코골이의 역학 및 측방두부규격방사선학적 특징에 관한 연구(청년층을 중심으로)

The Purpose of this study were to examine the epidemiology of snoring, its associated factors and anatomic features on cephalogram according to the frequency of snoring in young adults. Epidemiological survey using questionaire was made to the 438 students (320 male, 118 female) aged 19 - 28 years, and cephalometric study of anatomic features on 14 habitual snorers, 31 occasional snorers and 30 non-snorers among men was done. The obtained results were as follows : 1. The prevalence snoring was 11.4% in the young adults, 15.0% in male and 1.7% female. 2. Of the young adults, 3.7% were habitual snorers and 7.8% were occasional snorers. 3. Smoking and drinking increased the frequency of snoring(p < 0.01), but didn't affec the differences in the frequency between habitual and occasional snoring. 4. No significant correlation was made between the frequency of snoring and the factors such as overweight, nasal disease and hypertension. 5. In the cephalometric comparison between snorers and non-snorers, snorers had inferiorly positioned hyoid bone(p < 0.05), longer soft palate(p < 0.01), steeper soft palate(p < 0.05) and narrower nasopharyngeal(p < 0.05) and oropharyngeal(p < 0.001) airway. 6. In the cephalometric comparison between habitual snorers and occasional snorers, habitual snorers had narrow nasopharyngeal airway(p < 0.05).

Neurofibroma is benign neurogenic tumor originated from nerve tissue-Schwann cell, fibroblast, perineural cell. They have no sexual predirection and generally no symptom. Neurofibroma is classified to solitary type and multiple type and is rare in oral resion. They located in soft tissue of tongue, lip, palate and oral mucosa in form of sessile and pedunculated mass and are rare intraosseous region. In solitary type, complete excision is the choice of treatment due to their rare recurrence rate. Objectives. The purpose of this study was to evaluate mandibular third molars as risk factors for angle fracture in a patient sample with fractured mandible. Materials and methods. The medical records and panoramic radiographs of 107 patients with mandibular fractures were examined. The presence and absence and degree of impaction of the lower third molar were assessed for each patient and related to the occurrence of fracture of the mandibular angle. Data were also collected for age, sex and mechanism of injury. Data were analyzed by a chisquare statistics and Student t test. Result. The incidence of mandibular angle fracture was found to be significantly greater when a lower third molar was present(p < 0.05) especially at class Ⅲ state.(p < 0.05)(by Pell & Gregory system) Of the 78 patients with a lower third molar, 46(58.97%) had angle fractures. Of the 29 without a lower third molar, 24(82.76%) had not angle fractures. Conclusion. The result of this study showed that the mandibular angle that have a lower third molar is more susceptible to fracture when exposed to an impact than an angle without an lower third molar.
무선환경에서 HTTP 적응적 스트리밍의 안정성 및 반응성 향상을 위한 다중경로 기반의 대역폭 측정 기술

고품질 비디오 스트리밍 서비스에 대한 수요가 증가하면서 다중경로 전송 기술 기반의 HTTP 적응적 스트리밍에 대한 연구가 증가하고 있다. 무선환경에서 다중경로 기반의 스트리밍 기술은 전송 방식과 가용 대역폭 측정 방식에 따라 가용 대역폭의 정확한 예측이 불가능하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 무선환경에서 HTTP 적응적 스트리밍의 안정성 및 반응성 향상을 위한 다중경로 기반의 전송 스케줄링 기술과 가용 대역폭 측정 기술을 제안한다. 다중경로 기반의 전송 스케줄링 기술은 HTTP 적응적 스트리밍의 성능을 향상시키기 위한 블록기반의 전송 기법을 나타내며, 네트워크의 급격한 변화에 반응성을 향상시키기 위하여 버퍼 상태를 기반으로 요청 구간을 동적으로 조절한다. 제안하는 가용 대역폭 측정 기술은 무선환경의 빈번하고 급격한 가용 대역폭의 변화를 예측하기 위해 블록기반의 가용 대역폭 측정 방식과 세그먼트 기반의 가용 대역폭 측정방식을 동시에 이용하여 안정성을 향상시킨다. As demand for high-quality video streaming services increases, researches on Hyper-Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP) adaptive streaming based on multipath transmission have experienced a continual rise. In the wireless environment, multipath-based streaming cannot be accurately estimated according to transmission scheme and bandwidth estimation scheme. In this paper, we propose a multipath-based HTTP adaptive streaming and available bandwidth estimation scheme to improve stability and responsiveness in wireless environments. Multipath-based HTTP adaptive streaming is a block-based scheduling scheme for improving the performance of HTTP adaptive streaming. The scheme dynamically adjusts the request period based on the buffer state in order to improve the responsiveness to the rapid change in the network. The available bandwidth estimation scheme enhances stability by using the block and segment based available bandwidth measurement to predict frequent and sudden changes of bandwidth in a wireless environment.
HTTP 적응적 스트리밍에서 끊김 없는 대화형 멀티미디어 스트리밍을 위한 전송 기법

최근 네트워크 기술과 모바일 기기의 발달로 인해 네트워크를 효율적으로 사용하여 비디오 스트리밍 서비스를 제공하기 위해 HTTP 적응적 스트리밍 서비스가 주목 받게 되었다. 사용자 중심 방송에 대한 관심이 증가함에 따라 대화형 멀티미디어에 대한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 대화형 멀티미디어 서비스는 사용자가 선택하는 시나리오에 따라 영상을 재생하는 방식이다. 기존의 HTTP 적응적 스트리밍 방식으로 대화형 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공하면 사용자가 시나리오를 선택하는 시점에 따라 시나리오 변환에 의한 지연 및 버퍼 언더플로우를 유발하여 사용자 체감 품질을 저하시킨다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 끊김 없는 대화형 멀티미디어 스트리밍 서비스를 제공하기 위해 HTTP 적응적 스트리밍 기반의 대화형 멀티미디어 전송 기술을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 대화형 멀티미디어 스트리밍 서비스를 위한 시스템 구조와 프리패칭 기법이다. Because of the explosive growth of mobile devices and development of network technologies, HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) adaptive streaming has become a new trend in video delivery to provide efficient multimedia streaming services. As interest in personalized broadcasting grows, the study of interactive multimedia has been actively pursued. The interactive multimedia service is a method of playing media according to a scenario selected by the user. Providing the interactive multimedia service with the existing HTTP adaptive streaming causes switching delay and buffer underflow according to the point in time when the user selects the scenario while the client streams the interactive multimedia and therefore decreases the user QoE (Quality of Experience). In this paper, we propose an adaptive streaming scheme for interactive multimedia service in HTTP adaptive streaming to provide seamless playback. We design the architecture and prefetching scheme for interactive multimedia streaming.
