VTE 처리된 강유전 LiNbO₃ 단결정 내의 Nd³+와 Er³+ 초미세 구조의 비등방성

We have obtained sharp and clearly resolved ESR spectra of Nd³+ and Er³+ in vapor transport equilibrium (VTE) treated LiNbO₃ crystals, consequently have determined more accurate spin Hamiltonian parameters, than those in congruent samples. The anisotropic hyperfine structures of ¹⁴³Nd³+ and (145)^Nd³+ in the VTE-treated crystals at liquid helium temperature have been analyzed. It is proposed that both rare earth ions favor the lithium site in LiNbO₃ from the consideration of the determined anisotropic g-values.

The $Nd_{1+x}Ba_{2-x}Cu_3O_{7-{\delta}}$(Nd123) superconductor exhibits high performance in high magnetic field and high temperature. We have studied phase stability for Nd123 under reduced oxygen partial pressure and various heat-treatment conditions. The main phase is Nd123 and some samples contain small amounts of Nd422 depending on the temperature and oxygen partial pressure. The decomposition temperature decreases with decreasing oxygen partial pressure from $1052^{\circ}C(P(O_2)$=150 Torr) to about $845^{\circ}C(P(O_2)$=0.1 Torr). The liquidus line was steeper temperature with decreasing oxygen partial pressure. In same condition of oxygen partial pressure, the region of stable Nd123 phase was formed at slightly higher temperature than the region of stable YBCO phase.
Electrical Properties of Thin Films Deposited with MnO- and MnO2-modified BiFeO3 Oxide Targets

Mn-modified Bi<sub>1.05</sub>FeO<sub>3</sub> thin films were deposited on Pt(111)/Ti/SiO<sub>2</sub>/Si(100) substrates by using a pulsed laser deposition method with BFO oxide targets modified with MnO or MnO<sub>2</sub>, and the effects of the Mn were investigated. The 3% MnO-modified BFO thin film capacitor exhibited a large remnant polarization (2<i>P<sub>r</sub></i> = 179 μC/cm<sup>2</sup>) and low leakage currents over a wide electric-field range. However, different leakage current behaviors were observed in the 10% MnO-modified and 10% MnO<sub>2</sub>-modified BFO thin films. The leakage current mechanism of the 10% MnO-modified BFO thin film was Ohmic conduction while that of the 10% MnO<sub>2</sub>-modified BFO thin film was related to the oxygen vacancy-associated electrical conductivity.
