In a gasoline engine with port injection system, the fuel behavior in the intake port has significant influence on the HC emission and the precise A/F control. That is to say, it is inevitable that the injection direction and behavior of fuel injected in the intake port have an effect on the generation of unbumed HC within a cylinder.<br/> In this paper, we visualize fuel behavior in the intake port using micro CCD camera synchronized with the stroboscope and investigate the fuel-film characteristics formed at the wall of intake port by processing image captured with VCR in the transparent intake port made of acryl.<br/> With these measuring methods, it was found that the fuel behavior and the formation of fuel-film in the intake port could be evaluated qualitatively. These results show that 2spray injector has a good response and minimizes the fuel-film in a DOHC gasoline engine.<br/>

WDM-PON은 가입자망의 트래픽 병목 현상을 해결하고, 다양한 서비스 품질을 제공하면서 고속화된 데이터 전송을 위해 가입자 당 독립 파장을 할당함으로써 가입자의 요구 대역에 제한을 받지 않으며, 보안성이 보장되는 차세대 WDM 기반 수동형 광가입자망이다. 특히 고성능, 저가인 광소자를 포함한 광모듈의 조기개발이 FTTH 네트워크 초기 시장 및 서비스를 선점하는 척도가 될 것으로 예상된다. 본 논문은 WDM 기반 수동형 광가입자망 동작 방식, 광다중화기 및 역다중화기, 그리고 WDM -PON과 WDM 다중화 기술인WDM/TDM, WDM/SCM, WDM/CDM을 포함한 다양한 광 수동 가입자망 구성 기술을 소개한다.

EGI system has severe problem that heavy HC emission is generated due to large fuel droplet and fuel film attachment. Therefore. for the purpose of reducing HC emission. various atomization techniques is being developed. The one among those techniques is air shrouded injector. which has better atomization ability and demand less power loss than other atomizers.<br/> In this study, using Malvern system and fuel film measurement device, the atomization and fuel film characteristics of an air shrouded injector was analyzed, and design factors to develop air shrouded injector was established.

Mixture formation is one of the important factors to improve combustion performance of an spark ignition engine. This is affected by spray and atomization characteristics of injector. In this paper, spray characteristics such as size distributions, SMD, spray angle, and velosity are measured by PMAS. Atomization levels are investigated with developed various air-assisted injectors. From these experiments, spray patterns and atomization characteristics injected from MPI injector are made clear. And these results revealed a design guide for air-assisted injector.

Mixture formation is affected by spray characteristics of injector and wall film flow. In this paper, spray characteristics such as size distribution, SMD, spray angle and velocity of three type injectors which have different spray patterns are measured by PMAS. Wall film flow rate of intake port are measured. From these experiments, the fuel behavior of three type injectors such as injection direction, spray angle and wall film flow is made clear. Consequently, the optimal fuel injection system and conditions for reducing spray size and minimizing the wall fuel film are found through this research.<br/>

A technology to replace the traditional blood sampling method for glucose monitoring has been sought for a long time. It is now possible to measure the blood glucose change rate continuously for more than 24 hours using a minimally invasive method that does not involve blood collection. Furthermore, various technology development efforts are being made for innovative diabetes management through intermittent or continuous blood glucose monitoring in a non-invasive manner. In this paper, we present an overview of diabetes and the need for continuous blood glucose measurement techniques., and then introduce various non-invasive blood glucose measurement techniques currently being studied. In addition, through research and analysis of the recent commercialization development status of minimally invasive, non-invasive, and wearable continuous blood glucose measurement technologies, we examine global development trends of future technologies.

In the case that EGI system is applied, air-fuel mixing period is so short that a lot of fuel-film and liquid-fuel flow into cylinder. Since this fuel-film is not burnt in cylinder, it is exhausted in the form of HC emission. In. this paper, fuel-film measuring device is manufactured specially, the amount and distribution of fuel-film which flows into through valve, can be measured quantitatively using this device. And, with the spark plug in which optical fiber inserted, diffusion flame is observed at second hand. As the result of this experiment, the information of optimal spray characteristics and injection condition that minimize fuel-film development, can be built up.<br/>
