바이오센서 응용을 위한 탄소나노튜브 복합체 전극의 개발

본 논문에서는 전기화학적 바이오센서 응용을 위해 강산과 초음파 처리를 이용하여 분산한 탄소나노튜브(CNT) 복합체 전극 제작방법과 그에 따라 향상된 전기화학적 특성을 나타내었다. CNT 복합체 전극을 제작하기 위해 먼저 PET 기판 위에 Ti/Au를 증착하여 패티닝한 후, 직경 200 ㎛의 전극 영역을 정의하였다. CNT의 길이를 일정하게 하고 끝단에 키복실산 그룹을 형성하기 위해 3단계의 화학 처리와 초음파 처리를 통해 shortening, soaking 및 incubating하여 CNT를 분산시켰다. 분산된 CNT 3 ㎎을 polyimide 20 ㎖ 재분산한 CNT-polyimide 혼합 용액을 앞서 정의된 Au 전극 위에 떨어뜨린 후 자연건조시켜 CNT-polyimide 복합체 전극을 제작하였다. 제작된 기능화된 CNT 복합체 전극의 특성을 분석하기 위해 -0.2 ~ 0.6 V의 범위에서 cyclic voltammogram을 측정한 결과, Au 전극보다 CNT 복합체 전극에서의 피크 전류가 약 1.8배 증가하였다.

The authors have used a B-mode real-time sector scanner and a 10-MHz probe for measurement of the skin thickness at 21 different sites in healthy Koreans. Subjects consisted of 35 adults(17 males, 18 females) who were divided into three age groups .' young(20 39 years, 12 subjects), middle-aged(40 59 years, 13 subjects), and old(over 60 years, 10 subjects). The results were as follows. 1, The measurements of the skin thickness in examined sites varied from 1.99 to 4.59 milimeters . flexor aspect of the upper arm, dorsum of the hand, extensor aspect of the forearm and flexor aspect of the forearm were thinner, and heel, upper back, metatarsus were thicker than other sites. 2, The skin thickness in males was generally thicker than that in females '. cheek, extensor aspect of the thigh were highly significantly thicker (p<0.01), and chest, upper back, lower back, flexor aspect of the upper arm and extensor aspect of the lower leg were significantly thicker(p< 0.05) in males than in females, 3. Predicting performance of air conditioning in thermal environment is very important to improve energy efficiency. Even the energy may include the effort, process, cost and much more time. In this simulation, the boundary condition equivalent to the actual housing environment with latent heat needs to be set accurately to solve the real heat transfer problem using 3D CFD transient analysis coupled with 1D cycle. As the result, air conditioning performance predicted by co-simulation is ±5% accuracy level comparing with the actual test value. It will effect on the development process and project planing.

Objective : Recent studies indicate that the deposition of β-amyloid (Aβ) is related in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer`s disease (AD), but the underlying mechanism is still not clear.Method : To investigate the potential cellular functions of APP and water extract of the JangwonHwangagambang (JWHG), we use as in vitro model, neuro 2A cells were treated with either JWHG or its oriental medicines, and the effect in APP expression was determined by MTT and LDH assay. JWHG have been shown to be neuroprotective in different model systems. We asked whether JWHG treatment would influence cell survival and AD-like pathology in APP-induced neuronal cells.Result : JWHG and water extracts of some oriental medicine has attenuated high cell death in vitro. JWHG-treated cells increased percentage of cell survival more longly than controls. JWHG had significantly increas neurite outgrowth in the as compared to control cells. Conclusion : These results suggest that JWHG prevent APP-induced neurotoxicity through attenuating oxidative stress, and may be useful as potential therapeutic agents for AD.

Bakanae (foolish seedling) disease caused by Gibberella fujikuroi creates serious problems in the foremost rice growing countries. This study was conducted to identify new resistance genetic sources to Bakanae disease. Bioassay showed that 11 varieties including Gwangmyeongbyeo, Hawn, Wonseadaesoo, Erguailai etc. were resistant to bakanae disease among 254 rice germplasm. Mismatch ratio between phenotype on bakanae disease bioassay and allele type of RM9, a SSR marker closely linked the bakanae disease resistant QTL, qBK1, were 38.3%. These results suggest that RM9 might be used for selecting qBK1, but it cannot be used for wide range of rice germplasm. Resistant germplasm in this study might be have resistant genes different from qBK1. The eleven varieties resistant to selected in this study will be used to identify new resistant alleles or genes to improve bakanae disease resistance in rice.

The purpose of the present study is to improve the accuracy of the dew condensation analysis in a simplified duct through a quantitative comparison of the experimental results and the numerical results and to study the quantification schemes. Heat transfer calculation has been conducted for the heat sink attached to two crossing thermal ducts with different flow temperature respectively. For the parametric study on the orientation of the heat sink location, the numerical results could have similar match with experimental results only for the heat sink facing up(bottom location). The amount of dew condensation was calculated by numerical simulation using relative humidity in the air.
