.
