      • 農村觀光經營主의 企業家 精神이 事業成果에 미치는 影響

        This study focus on developing effective ways of increasing performance of individual rural tourism business. To achieve research purposes, this study applies empirical investigation about the influence of entrepreneurial management behavior of rural tourism managers on business performance. Then, it suggest required entrepreneurial postures of rural tourism manager based on the results. The result shows that entrepreneurial posture of rural tourism manager is consist of innovativeness, risk taking, aggressiveness and competitiveness. Most of them have statistically significant influence on business performance.

        농촌마을 농특산물 포장디자인 개선을 위한 샤렛 개발 및 효과- 재능기부디자이너들의 의식변화를 중심으로 -

        In these days, agricultural products are regarded as a core income source in tourism villages. Nevertheless, poor packaging of agricultural products has threatened the competitiveness and quality of products. For farmers, it is less likely to employ individual designer for developing and improving their packages due to low accessability to rural villages and budgets. Based on this background, this study conducted ‘Charrette’ in order to improve agricultural product packaging. The target village was ‘Goraday’ in Gangwon province. This study consisted of different steps for building and implementing proper ‘Charrette’ programs. Then, it also conducted empirical investigation about the effectiveness and efficiency of ‘Charrette’. ‘Charrette’ has made progress as follows; first step was concerned with advance preparation for constructing program. Second, implementation of ‘Charratte’ included data collection and analysis, and development of design. Third, evaluation and feedback stage have given presentation and discussion about suggested design with local residents. Empirical investigation about the effectiveness and efficiency of ‘Charrette’ has been composed with survey and interview targeting participants. In survey and interviews, designers were asked about their attitudinal changes in relation to knowledge, recognition, function, motivation, and satisfaction toward ‘Charrette’ and ‘agricultural product package design’ before and after participating the event. The results showed that knowledge and perception of designers toward ‘agricultural product package design’ have positively increased. In addition, it revealed that designers were satisfied with collaborations with others and their contribution to rural community business. However, the results also suggested that sufficient preparation time/schedules and opportunity to meet other and farmers before events would be required to have better communication and understanding in relation to their tasks and role distribution. Furthermore, it is also required for designers to hold relationship with local community in order to actualize their packaging design.

        슬로시티 관광개발에 대한 지역주민과 관광객의 인식비교 -슬로시티 증도를 중심으로-

        This study is to find the ideal orientation for slow tourism development, a movement which is rapidly growing in Korea. By revealing the similarity and difference in cognition and needs of slow tourism development between resident and tourists, this study will provide practical suggestions for better consequence. The result of this empirical investigation shows that residents are more interested in the development of agricultural products and improvement in living environment, while tourists have bigger interests in experiential tourism attractions and programs. However, local resident and tourists both have great expectations toward government`s long term planning in providing experts and resident`s education. They tend to be less interested in building their own associations to operate and manage the tourism industry. As a result, this study suggests that deliberate planning on education of slow tourism for residents and tourist is the most important requirement for successful slow tourism development at this current moment.

        여가 소비와 문화자본의 관계 -여가 스포츠 활동을 중심으로-

        본 연구에서는 부르디외의 문화자본론을 바탕으로 하여, 사회계급, 경제자본, 문화자본과 그 외 개인의 사회적 위치와 특성을 나타낼 수 있는 요인들이 스포츠 활동과 어떠한 상관성을 가지고 있으며, 또한 이론적 논의에서 고찰되었던 여러 가지 현상들과 관계들이 우리 사회에서 어떻게 나타나고 있는지를 대응일치 분석과, 교차분석을 통해 설명하고자 하였다. 자료의 분석 결과를 토대로 연구의 결과를 살펴보면, 계급, 문화자본, 경제자본 등은 스포츠 활동의 계층화에 어느 정도 상응 하고 있는 것으로 보인며, 이론적 고찰을 통해 논의 되었던 제 현상들을 현실적으로 표현 하고 있는 것으로 보인다. 특히, 하위계층으로 갈수록 스포츠 활동에 참여하지 않는다는 경향은, 육체적 노동이 많은 경우와 시간적 여유가 많이 없는 이들이 스포츠 활동을 하지 않게 되는 현상을 단적으로 보여주는 것이라 할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 문화적 경제적 자본이 많은 집단과 골프의 연계성과 자본이 많지 않은 집단과 야구, 축구 등과의 강한 연결고리는 각각의 스포츠 활동이 집단 또는 개인의 사회적 위치를 나타내는 기호로서 작용하고 있음을 보여주고 있다. 반면, 나이와 여가소비의 비율 등은 기대와는 달리, 뚜렷한 계층화 또는 스포츠 활동의 차별성을 보여주지 못하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. This study is to examine how different social and individual variables affect cultural consumption, particularly the participation in sports activities, in Korea. Beside economic and cultural capital suggested by Bourdieu, various elements such as age, the ratio of spending for leisure against household income, are considered as potential variable to have influence on the participation in a specific sports activity. In order to achieve this research goal, we conduct survey and multi-dimensional approaches. The analysis proceeds in two stage. first, it applies correspondence analysis to identify the structure of consumption and its relationship with potential variables. By displaying the array of different sports activities and the values of each element on diagram according to the choices made by the respondents, it shows the distance between each activity and variables, which could represent the relationships. Second, we conduct crosstab analysis to verify the different choice toward participation of sports activity among various social groups. The finding shows that the participations in sports activities are influenced by various social and individual elements, and some sports activities are closely related to particular social class. Therefore, this research argue that particular sports activity is playing a role to discriminate social class as an symbol. this research conclude that the specific patterns of consuming leisure suggested by Bourdieu and other scholars are shown in Korea.

        도시민의 여가소비와 주말 여가 활동의 관계

        This study explored the relationships among leisure behavior, leisure consumption, and socio-demographic characteristics of leisure participants under the mass leisure environments. This study defines mass leisure as everyday leisure activities, habits, and tastes shared by many people. Focusing on weekend and holiday leisure activities, this study tried to make visualization and interpretation of relationships empirically, The results of empirical investigation with multiple correspondence analysis and cross tabulation show that most frequently selected leisure activity for holiday was passive activities such as taking rest and watching TV and that household income showed having distinct influence on leisure expenditure. Nevertheless, this investigation does not result that the amount of leisure expenditure is not define the aggressive or passive leisure behavior. It also implies that the holiday leisure behavior and leisure expenditures would be affected by the leisure orientation, personal value of leisure, and personal preference rather than by social and economic status of respondents.
