        졸-겔법에 의해 제조된 LiMPO<sub>4</sub>(M = Fe, Mn) 양극 활물질의 전기화학적 특성

        리튬이차전지의 양극 활물질로 카본 코팅된 $LiFePO_4$와 $LiMn_{0.4}Fe_{0.6}PO_4$를 졸-겔방법으로 합성하였다. 제조된 양극 활물질을 X-선 회절분석과 주사전자현미경을 통하여 불순물이 존재하지 않으며 기공이 잘 발달되어 있다는 것을 확인하였다. 액체전해질을 사용하여 0.1 C-rate의 전류밀도에서 충방전하였을 경우 $LiFePO_4$는 132 mAH/g, $LiMn_{0.4}Fe_{0.6}PO_4$는 145 mAh/g의 방전용량을 각각 나타내었다. 전기방사에 의해 만들어진 겔 고분자 전해질을 사용하였을 경우에 $LiFePO_4$와 $LiMn_{0.4}Fe_{0.6}PO_4$는 각각 114, 130 mAh/g의 우수한 방전용량을 나타내었다. Carbon-coated $LiFePO_4$ and $LiMn_{0.4}Fe_{0.6}PO_4$ cathode materials for lithium batteries were synthesized by a sol-gel method. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy data showed that the cathode materials are pure crystalline and are surrounded by porous carbon. The initial discharge capacities of $LiFePO_4$ and $LiMn_{0.4}Fe_{0.6}PO_4$ with the liquid electrolyte of 1M $LiPF_6$ in EC/DMC are 132 mAh/g and 145 mAh/g, respectively, at current density of 0.1 C-rate. $LiFePO_4$ and $LiMn_{0.4}Fe_{0.6}PO_4$ with an electrospun polymer-based electrolyte exhibit initial discharge capacities of 114 and 130 mAh/g at 0.1 C-rate at room temperature, respectively.

        모시풀잎 에탄올 추출물의 in vitro 항산화 활성

        To investigate the antioxidative potential of ramie (Boehmeria nivea L.) leaves, alcoholic extracts with different ethanol concentration were prepared. The extract obtained by using 70% ethanol possessed the highest total phenolic content. The extraction yield and total phenolic content of the ethanolic extract were 15.46% and 105.0 μg chlorogenic acid equivalent (CAE)/mg, respectively. Therefore, the antioxidant activities of the extract were evaluated as 2,2diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activity, reducing power and nitrite scavenging ability. EC 50 value for radical scavenging and nitrite scavenging activities, which is the effective concentration at which 50% of DPPH radicals and nitrites are scavenged, were 34.72 μg/mL and 52.99 μg/mL, respectively. EC 50 value for reducing power, which is the effective concentration at which the absorbance is 0.5, is 44.39 μg/mL. All antioxidant activities increased as extract concentration increased. These results imply that the ethanolic extract of ramie leaves has the potential to be utilized as an effective antioxidant source.

