중학생의 학교만족도에 영향을 미치는 변인에 대한 다층분석

본 연구의 목적은 중학생의 학교만족도에 영향을 미치는 변인을 학생 수준(학업적 자기효능감, 자기주도 학습능력, 자아존중감, 정신건강, 시험스트레스)과 학교 수준(학생자치활동 반영 정도, 학교소속감, 학교풍토, 교사 소진, 수업개선 활동)으로 나누어 확인하는 것이다. 이를 위해 다층모형을 활용하여 부산교육종단연구(Busan Educational Longitudinal Study)의 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학생 수준 변인 중에서 자기주도 학습능력, 자아존중감, 정신건강이 학교만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학교 수준 변인 중에서 학생이 지각한 학교소속감과 교사의 수업개선활동이 학교만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과를 토대로 중학생의 학교만족도 향상을 위한 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다. The purpose of this study was to examine the variables that affect school satisfaction of middle school students at the student-level (academic self-efficacy, self-directed learning ability, self-esteem, mental health, test stress) and the school-level (reflection level of student"s autonomous activities, sense of belonging to school, school climate, teacher burnout, and activities of teachers to improve classes). To this end, data from the Busan Educational Longitudinal Study were analyzed using a multilevel model. The research results were as follows. First, among student-level variables, self-directed learning ability, self-esteem, and mental health were found to have a significant effect on school satisfaction. Second, among school-level variables, sense of belonging to school as perceived by the students and activities of teachers to improve classes was found to have a significant effect on school satisfaction. Based on the above research results, policy implications for improving school satisfaction among middle school students were presented.
