        중립 혼반용 검정 땅콩 신품종 흑찬

        ‘Heukchan’ (Arachis hypogaea L.) is a medium-sized grain and black-skin peanut variety that was developed at the Department of Southern Area Crop Science, National Institute of Crop Science in 2019. ‘Heukchan’ was developed from a single cross between black-skin accession ‘Heukhwasaeng’ and Virginia-type elite line ‘HP825’. ‘Heukchan’ has short ellipse-shaped grains and a dark-purple seed coat. It also has a shorter main stem and branch length (39 cm and 44 cm, respectively) than those of ‘Daekwang’ (50 cm and 61 cm, respectively) which resulted in higher tolerance to lodging. On average, the number of matured pods per plant of ‘Heukchan’ was 61 and its shelling ratio was 74%. The 100-seed weight of ‘Heukchan’ was 64 g which was lower than that of ‘Daekwang’ (85 g). In the regional adaptation test (from 2017 to 2019), the average grain yield of ‘Heukchan’ was 4.56 tons⋅ha-1 showing a 5% higher yield than ‘Daekwang’. The seed coat of ‘Heukchan’ contains two types of anthocyanins, cyanidin 3-sophoroside and cyanidin 3-sambubioside, which are not found in ‘Daekwang’. We analyzed the chemical properties of cooked rice containing ‘Heukchan’ with an increasing substitution ratio (5, 10, 20, and 40%); minerals and antioxidative activity as well as protein and unsaturated fatty acids were found to be significantly increased in the rice mixed with ‘Heukchan’. This new variety highlights the novel use of black-skin peanuts for mixing with rice to enhance nutrition and functionality (Registration No. 9195).

        다분지 고올레산 다수성 땅콩 신품종 ‘해올’

        ‘Hae-Ol’ (Arachis hypogaea ssp. Hypogaea) -a high-oleate peanut variety-was developed at the Department of Southern Area Crop Science,National Institute of Crop Science in 2018. This variety was selected from the pedigree line crossed between short stem Virginia-type ‘HP825’and high-oleate elite line ‘YG316’. The crude fat content of ‘Hae-Ol’ was 50.8%, and its oleic acid composition was 83.0% showing high-oleateproperty compared to that of ‘Daekwang’ variety (57.3%). The ratio of oleic acid to linoleic acid, which represents the oxidative stability, was12 times higher in ‘Hae-Ol’ than in ‘Daekwang’. The increments in acid value and peroxide value were relatively slower in ‘Hae-Ol’, under thecondition of accelerated oxidation. Over the three years of regional adaptation test (2016-2018) conducted at four regions, ‘Hae-Ol’ showed significantlyhigher grain yield (4.88 MT⋅ha-1), which was 16% more improved than that of ‘Daekwang’ (4.20 MT⋅ha-1). The seed of ‘Hae-Ol’ is brownin color and long-ellipse in shape and its 100-seed weight was 96 g. On field, ‘Hae-Ol’ demonstrated more resistance to late leaf spot (Cercosporidiumpersonatum) and web blotch (Phoma arachidicola). It also had a shorter branch and main stem, which was related to the higher tolerance to lodgingstress. The release of ‘Hae-Ol’ could contribute to the production of peanuts with enhanced quality and higher yield, and it is expected to be notablybeneficial to both the producers and manufacturers (Registration No. 8407).