        육질색 종류별 고구마 추출물의 항산화 활성

        육질색에 따른 일반고구마(WF), 주황색고구마(OF), 자색고구마(PF)를 동결건조 후 에탄올 농도를 달리하여 추출물을 제조하고 분석하였다. 고구마 육질색과 에탄올 농도에 따른 추출 수율은 매우 유사하였다. 에탄올의 농도가 0%에서 70%까지 증가 됨에 따라 추출 수율이 서서히 감소되었으며, 에탄올 100%에서 매우 낮은 추출 수율(2~3%)을 보였다. 총 폴리페놀 화합물 함량은 PF가 WF, OF보다 2~5배 높은 값을 보였다. 총 폴리페놀 화합물 함량이 가장 높은 70% 에탄올 추출물에서 2,2-diphenyl-1-picryl-hydrazyl 유리 radical 소거활성의 EC50은 WF 2.030 mg/mL, OF 2.127 mg/mL, PF 0.179 mg/mL, 환원력의 EC50은 WF 1.587 mg/mL, OF 1.524 mg/mL, PF 0.236 mg/mL이었다. 추출물의 항산화 활성은 총 폴리페놀 함량과 상관관계를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, PF의 황산화 활성은 WF와 OF에 비하여 radical 소거활성은 10배, 환원력은 6배 이상 우수하였다. Antioxidant activities of ethanol extracts from three types of sweet potatoes with distinctive flesh color (white, orange, and purple) were investigated. Total phenolic content of purple-fleshed sweet potato (PF) was always 2- to 5-fold higher than those of white-fleshed (WF) and orange-fleshed sweet potato (OF). 2,2-diphenyl-1-picryl-hydrazyl free radical scavenging activity of 70% ethanol extracts was highest (EC50 = 0.179 mg/mL) for PF and lowest (EC50 = 2.127 mg/mL) for OF. And then, reducing power was also highest (EC50 = 0.236 mg/mL) for PF and lowest (EC50 = 1.587 mg/mL) for WF. Antioxidant activities of 70% ethanol extracts were closely related to the amount of total phenolics. These results imply that antioxidant activity of PF is 6.7 to 11.9 times higher than those of WF and OF.

        역상 HPLC에 의한 Fatty quaternary ammonium salt 4종 동시분석

        역상 HPLC에 의한 Cetyltrimetyl ammonium chloride(CTM), Stearamidopropyl dimetylamine(SAP), Behentriammonium chloride(BHT), Dihexadeyldimethyl ammonium chloride(DHDDM)의 양이온계면활성제 4종 동시 정량분석 방법을 개발하였다. 분석조건으로 분리관은 Alltech C18(250 mm × 4.6 mm i.d., 5 μm)을 사용하였고, 검출기는 ELSD를 사용하였으며, 이동상은 0.2%TFA/Methanol의 기울기 용리에 의해 분석되었다. 이때 검량선의 상관계수(r2)는 130~1980.5 ㎍/mL농 도 범위에서 0.997이상 이었고, 검출한계, 정밀성이 우수하였다. 이 방법은 fatty quaternary ammonium salt 4종의 정량분석 가능함을 보여 주었다. Simultanious quantitative determination of Cetyltrimetyl ammonium chloride(CTM), Stearamidopropyl dimetylamine(SAP), Behentriammonium chloride(BHT), Dihexadeyldimethyl ammonium chloride(DHDDM) was carried out by reversed phase HPLC. The 0.2% TFA/Methanol was used for the mobile phase of gradient conditions. An Alltech C18(250 mm × 4.6 mm i.d., 5μm)and the selected ELSD detector was applied. The analysis results of HPLC showed good linearity with correlation coefficient of r2=0.997 in the rage of 130~1,980.5 ㎍/mL and detection limit.

        참취의 고부가 식품이용화를 위한 품질특성 및 기능성 건강음료 개발

        This study was conducted to investigate quality characteristics of Aster scaber to increase the value of functional food resources. To examine quality characteristics of Aster scaber, various factors such as color, texture, fiber, minerals, tannin, crude proteins, crude lipids and sensory quality were determined using physiochemical methods. The contents of dietary fiber were 0.68 g in each 100 g of Aster scaber (freeze drying base). In mineral contents, iron was the highest value in Aster scaber (freeze drying base). The contents of tannin were 35.6 ppm of Aster scaber (fresh base). Aster scaber was shown significant difference in tannin from freeze drying leaf. From the results of sensory evaluation, the age of 30's and 40's showed a better acceptability in blanching. Functional healthy drinks were made from extracts of Aster scaber for relieving thirst and promoting health. The recipe of drinks were decided to establish manufacture condition through the sensory evaluation, color, flavor, taste, and overall acceptability. The shelf-life was established in 18 months through quality was analyzed such as soluble solids, optical density 480, pH, acidity and microorganisms.
