A two-phase method in CFD has been developed and is applied to model the cavitation flow. The governing equation system is two-phase Navier-Stokes equation, comprised of the mixture mass, momentum and liquid-phase mass equation. It employs an implicite, dual time, preconditioned algorithm using finite difference scheme in curvilineal coordinates and Chien k-ε turbulence equation. The experimental cavitating flows around ogive-cylinder and venturi type objects are employed to test the solver. To prove the capabilities of the solver. several three-dimentional examples are presented.

본 논문은 HVDC 시스템 밸브의 사이리스터 소자와 스너버 회로의 소손에 대한 원인분석 내용을 다루고 있다. 사이리스터는 다른 반도체 소자와 다르게 오랜 기간 안정성이 규명된 소자로써 대용량 전력설비에 사용되고 있으며, 반도체 기술의 발달에 따라 점차적으로 용량이 커진 소자가 개발되고 있다. 이러한 사이리스터가 대용량 HVDC시스템에 조립되어 운전되고 있는 경우에 사이리스터의 고장원인을 심층적으로 분석하여 고장원인을 분석한 것이 본 논문의 핵심이다.

In recent, Because of its rustproof property, Stainless steel is widely used in kitchen appliances, building materials, electronics, chemical plants and automobile exhausts. In addition, the utilization of stainless steel for fuel cell application is growing. As the demand for this material increases, it is necessary to study the basic properties of stainless steel such as corrosion resistance, heat transfer, formability, cutting or shearing ability and weld ability. In this study, FLD test and Uniaxial tensile and biaxial tensile test of Stainless steel 304 were performed. R-value and stress-strain curve were obtained. Biaxial tensile tests with cruciform specimen were performed until the breakdown of specimen occurs. The yield surface are made by application of plastic work theory. The results are compared with the theoretical prediction based on the Hill, Mises, Logan-Hosford model.

This paper deals with HVDC Light(High Voltage Direct Current) system using space vector PWM(SVPWM) method Because the system of this paper has d-q control scheme for HVDC Light system. HVDC Light system represented in this paper is capable of controlling active and reactive power independently. For this system, V-I curve and control methods are proposed. Also this paper describes the design of a digital system for applications m power converters such as those that would be used m the next generation of HVDC system Finally, HVDC system is implemented using DSP TMS320C31
