        Some remakable experiments on thermoelectric effects of semiconductor have been attempted, however, the results are not yet broadly utilized. I have been secured the following consequences through the experiment on the thermo-electric cooling which employed TE 24 C by using Peltier effects. (1) Exothermic or endothermic quantity ?? is proportion to the electric current I. (2) The temperature was dropped to the range of 43˚C, when the warm junction is at 30˚C. (3) The time required to reach the maximum cold junction was about 10 minutes. (4) By reversing switch, cooling or heating could be controlled freely. Available areas will be as follows. a) It might be utilized as the partial cooling apparatus for the elements are small. b) It will be useful in case of cooling when the cooling apparatus does not require vibration, because it does not have any moving part. c) It will be maintained semipermanently, for it has neither erosive part nor movable part. d) The inertia by heat conductivity was small, because heat absorption take place at the side of cold junction of the element. e) Any size of cooling apparatus will be made according to various purposes of refrigeration. f) A defect of the electronic cooling apparatus is low in efficiency, compared with the conventional pressure type, however, the better thermo-electric elements are expected to be developed soon.

      • Laser Beam의 Holography에의 應用

        Holography is a kind of photographing method which re-projects the wave surface and reveals the images of the objects. First, we reflect the objects with the coherent monocromatic light, and record the diffraction image on the dry plate, then develope it. We call this operated dry plate Hologram. The quite different results from the first are recorded on this dry plate and it results that the informed objects are accumulated the diffraction images on the surface of the dry plate. Second, we can get the images of the first objects reprojecting the wave surface from the recorded dry plate. The method of reprojecting is as follows ; if we reflect the first monocromatic light on the recorded dry plate, the wave surface which pass through the Hologram is shown the same one we reflect the objects directly. That's the way of reprojecting the real images. Consequently we call it Fraunhofer-hologram if the Fraunhofer diffraction image is to be recorded on the photographic dry plate, while we call it Fresnel-hologram if the Fresnel hologram image is to be recorded on it. In 1948 Gober, the English scientist, found out the method first out of the new experiment of microscope. In 1962 Leith, Upatnieks of America made remarkable progress using the Laser light. We expect this principle to be applied to the optics fields, such as measuring techniques, information-treatment-skills, high-speed photographic techniques, skills for interference spectroscopy, and microscope etc. In this paper I intended to express my opinions on the principle, kinds, reality and application of holography.

        각 활동들은 학생들의 과학적 지식과 이해를 적용, 발전시킬 수 있도록 용기를 주어야 하며, 안전 및 주의에 대해서 이해시키고, 일상의 모든 경험 속에서 그들이 가지고 있는 실제적인 기술들을 내세울 수 있도록 해주어야 한다. 아이들은 단순한 회로들을 구성해야 하며, 또 구성 성분의 용도를 조사하고, 열, 자기 효과, 주요한 전기력의 용도와 관련된 위험성에 대해서 배워야 하고, 안전책에 대해서도 알아야 한다. 학생들의 전기회로 안에 있는 구성 성분들의 더 넓은 사용범위를 조사해야 하며, 전기 조절 수단을 인식하고, 전류, 전위차, 저항 사이의 관계에 대한 이해를 발전시킬 수 있도록 간단한 전기 측정법을 만들어야만 한다. 또 학생들은 가정의 에너지 소모를 측정하고 계산해야 한다.

      • 漂白位相 Hologram의 耐光安定度

        In general, an extremely high diffraction efficiency is obtained through a phase hologram. However, a bleached hologram is gained by an amplitude hologram which requires a high stability with the method of reducing the noises of a reconstructed image and fading it. In this paper, the deffraction efficiency of holograms was discussed when the fade resitance stability was changed by the various methods. I treated by silver ferrocyamide, bromide, iodide to bleach hologram, an extremely effective results to improve the qualify of the reconstructed image are obtained.

      • 立體Holography에 있어서의 Recording Parameters

        In three-dimensional holography, the recording parameters depend on the exposure index to transmittance, film density, the ratio of object beam and reference beam, path length and path differences etc. in the processes of image reconstruction and image recording. The optimum values of those were measured and determined.

      • 漂白位相 Hologram에 關한 硏究

        In order to get the hologram which has the high diffraction efficiency and low noise, the bleached phase hologram was made. According to the ways of the bleaching the holograms, they were turned black and their diffraction efficiency was decreased as time elapsed. To solve theese problems; 1) The recording parameters of the holography were studied. 2) The stability of the holograms was studied. 3) Good results were obtained with the application of the negative feed back method in order to eliminate the intermodulation noise.

      • 複寫 호로그람에 關한 硏究

        Taking a copy of the hologram by the adhesion method I found that the original picture is the same as the copy picture in these days of the great demand for the reproduction of holograms.
