Recently, it was reported that the life of Al Sacrifical anode is being used in port piers has been significantly shortened, compared with the original design life (e.g. average life shortened from 20 years to 13~15 year). Those factors involving these problems mentioned above were seemed to be a quality of anode material and diverse environmental factors, such as pH, flow rate, temperature, Dissolved oxygen, Chemical oxygen demand and resistivity etc. In this study, flow rate and contamination degree(pH) of sea water affecting to sacrificial anode life have been investigated in terms of electrochemical characteristics of Al alloy sacrificial anode. It was known that the lifetime of Al alloy anode was shortened not only by increasing of self-corrosion quantity by varying flow rate of sea water but also by increasing corrosion current density due to the potential difference increment between Al anode and steel structure cathode by varying contamination degree of sea water. Especially when anode current density is from 1 mA/㎝² to 3mA/㎝² and flow rate of sea water is under 2m/s, anode current efficiency is 90% above. However flow rate is over 2m/s anode current efficiency fell down sharply due to erosion corrosion as well as galvanic corrosion.

Recently the necessity of study on optical measuring method using laser to detect the pipeline's defect in nuclear facilities, chemical industries and power plants has been increased. Because laser light can be delivered to a remote area without any difficulties, the application of laser in many industries can solve several difficulties from the limitation of access in danger area and reduce the risks of workers. Therefore, we applied a new experimental technique to the measurement of internal defects in weld zone with the combination of ESPI and image processing technique and detected the internal cracks of weld zone in the former paper.
SLS 공정을 이용한 산업용 임의형상제작 시스템에 관한 연구

A real object duplication system (RODS), including three dimensional (3D) scanner and solid freeform fabrication system (SFFS), is a device to make three-dimensional objects directly from the drawing or photo data. A Selective Multi-Laser Sintering (SMLS) process designed in this paper is by which computer images received using 3D scanner are built up from polymer powder on building room of large size using dual laser at industrial type SFF system. Using the process can rapidly produce real object duplication components of industrial type such as cylinder, engine block, chassis of automobile, etc. In this paper, the industrial type SFF system using SMLS process is manufactured and the system is satisfied with high precision and high speed processing technique. To research characteristics of each part for theindustrial type SFF system, a structure and thermal analysis and test of each part is carried out. Also, to achievement of high performance for industrial type SFF system, design and fabrication for the structure, heater, nitrogen supply, laser and control part are carried out.
