N/A Background/Aims: We selected 415 cases of gastric cancer involving less than two thirds of the stomach, on which more than R2 lymph node dissections were performed, from 1987 to 1991 at National Medical Center. Methods: An analysis was made to confirm the relation of the pattem of regional lympn node metastasis to the location of tumor, depth of invasion, and Borrmann type, which might contribute to determining lymph node dissection in clinical practice. Results: Male predominated(1.9:l) and the mean age of the patients was S5.7 11.9. Years the rnte of lymph node metastasis was related to the depth of invasion in every location of tumors(p<0.001). The rate of lymph n<xle metastasis was high in cancers involving lower part of stomach(p<0.00l). And tbe rate was related to the Borrmann type(p<0.00l). Conclusions: We concluded that the rate of thc lymph node metastasis was high according to the depth of invasion, and in cases of involving lower one thirds of stomach, and in Borrmann type IV. Wide lymph node dissection is neccssary in case\ of higher rate of lymph node metastasis for adequate surgical resection and accurate staging. (Korean J Gastroenterol 1994;27:39-45).
OH radical Monitoring Technologies for AOP(Advanced Oxidation Process)

This study has been conducted to investigate OH radical monitoring technologies far AOP (Advanced Oxidation Process). OH radicals can be measured directly or indirectly through EPR, Hydrogen peroxide method and probe compound such as pCBA which are well known as radical monitoring techniques. Among the various AOPs, we focused on the applicability of EPR technique for OH radical monitoring in Ultrasonic irradiation process. EPR method which is a valuable tool and has a high sensitivity far radical measuring. Our study was performed with 20 kHz ultrasonic processor in 20 ml DMPO (80 mM) solution. EPR spectrum in our experiment has peak height ratio of 1:2:2:1 and hyperfine constants aN = aN = 1.49 mT and g-value 2.0054.
진공증착한 ZnTe 다결정 박막의 구조적 특성과 광학적 특성

Structural and optical properties of polycrystalline ZnTe films, deposited at various substrate temperatures by vacuum evaporation, have been investigated by X-ray diffraction and transmission. The grain size was increased with increasing substrate temperature. The allowed direct band gap and the indirect band gap were found to be 2.25 ∼ 2.27 eV and 2.05 ∼ 2.20 eV, respectively. The absorption coefficient, the extinction coefficient and the refractive index were obtained as a function of the incident photon energy. Near the band edge, the absorption coefficient and the extinction coefficient were about 10^3 ∼ 10^4 ㎝^1 and 10^-1 ∼ 10^-3, respectively. And the refractive index was 2.8 ∼ 3.2.

We'd performed the upper gastrointestinal study for a total of 10,047 insureds-male 5,919 female 4,128 persons-who were examined at medical department of Dae Han Kyoyuk Insurance Co., from August, 1986 to December, 1989. The results on duodenal ulcer were as follows; 1) Duodenal ulcer was found in 138 cases(1.37%) among the 10,047 insureds. 2) In all 138 cases who have duodenal ulcer, duodenal ulcer was found in 112 cases(1.89%) among the 5,919 insureds of male and in 26 cases(0.63%) among the 4,128 insureds of female. The incidence of duodenal ulcer in male was higher than in female. 3) The possessing rate of duodenal ulcer is 1.28% in 20 yrs, 1.24% in 30 yrs, 1.72% in 40 yrs, 1.21% in 50 yrs, 0.48% in 60 yrs. 4) The possessing rate of duodenal ulcer in male is 2.24% in 20 yrs, 1.78% in 30 yrs, 1.99% in 40 yrs, 2.05% in 50 yrs, 0.91% in 60 yrs and in female, 0.52% in 20 yrs, 0.48% in 30 yrs, 1.20% in 40 yrs, 0.2% in 50 yrs. 5) Coexistent lesion with duodenal ulcer were found in 19 cases; one case of esophageal diverticulum, one case of gastric diverticulum, one case of duodenal diverticulum, tow cases of gastric ulcer, six cases of gastritis, five cases of duodenitis, two cases of gastroduodenitis, one case of pseudodiverticulum.

