        In this study, ion-exchange method was used to remove ammonia, nitrate and phosphate from water in a single continuous up-flow reactor; 28 cm in height, 1.4 cm in diameter. Different parameter effects on removal efficiencies were investigated; different amount of ion exchange resin of (5, 10, 15, and 20 ml); different flow rates of influent (2, 4, 6, and 8 L/h); different initial concentrations (1, 5, 10, and 15mg/L). In addition regeneration of the used ion exchange resin were carried out, and the effects of regeneration were also studied. Nitrate, ammonia, and phosphate removal efficiencies increased with decreasing flow rate and initial concentrations. When the amounts of ion exchange resin increase, higher removal efficiencies were obtained. Nitrate removal efficiency was higher than that of phosphate under the same conditions. The more regeneration of ion exchange resin lowered removal efficiencies. Removal efficiencies due to regeneration were reduced by 5-14% with nitrate, 7-8% with ammonia, and 6-10% with phosphate.

      • 足三里白芷藥鍼이 collagen-induced arthritis에 미치는 영향

        Objective & Methods : The purpose of this study is to observe the effects of Coicis Semen Herbal-acupuncture solution(CS-HAS) at Joksamni(ST36) on collagen Ⅱ induced arthritis in DBA/1J mice. The author performed several experimental items to analyze arthritis evaluation, change of weight, spleen size and stenosis rate, change of cytokine level, IgG, IgM and anti-collagen Ⅱ, change of immunocyte count, histological change of CIA mouse joint. Results : 1. In the CS-HA, arthritis index, the incidence of arthritis and joint edema were decreased. 2. In the CS-HA, there were no weight loss. Spleen size, spleen shape, stenosis late and the edema and transformation of joint were low and similarly maintained as normal group. 3. In CS-HA, the levels of IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α, IFN-γ, IgG, IgM and anti-collagen Ⅱ in serum of CIA mice and the level of IFN-γ, IL-4, IL-10 and in CIA mouse spleen cell culture were significantly decreased. 4. In the CS-HA, the expression ratio of CD3e^(+) to CD45^(+), CD4^(+) to CD8^(+) and CD4^(+)/CD8^(+) cell ratio were similarly maintained as normal group in spleen cell culture, and CD4^(+)/CD25^(+) and CD45^(+)/CD69^(+) cell ratio were decreased in lymph nodes, and CD3^(+)/CD69^(+) and CD11b^(+)/Gr-1^(+) cell ratio were decreased in synovium. 5. In the histological study, the cartilage destruction and synovial cell proliferation and the collagen fiber destruction were decreased in the CS-HA. Conclusion : From the result above, the results suggest that CS-HA at ST36 has significant effect on collagen-induced arthritis, and to be put to practical use in the future rheumatoid arthritis clinic Key words : Coicis Semen, Herbal-Acupuncture, ST36, Rheumatoid Arthritis(RA), Collagen-induced Arthritis(CIA)

