        식생활교육용 어린이 푸드 아바타 애플리케이션 개발

        An educational application (App) called ‘Children`s Food Avatar’ was developed in this study by using a food DB of nutrition and functionality from Rural Development Administration (RDA) as a smart-learning mobile device for elementary school students. This App was designed for the development of children`s desirable dietary habits through an on-line activity of food choices for a meal from food DB of RDA provided as Green Water Mill guide. A customized avatar system was introduced as an element of fun and interactive animation for children which provides nutritional evaluation of selected foods by changing its appearance, facial look, and speech balloon, and consequently providing chances of correcting their food choices for balanced diet. In addition, nutrition information menu was included in the App to help children understand various nutrients, their function and healthy dietary life. When the App was applied to 54 elementary school students for a week in November, 2012, significant increases in the levels of knowledge, attitude and behavior in their diet were observed compared with those of the control group (p < 0.05, 0.01). Both elementary students and teachers showed high levels of satisfaction ranging from 4.30 to 4.89 for the App, therefore, it could be widely used for the dietary education for elementary school students as a smart-learning device.         여성노인의 스포츠이벤트 자원봉사 행동모형 검증

        이 연구의 목적은 스포츠이벤트에서 자원봉사자로 활동하는 여성노인의 행동모형을 검증하고 진지한여가 수준에 따라 모형을 비교하는 것이었다. 자원봉사자의 행동모형은 선행연구를 바탕으로 생활중심성, 참여만족, 그리고 참여지속의도의 관계를 연구모형으로 설정하였다. 연구를 위해 2011 대구세계육상선수권대회에서 자원봉사자로 활동한 만 60세 이상 여성노인 185명을 대상으로 설문 조사하였고 최종적으로 140명의 자료를 결과분석에 활용하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS18.0과 AMOS18.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석, 확인적 요인분석, 군집분석 그리고 구조모형분석을 적용하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 여성노인자원봉사자는 진지한여가의 수준에 따라 2개의 집단으로 분류되었고, 진지한여가의 수준별 집단에 따라 생활중심성, 참여만족, 참여지속은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 이 연구에서 설정한 생활중심성, 참여만족 그리고 참여지속의도의 모형은 적합한 것으로 나타났고 참여만족은 생활중심성과 참여지속의도의 완전매개변수인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 진지한여가 수준에 따른 모형검증 결과 진지한여가 수준이 높은 집단은 참여만족이 생활중심성과 참여 지속의 관계에서 부분매개변수인 것으로 나타났고 낮은 집단은 참여만족이 완전매개변수인 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 스포츠이벤트에서 여성노인의 자원봉사 활동지속을 위해 진지한여가 수준에 따라 다른 전략으로 접근해야 한다는 것을 시사하며, 이에 대한 구체적인 제언과 향후 연구방향에 대해 논의하였다. The purpose of this research was to examine the behavior model of female older adult volunteers in a sporting event. The model, which consisted centrality, volunteer satisfaction, and intention to continue was examined pertaining to different levels of serious leisure. The research obtained 140 samples from the 2011 Daegu IAAF World Championship Games. The data was analyzed using SPSS 18.0 for frequency, internal consistency, and group analyses. AMOS 18.0 was utilized to conduct confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. Results displayed statistical significance of all three variables on two levels of serious leisure. Furthermore, volunteer satisfaction fully mediated the association between centrality and intention to continue in the group with high level of serious leisure. Partial mediating effect of volunteer satisfaction was additionally recognized in the group with high serious leisure level.

      • E-Prime에 기반한 손가락 촉각 자극기의 개발

        In this study, a tactile stimulator was developed to resolve some problems from the previous version of the system such as system configuration, inappropriate stimulation control and additional problems. The developed tactile stimulator consists of control unit, drive unit and vibrator unit. The control unit was controlled by E-Prime software to generate appropriate vibration pulses. The drive unit supplies enough energy to the vibrator to generate effective stimulation pulses. The vibrator unit consists of small coin type vibrator and velcro, and was made to be attached at the hand easily. The developed tactile stimulator was designed by small-size, light-weight, low-power, simple-fabrication, max 35 channels and little delay time from instruction signal of E-Prime software to vibrator. The duration and magnitude of stimulation was controlled by 10 grades and the problems concerning stimulation control were compensated by wideband frequency ranges. Additionally, the electrical safety was ensured by low voltage operation. Vibrator was made to be attached on finger as well as on any part of the subject. Since this tactile stimulator is developed based on E-Prime software which is widely used in cognitive science, it is believed that this stimulator be suitable for the wide application of cognitive science study.

