Home network is a technology that provides possibilities of monitioring/controling/multiating-recognition between optional home network machines in residenses. Currently, home network or other networks like entertainment, residential electronic networks are jumbled together with heterogeneous networks in a rampaging condition. In a reality of high expectation for home networks system like the mutual application for various machines, we are required to have the unification technology for conveniences to satisfy expectations. This thesis reflects how to develop Java applications or mutual products based on convenient interfaces actually that process various sensors which create real time data stream in Java platform through Java based sensor data-stream processing embedded middlware desing and realization in real time.

A computer code named 'MGA_SCOUPE' has been developed to determine an optimal fuel-loading pattern for the nuclear reactor. The optimization goal in this code is (1) the minimization of the deviations in the power peaking factors both at BOC and EOC. and (2) t h e maximization of the average burnup ratio at EOC of the total fuel assemblies. The developed code automatically performs lots of searches for the globally optimum solution based upon the Modified Genetic Algorithm(MGA). Through the application of the MGA-SCOUPE to the KORI 4-4 cycle reactor model, we have obtained a new better fuel loading pattern compared with the ones obtained by the existing codes such as SCOUPE and ROCS. Among the several satisfactory results, two dominant improvements can be summarized as follows; - The avg. burnup ratio can be relatively increased by approx. 45%. and - The standard deviation of the power peaking factor of the reactor both at BOC and EOC can be relatively reduced by approx. 25.8% and 18.7% respectively. In addition to the technical improvements as above. the MGA-SCOUPE has removed the user-dependency problem occuring at the SCOUPE in the optimal loading pattern searches, and made the searching process fully automated.
모바일 그리드에서 데이터마이닝을 이용한 효율적인 사용자 패턴 연구

The purpose of this study is to make effective mobile grid considered general environment, which can be summarized as irregular mobility, service exploration, data sharing, variety of machines, limit to the battery duration, etc. The data was extracted from the Dartmouth College. We analysed mobile use pattern of a specific group and applied pattern using hybrid method. As a result, we could adjust infra usage effectively and appropriately and cost cutting and increase satisfaction of user. In this study, by applying weighting method based on access time interval, we analysed use pattern added time variation with association rule during users in mobile grid environment. We proposed more stable way to manage patterns in a mobile grid environment that is being used as a hybrid form to process the data value received from the server in real time. Further studies are needed to get appropriate use pattern by group using use patterns of various groups.
핵연료 최적 장전모형 탐색을 위한 GA-SA 혼합형 프로그램에 관한 연구

In this study. several searching algorithms such as the SA(simulated annealing). GA(genetic algorithm) and their variance have been reviewed and implemented in C programming language for the searching modules for the optimal fuel loading pattern. These modules have been interfaced with three simple core calculation codes written in Fortran programming language and tested for their performance. As a result, a hybrid searching algorithm based upon the GA and SA has been developed to supplement each algorithm's drawbacks. This hybrid one has shown the best performance among the tested ones. In this hybrid search engine. a new cooling schedule, i.e. the cooling schedule with reheating stages has been also devised to improve the usual simple banner cooling schedule' of the SA.
Evaluation on the Computational Performance of the Bubble Visualization Program

In this study. the EIT (Electrical Impedance Tomography) technique is applied for the two-phase flow visualization. Using the conventional EIT image reconstruction algorithms, however. the processing time increases rapidly as we try to get a higher spatial resolution. In order to overcome this problem, we added an adaptive mesh grouping method to the conventional EIT reconstruction algorithm. Performance test on the proposed mesh grouping method shows promising results that we can significantly reduce the image reconstruction time without sacrificing the spatial resolution. The mesh grouping method is found to be very effective especially in bubble distribution measurements.

Computer Simulation of Anisotropic Turbulent Flows in Nuclear Subchannels

The prediction of thermal hydraulic field in nuclear subchannels is important to the design and the safety analysis of nuclear reactor. The accurate prediction requires the detailed knowledge of the flow structure. which is complicate due to anisotropic turbulent phenomenon. The flow pulsation phenomenon in rod bundle flow fields has been proposed as one of main causes of anisotropic eddy diffusion. In this study. the anisotropy factor for the fluid flows through rod bundles is estimated with the scale analysis on the flow pulsation phenomenon. Based upon the assumption that the transport process is composed of isotropic turbulent motion (turbulent motion without the flow pulsation) and flow pulsation. the scale relation for the anisotropy factor is derived. The derived scale relation is compared with published experimental results and show good agreements. Also, an anisotropy factor model for the numerical calculation of the turbulent flow field in rod bundles is suggested based on the derived anisotropy factor scale relation.