      • 군 조직내 상사의 변혁적 리더십이 부하의 임파워먼트에 미치는 효과

        이 논문은 일선 군부대의 핵심 지휘자인 중대장을 대상으로 그들의 변혁적 리더십이 부하들의 임파워먼트에 미치는 효과 및 리더십과 임파워먼트의 관계가 병사들의 복무기간에 따른 차이를 검증하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 강원도 ○○지역의 육군에서 근무하는 병사 200명을 대상으로 설문 조사한 결과를 바탕으로 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 설문은 과거 연구에 의해 검증된 항목들로 채택하여 구성되었으며 신뢰도 검증을 위해 크롬바하 알파값을 사용하였고, 가설을 증명하기 위해 다중회귀분석과 이원분산분석을 사용 하였다. 설문조사 결과는 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 첫째, 변혁적 리더십과 임파워먼트 사이의 관계에 대한 가설을 증명하기 위해, 다중회귀분석을 사용한 결과 카리스마가 자율성, 자기효능감, 영향력과 부정적으로 연관되어 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 그리고 개별적 배려는 의미감, 자율성, 자기효능감 그리고 영향력에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 그러나 지적 자극 그리고 고무적 리더십에서는 의미감, 자율성, 자기효능감, 영향력과 같은 모든 임파워먼트의 요인들은 그다지 크게 연계되어 있지 않았다. 둘째, 변혁적 리더십 그리고 임파워먼트 사이의 관계에 병사들의 복무기간 조절효과가 미치는 영향에 대한 가설을 증명하기 위해, 이원분산분석을 사용 하였다. 변혁적 리더십(카리스마, 개별적배려, 지적 자극, 고무적리더십)은 복무기간과 임파워먼트의 상호작용에 부분적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 장기복무 병사들에게는 카리스마가 자율성, 자기효능감에서 개별적배려가 자율성, 영향력에서 지적자극이 자율성에서 모두 긍정적으로 연계되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 단기복무 병사들의 경우 카리스마가 자율성에서 개별적 배려가 자율성에서 모두 부정적으로 연계되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과가 시사하는 점은 가설 1의 검증결과 지휘관(자)의 개별적 배려가 임파워먼트 전 요소에 긍정적 영향을 미치며 특히 영향력에 미치는 효과가 크게 나타났다는 것은 지휘관(자)의 개별적 배려가 부하를 감화, 감동 시켜 부하에게 큰 영향력을 미쳐 부하를 임파워먼트 시킨다 할 수 있겠다. 또한 카리스마가 부하들에게 자율성을 상실 시키고 자기효능감을 떨어트려 영향력을 감소시키는 결과를 불러일으키게 되므로 위계질서가 확립된 군 조직에서의 카리스마는 무조건 적이기 보다는 교육훈련 및 전투준비와 같은 임무중심의 과업에서 선별적인 적용이 필요할 것으로 추정된다. 이를 복무기간의 조절 효과(가설 2)로 재 분석해 보면 장기복무자(1년 이상의 복무 병사)의 경우 지휘관(자)의 카리스마가 자율성 및 자기효능감에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 결과로 나타났는데, 이는 카리스마가 전체적 부정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나온 가설1의 분석 결과에 반비례하여 장기복무자에게는 어느 정도 지휘관(자)의 카리스마가 요구되는 것을 알 수 있었다. 반면 단기복무자(1년 미만의 복무 병사)에서는 카리스마와 개별적 배려가 모두 자율성에 부정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 단기복무자의 경우 입대 후 사회 환경과 다른 군조직의 특성에 대한 적응도 부족과 해당 지휘관과의 근무기간 부족에서 오는 자율성이 제한된 결과로 추정된다. ABSTRACT The effect of Transformational Leadership on the soldiers' Empowerment in the Army Kim, Tae-han Dept. of Security Graduate School of Sangji University This thesis is to review the relationship between leader's transformational leadership and empowerment, and the moderating effect of soldiers' tenure in the Army. In order to achieve above research purposes, the author gathered about 200 questionnaires from soldiers in the Army camp around Hong-chon, Kangwon province. To test hypothesis, this study used multiple regression analysis and two-way ANOVA method. Before testing, questionnaire items proposed by previous studies were generally adopted as items comprising variables in this study according to factor analysis on answers to questionnaire items. The results of survey data analysis can be outlined as follows: First, to test the hypothesis on the relationship between transformational leadership and empowerment, multiple regressional analysis was used. It was found that charisma is related positively with self-efficacy, self-determination, impact, and individual consideration is related positively with meaning, self-determination, self-efficacy, impact. But intellectual stimulation and inspirational motivation is not related significantly with all empowerme님nt factors(meaning, self-determination, self efficacy, impact) respectively. Second, to test the hypothesis on the moderating effect of soldiers' tenure on the relationship between transformational leadership and empowerment, hierarchical multiple regressional analysis was used. It was found that transformational leadership(charisma, individual consideration, intellectual stimulation, and inspirational motivation) partly has effect on empowerment while interacting with gender and tenure. In longer-term soldiers, charisma and individual consideration leadership appeared to be positively related with self-determination, but charisma and individual consideration leadership appeared to be negatively related with self-determination in shorter-term soldiers. Intellectual stimulation appeared to be positively related with self-determination only in longer-term soldiers, also charisma appeared to be positively related with self-efficacy only in longer-term soldiers and individual consideration appeared to be positively related with impact only in longer-term soldiers.