        볶음 조건에 따른 들기름과 참기름의 기능성분 함량 변화

        들깨와 참깨를 여러 볶음 조건에서 처리한 후 착유한 들기름과 참기름의 기능성분 변화에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 다유 들깨와 건백 참깨를 볶지 않은 것과 170, 180, 190°C에서 1.5 kg의 종자를 15분 동안 볶음 처리 후 압착한 들기름과 참기름의 색도, 지방산 조성, 폴리코사놀 함량, 리그난 함량 및 벤조피렌 함량을 분석하였다. 볶지 않고 착유한 생기름의 수율이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 볶음 온도가 높아질수록 들기름의 명도와 황색도는 낮아지고 적색도가 증가하는 반면에 참기름은 명도가 낮아지고 황색도가 증가하였다. 지방산 분석 결과에서 들기름과 참기름 모두 볶음 조건에 의한 영향을 받지 않았으며, 들기름은 리놀렌산이 62.6~64.0%, 참기름은 올레산과 리놀레산이 각각 42.8~43.8%, 41.2~42.4%로 구성된 주요 지방산임을 알 수 있었다. 기능성분함량 분석 결과에서 들기름의 폴리코사놀 함량은 볶음 조건에 따라 달라지지 않았으며 16.67~17.61 mg/100 g oil을 나타내었고, 참기름의 리그난 함량 또한 볶음 조건에 따라 달라지지 않았으며 901~919 mg/100 g oil을 나타내었다. 벤조피렌은 모든 들기름과 참기름에서 검출되지 않았다. 본 연구는 고품질의 기름 생산을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이라 생각되며, 더욱 많은 자료의 확보를 위해 공시품종을 이용하여 생산한 압착유의 품질 특성을 조사한 연구가 지속적으로 진행되어야 한다고 생각된다. This study examined the functional components of perilla (Dayu) and sesame (Geonbaek) oils at various roasting temperatures. Roasting was conducted at 170°C, 180°C, and 190°C for 15 min. The oil yield of unroasted perilla and sesame oils was higher than roasted oils. With increasing roasting temperature, the brightness and yellowness in perilla oils decreased while the redness increased. With increased roasting temperature, the brightness was decreased while the yellowness increased in sesame oils. The major fatty acid of perilla oil was linolenic acid (62.6 to 64.0%). But the major fatty acids of sesame oil were oleic acid (42.8 to 43.8%), linoleic acid (41.2 to 42.4%). The total policosanol contents of the perilla oils were 16.67 to 17.61 mg/100 g oil. The lignan contents of sesame oils were 901 to 919 mg/100 g oil. Benzopyrene was not detected in the pressed oils. Roasting did not affect the functional components of perilla and sesame oils. This study provides basic data for the processing of edible oils and the seed industry.

        들깨 대실/잎들깨1호 재조합 자식계통(RILs)의 농업적 특성 및 품질 분석

        본 연구는 고품질의 들깨 신품종 육성을 위한 기초 자료로서 모본으로 종실용 품종인 '대실'과 부본으로 잎전용 품종인 '잎들깨1호'를 이용하여 교배된 재조합 집단(F<sub>1</sub>)을 양성하였고, F<sub>2</sub>세대부터 SSD법으로 계통을 전개한 고세대(F<sub>7</sub>) RIL집단 277계통들에 대해서 농업적 형질과 종실의 품질특성을 비교하였다. 재조합 집단의 주요 농업적 형질의 변이를 분석한 결과 경장은 66~150 cm, 유효분지수는 5~23개, 화방군장은 5.1~10.5 cm, 화방군수는 17~131개 및 화방군당삭수는 23~39개 등으로 분포하였다. 종실의 품질 특성을 분석한 결과 주요 지방산인 리놀렌산(C18:3)은 54.2~64.1%, 기능 성분인 rosmarinic acid는 869.5~3,508.1 ㎍/g, luteolin은 47.4~864.3 ㎍/g 및 apigenin은 57.1~296.7 ㎍/g 등으로 분포하였다. 조사된 대부분의 농업적 형질이 변이의 폭이 크면서 정규곡선 양상을 보였으며, 양친의 특성보다 우월한 특성을 가진 후대들이 많이 나타나는 초월분리 현상을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과는 F<sub>7</sub> RIL 집단이 향후 QTL 분석뿐만 아니라 우수 품종 육성을 위한 중간 모본 양성에도 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. This study was conducted to obtain basal information for the development of perilla cultivars with improved quality. The F<sub>7</sub> population of recombinant inbred lines (RILs) from a cross between the parents of Daesil for seeds and Ipdeulkkae1 for vegetables was used as the material. We evaluated several agricultural characteristics and seed quality. Variations were observed in most of the measurements; for example, stem length (ranging from 66.0 to 150.0 cm), number of branches (from 5 to 23), flower cluster length (ranging from 5.1 to 10.5 cm), number of flower clusters (from 17 to 131), a-linolenic acid content (from 54.2 to 64.1%), and functional compound content (rosmarinic acid 869.5~3,508.1 ㎍/g; luteolin 47.4~864.3 ㎍/g; apigenin 57.1~296.7 ㎍/g) all showed variation. Significant correlations between stem length and the number of branches (0.561) and number of branches versus number of flower clusters (0.638) were detected in the RIL F<sub>7</sub> population. Most agricultural characteristics and seed qualities showed a normal distribution with large variation, and transgressive segregation was observed in many descendants with characteristics to those of their parents. Daesil/Ipdeulkkae1 RIL F<sub>7</sub> populations could be useful for future QTL analysis as well as for intermediate breeding lines for high-quality perilla cultivars.