We'd performed the upper gastrointestinal study for a total of 1,033 insureds-male 630, female 403 persons-who were examined at medical dept. of Dae Han Kyoyuk Insurance Co., Ltd., from August, 1986 to January, 1987. The results on diverticulum were as follows; 1. The incidence rate of duodenal diverticulum is exceptionally higher than esophageal diverticulum. 2. In all of 53 insured who have duodenal diverticulum and esophageal diverticulum, there was little difference between male and female in the incidence rate of diverticulum; 5.08% in male, 5.21% in female. 3. The possessing rate of both diverticulums increased by age regardless of sex. ; 0.71% in 20yrs, 2.12% in 30yrs, 11.11% in 40yrs, 12.75% in 50yrs, 30.43% in 60yrs more. 4. The possessing rate of both diverticulums in male is 0% in 20yrs, 1.97% in 30yrs, 7.21% in 40yrs, 15.09% in 50yrs, 27.27% in 60yrs more and in female, 1.16% in 20yrs, 2.40% in 30yrs, 7.87% in 40yrs, 10.20% in 50yrs, 33.33% in 60yrs more. 5. Those who have duodenal diverticulum 47 insureds felt the following subjective symptoms; uncomfortable 8.51%, heartburn and tingling each 4.26%, sore throat 2.13%and esophageal diverticulum's heartburn 16.67%. 6. There occurred the following complications in 47 insureds with duodenal diverticulum-gastric polyp, erosive gastritis, antral gastritis, cascade stomach, fatty liver, polyp in GB and choledocholithiasis; each 2.13% and cholelithiasis 6.38% and cascade stomach. 7. All duodenal diverticulum occurred in duodenal inlet. 8. The number of lesion was single in all esophageal diverticulum, but there was each one case with 2 lesions and 3 lesions in duodenal diverticulum.
PLUTO SDR 플랫폼을 활용한 빔포밍 기반 RF 무선전력전송 테스트베드 구현

In this paper, by using a multi-PLUTO SDR platform, we implement a beamforming wireless power transmission test bed capable of beam alignment for the receiving end by calculating the location information of the target device (power receiving platform) in a situation where power transmitting and receiving platforms do not know each other's location information. Experiments were conducted in a laboratory environment based on the built test bed, and the experimental results were compared with the simulation results to confirm both whether the testbed was effectively configured and the performance effectiveness of the test bed. 본 논문에서는 다중 PLUTO SDR 플랫폼을 활용하여 전력 송수신단이 서로의 위치 정보를 모르는 상황에서 타겟 디바이스(전력 수신단)의 위치 정보를 계산하여 수신단에 대한 빔 정렬이 가능한 빔포밍 무선전력전송 테스트베드를 구현하였다. 구축한 테스트베드를 기반으로 실험실 환경에서 실험을 진행하였으며 실험결과를 시뮬레이션 결과와 비교 분석하여 테스트베드가 효과적으로 구성되었는지 그리고 테스트베드의 성능 유효성을 확인하였다.
성장 전 GaAs 기판의 열에칭 온도 변화에 따른 ZnS 에피층의 구조적, 광학적 특성

성장 전 GaAs기판의 열에칭 온도 변화에 따른 ZnS 에피층의 특성을 최초로 조사하기 위하여 450~$660^{\circ}C$로 열에칭한 기판 위에 hot wall epitaxy법으로 ZnS 에피층을 성장하였다. ZnS 에피층의 이중결정요동곡선의 반치폭은 기판의 열에칭 온도가 50$0^{\circ}C$와 $600^{\circ}C$일 때 가장 작았다. 그러나 ZnS 에피층의 photoluminescence(PL)특성은 기판의 열에칭 온도가 $500^{\circ}C$ 보다는 $600^{\circ}C$에서 더 양호하였다. 그러므로 고품질의 ZnS 에피층을 성장하기 위한 GaAs기판의 최적 열에칭 온도는 $600^{\circ}C$임을 알았다. 이러한 결과로부터 GaAs 기판의 열에칭은 $600^{\circ}C$에서 ZnS 에피층의 결정성과 PL특성에 좋은 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다. To investigate the thermal preheating effect of the GaAs substrate exerted on the ZnS epilayers for the first time, ZnS epilayers were grown on the GaAs (100) substrate by hot wall epitaxy. The thermal preheating temperature was $450^{\circ}C$~$660^{\circ}C$. The full width at half maximum values of double crystal rocking curve were the smallest for the ZnS epilayers grown on the GaAs thermally preheated at around both $500^{\circ}C$ and $600^{\circ}C$. However, photoluminescence characteristics of ZnS epilayers were better at $600^{\circ}C$ than at $500^{\circ}C$. Therefore, it was shown that the optimum preheating temperature of the GaAs substrate for the growth of high quality ZnS epilayer was around $600^{\circ}C$. From these experimental results, it was shown that the crystal quality and the PL properties of ZnS epilayers were enhanced for the GaAs substrates thermally preheated at $600^{\circ}C$.