      • 漢字文化圈內의 敎育用漢字에 대한 比較硏究

        The main purpose of this study is as follows. First of all, it is to understand what position the Chinese characters hold presently in accordance to the linguistic speciality and educational environment of each country by considering how edt1Cational policy of Chinese characters of each country in the cultural area of Chinese characters has been changed. Especially, the purpose of this study is to provide necessary references on the establishment of educational Chinese characters and the education of Chinese characters in the future through comparison of Chinese characters for educational usage of each country under the situation of teaching established Chinese characters for educational usage from an educational perspective. Secondly, it is to investigate the actual conditions of how each country in the cultural area of Chinese characters educate common Chinese characters through educational courses at the elementary, middle, and high schools and to compare their contents. Also, it is to examine the conditions of treating Chinese characters in the Chinese and Japanese textbooks including Chinese character usage amongst the second foreign language textbooks. This study is a concrete examination as to while extent each textbook allocates Chinese characters and suggest advices and things needed which could be implemented in the Chinese characters with 1,800 of Chinese character for an educational usage for Korea. Thirdly, it is to compare 1,800 of educational Chinese characters of Korea newly revised in 2001 with the Chinese characters of each country. The concrete and comparative subjects are 2,500 Chinese characters in Chinese common usage, 1,945 Chinese characters in Japanese common usage, 4,808 Chinese characters in Taiwanese educational usage, and Chinese characters on North Korea common. It is to examine Chinese chi1ractcrs commonly used and not used by comparing differences between Korea and China, Korea and Japan, Korea and North Korea, Korea and Taiwan, among Korea, China and Japan, among Korea, China, Japan, North Korea and Taiwan. Based on the above results, it examined that the establishment of educational Chinese characters and reconsideration of Chinese characters education on the education spot is required in the interal aspect and the matter that countries in the cultural area of Chinese characters should jointly consider related to the problems about Chinese characters.

      • Oil in Water 유화의 용매 증발법에 의해 제조된 Poly(ε-caprolactone-b-ethylene glycol) 미립자의 약물 방출거동에 관한 연구

        ABA type amphiphilic triblock copolymers (PCEC) of poly(ethylen glycol) and poly(ε-caprolactone) were synthesized via anion ring opening polymerization of ε-caprolactone using poly(ethylene glycol) (Mn 6000, 10000) as an initiator in the presence of stannous octoate catalyst. Four block copolymers with segment lengths of 3k-6k-3k, 6k-6k-6k, 5k-10k-5k, and 10k-10k-10k (PCL-PEG-PCL) were prepared to evaluate the composition dependency with respects to particle size, drug loading and release profile. Naproxen, a potent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug with analgenic and antipyretic properties, and Carvedilol, an antihypertensive drug, were used as model drugs. Naproxen and carvedilol loaded PCEC microparticles were prepared by O/W emulsion and solvent evaporation method, respectively. The particle sizes of these microparticles were in the range of ca. 1.0∼2.6㎛. Of four PCEC microparticles, PCEC with segment length ratio of 1:2 (PEG:PCL) showed larger particle size due to its strong hydrophobic interaction with drug. It however, showed lower in its drug content due to aggregation between hydrophobic PCL and drug. In PBS solution of pH 7.4, most PCEC microparticles continuously released naproxen over 13 h up to 50∼60 %. In spite of increase in PCL moiety, the release rate was similar to others. The release behavior in buffer solution of pH 6.8 was not quite different from that in PBS solution of pH 7.4. In buffer solution of pH 1.2 however, initial burst was observed and as time passed, the release rate was reduced. The release behavior of carvedilol was simillar to that of naproxen in buffer solution of pH 1.2. In case of all the gelatin coated samples, however, the results showed decreased following the suppressed initial burst.

      • 橫流動속의 圓筒形실린더 群에 作用하는 流體作用力에 관한 數値解析的 硏究

        A numerical analysis method using FLUENT code was employed to investigate fluid drag and lift forces in the in-flow and cross flow direction on one cylinder of either two and three cylinders in a group when the group was subjected to a uniform cross flow. The analytical results of two staggered cylinder were compared with the experimental data, The analytical results were in good agreement with the experimental data and the followings are the major conclusions. For narrow streamwise spacing between axes of cylinders(L=1.5D), the numerical results of drag and lift coefficient for two-cylinder configuration show relatively high value at wide transverse distance because of the surface roughness specified in simulation. The region of wake interference at downstream at three-cylinder configuration show relatively narrow transverse range due to the balanced flow regime by symmetric configuration. For narrow streamwise spacing between cylinder axes(L=1.5D), the drag coefficient of three-cylinder configuration show relatively low value than two-cylinder configuration due to the interference effect of downstream cylinder which magnified by the expansion of stagnant flow. The results of this study can be used for the analysis of the fluid induced vibration where the group of circular cylinders are subjected to a cross flow.
