The focus of this paper is to investigate the mechanical characteristics of a carbon fiber reinforced BMI matrix composite laminate for high temperature application over 170℃ Comparison tests for the composites made of several resin systems including the BMI were performed to see the property drops at high temperature and to confirm the validity of the composites. All the compo site s were composed of CF3327, the carbon fabric mat from HANKOOK carbon Inc. RTM process was used to make composite laminate plates for specimens. The result shows that the CF3327/BMI composite is adequate for the high temperature application. Several mechanical tests for the CF3327/BMI composites under RTD and ETW conditions were performed according to ASTM test specifications.

Switching PFC converters are widely used not only to comply the power quality specification but also for maximum efficiency. However switching PFC converters generate serious electromagnetic interference(EMI).<br/> In this paper to solve this problem, we applied the APW(Anti Phase Winding) and RPWM(Ran -dom PWM) technique to PFC boost converter and obtained satisfactory results.<br/> Simulation and experimental results show the improved harmonic and reduced EMI effect in air-conditioner system.<br/>