        선회식 가압부상 공정을 이용한 음폐수 처리시 순환수량 변화에 따른 유기물 제거 특성에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 음폐수 처리공정 개선을 위해 음폐수처리장 생물반응조 전단에 유입되는 원수를 이용하여 선회식 가압부상공정을 적용하였으며, 운전시 반응조 내 순환유량을 조절하여 운전조건별 유기물제거 및 변화를 파악하고자 하였다. 선회식 가압부상공정의 경우 초기응집제 주입량 4.5 mL/L를 고정하여 유입유량 3.5 L/min에 동일하게 주입하고, 주입공기유량 1.2 L/min 및 운전압력 3.0 kgf/cm<sup>2</sup>으로 설정 후 공기유량(1.5, 2.0 및 2.5 L/min)을 조절하여 운전하였다. 연구결과 순환유량 2.5 L/min에서 유기물(BOD<sub>5</sub>, COD<sub>Cr</sub>, 및 TOC) 및 부유물질(SS)의 제거효율이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났으며, DOC(dissolved organic carbon) 농도를 분석한 결과 DOC/TOC 비율이 순환유량 2.5 L/min에서 0.82로 나타났다. 선회식 가압부상공정 적용 시 고농도 유기물 폐수내 포함된 입자상 유기물질인 POC(particulate organic carbon)의 효과적인 처리가 가능한 것으로 사료되며, 선택적인 제거에 의해 음폐수 처리 시 선회식 가압부상공정 후단에 운전되는 생물학적 처리공정의 효율을 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. The purpose of this research was to improve the treatment process of food wastewater from food waste recycling facilities. Applied a cyclonic-DAF(dissolved air flotation) process as pre-treatment to improve the efficiency of solid-liquid separation was considered. Also, aim of this study is to develop an effective operation of each unit processes and stable linked treatments from other treatment facilities through determination of optimal operating conditions with changing in air flow and pressure of the micro-bubble generator. Organic matter removal and other changed were researched by different operations. In cyclonic-DAF(dissolved air flotation) process, initial coagulation concentration, influent flow rate, influent air flow rate, and operation pressure were set as 4.5 mL/L, 3.5 L/min, 1.2 L/min and 3.0 kgf/cm<sup>2</sup>, respectively. In recycling flow rate with 2.5 L/min, removal rates of dissolved organic matters(BOD<sub>5</sub>, COD<sub>Cr</sub>, TOC) and SS were the highest. In order to improve biological treatment process, DOC(dissolved organic carbon) was analyzed. And when recycling flow rate with 2.5 L/min, DOC/TOC was 0.82. It was considered that the cyclonic-DAF process was more possible for pre-treatment in order to improve the efficiency of solid-liquid separation, that is, POC(particulate organic carbon) than existing process. It could improve biological treatment process through decrease of suspended-solids.

        유기인계 중독환자에서 시간별 콜린에스테라아제 변화 분석의 의의

        Purpose: Previous studies have reported that plasma cholinesterase (AchE) concentration can serve as a useful prognostic parameter in cases of acute organophosphate (OP) poisoning. However, there has been considerable disagreement regarding the degree of its prognostic value. Earlier cross-sectional and one- time point studies were plagued with methodologic flaws, making it difficult to interpret their results. The purpose of this study was to clarify the prognostic value of time-variable cholinesterase levels and their relationship with clinical outcomes in OP poisoning. Methods: We reviewed medical and intensive care records of patients with acute OP poisoning admitted to our emergency department between March 1998 and Sep 2006. We collected patient information regarding poisoning, clinical, and demographic features. Patients were assessed for clinical outcomes and AchE concentrations on days 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7 and on the final day. Results: During the study period, 58 patients were enrolled in this study. There was a statistically significant difference in the AchE differentials on 1-3 days for patients requiring mechanical ventilation and for patients with mild poisoning (p<0.05). Also, the decrease in the log AchE concentration correlated with longer durations of mechanical ventilation (r=-0.411, p=0.002). Conclusion: In severe OP poising, measurements of time-variable AchE concentrations can be helpful in the prediction of mortality, the development of intermediate syndrome, and duration of mechanical ventilation.

        This study analyzed trends in lunar exploration and base construction plans of leading countries in the space development field and examined the possibility of constructing a lunar habitat as a residential environment. It analyzed lunar exploration scenarios from NASAs Artemis Program in the US, ESAs Moon Village in Europe, the International Lunar Research Institute (ILRS) in China and Russia, and Japan. To increase the possibility of lunar habitation, a long-term and specific lunar base construction roadmap and scenario are needed. This also includes a definition, vision, and mission setting for the lunar habitation that can be identified in a common language.

        만성폐쇄성폐질환자의 신체활동 관련 요인: 2013-2015 국민건강영양조사 자료 활용

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify the associated factors with physical activities in people with chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD). Methods: This study enrolled 1,176 COPD patients aged 40 and over who had the pulmonary function test in 2013-2015 Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES VI). The measured physical activities were self-reported walking and strength exercise. Descriptive statistics, chi-square test and multiple logistic regression analysis were used for statistical analyses. Results: The self-reported rates of walking and strength exercise were 45.1% and 26.6% among all the subjects. Age, gender, education level, income status, smoking status and stress perception were statistically significant associated with physical activities. Conclusions: Physical activity in patients with COPD was associated with non-modifiable factors including age, gender and socio-economic status and modifiable factors including smoking and stress perception. These findings suggest that a multi-dimensional program for patients with COPD comprising lifestyle modification and the amelioration of socioeconomic factors may be necessary to increase physical activity and improve health status from the long perspective.

        Effects of Ethanol Extract of Bacillus polyfermenticus SCD on the Physicochemical Properties of Cooked Ground Pork during Storage

        The objective of this study was to determine the effects of 0.6% vitamin C (VC), 5% ethanol extract of B. polyfermenticus SCD (EB), and a mixture of 0.3% vitamin C and 2.5% B. polyfermenticus SCD ethanol extract (CB) on the physicochemical properties of cooked ground pork during storage. The changes in pH of VC, EB, and CB were smaller than was observed with the control (CON, no added antioxidant). VC, EB, and CB exhibited significantly lower TBARS values than CON during storage (p<0.05). Longer storage periods resulted in higher TBARS values (p<0.05). VBN values for VC, EB, and CB were significantly lower than CON (p<0.05). The L values of CON and VC were higher than EB and CB (p<0.05). The a value of VC was significantly lower than CON, EB, and CB during storage (p<0.05). The b values of all samples significantly increased during storage (p<0.05). The addition of vitamin C and B. polyfermenticus SCD to cooked ground pork did not significantly affect sensory evaluations during the storage period (p>0.05). Further studies are needed to develop other meat products containing B. polyfermenticus SCD with acceptable physicochemical properties.
