본 연구에서는 전해증착법과 열처리를 통하여 ITO 투명전극 위에 고밀도의 ZnO 막대구조를 형성하는 방법을 조사하였다. 증착과정에서 Zn(OH)2와 ZnO가 함께 형성되는 것을 고려할 때 전기화학적 ZnO 증착효율은 33% 이하를 나타내었다. 500 ℃ 열처리 후 ZnO는 (002)를 선택적으로 갖는 결정구조를 형성하며, 나노막대 구조의 성장속도는 0.986 μm/hr로 측정되었다. 그리고 전기화학적으로 제조한 ZnO 막대를 염료감응 태양전지의 전극으로 사용시 측정된 전지효율은 0.21%로서 태양전지용 전극으로서의 가능성을 확인하였다.
어린이 일상활동구강영향(COIDP) 한국어판의 타당성 평가

Objectives. The purpose of this study was to validate a Korean version of the Oral Impacts on Daily Performances for children (COIDP) inventory. Methods. A total of 324 fifth-grade schoolchildren was selected by cluster sampling. A questionnaire including items on COIDP was completed and information on dental caries was collected. Statistical analysis was performed by non-parametric methods. Results. Internal reliability and test-retest reliability were assessed as reasonable with the Chronbach`s alpha of 0.67 and intraclass coefficient of 0.74, respectively. The concurrent validity was verified by the significant association of COIDP score to self-reported oral health, satisfaction about oral health and appearance. The discriminative validity was confirmed by the ability in distinguishing groups with and without dental treatment, dental problems, and decayed teeth. An exploratory factor analysis divided the eight COIDP items into three factors. Conclusions. The Korean version of COIDP is a valid and reliable inventory to assess oral health-related quality of life among Korean children.

Four-probe device of single ZnO nanowire was fabricated by electron beam lithography. Electrical characterizations in a two-probe and a four-probe configuration with a back-gate were carried out to clarify the relative contribution of the contact and the intrinsic part in a ZnO nanowire. I-V characteristic in four-probe measurement showed an ohmic behavior with a high conductivity, 100 S/cm, which was better than those of two-probe measurement by 10 times. At the same values of the current between two-probe and four-probe, the net voltage applied inside the nanowire were extracted with calculated voltages at the contact. Four-probe current-gate voltage characteristics showed bigger tendencies than those of two-probe measurement at low temperatures, indicating the reduced gate dependence in two-Probe measurements by the existence of the contact resistance.

Objectives : We conducted an epidemiologic survey to evaluate the effect of the aircraft noise exposure on the health of the residents near the military airbases in Pyeongtaek City. Methods : The evaluation of environmental noise level, questionnaire survey, and health examination were performed for 917 residents. The study population consisted of four groups: subjects who lived in the village close to the fighter airbase (high exposure), subjects who lived along the course of fighters (intermediate exposure), and subjects near a helicopter airbase, and the control group. Results : The prevalence of the aircraft noise related accident and irritable bowel syndrome in the exposure groups were higher than that of the control group. The risks of noise induced hearing loss, hypertension and diabetes mellitus were higher in the exposed groups than in the control group. The prevalence of anxiety disorder and primary insomnia were higher in the exposed groups than in the control group. Prevalence odd ratios of the risk for primary insomnia after adjusting age, sex, agricultural noise, and occupation were 4.03 [95% confidence interval (95% Cl) 1.56-10.47] for the subject near the helicopter airbase, 1.23 (95% Cl 0.40-3.76) for those intermediately exposed to fighter noise, and 4.99 (95% Cl 2.14-11.64) for those highly exposed to fighter noise. Conclusions : The results of the present study suggest that the aircraft noise may have adverse effects on hearing function, cardiovascular health and mental health. Therefore, it seems to be needed to take proper measures including the control of the aircraft noise and the management of the exposed people's health.
