        In rats treated with lead nitrate and cadmium chloride we observed a change of he level of hepatic microsomal protein, cytochrome P-450 and ??, and electron transport system for P-450 dependent reaction. The contents of microsomal protein, P-450 and b5, and activity of NADPH-cytochrome C(P-450) reductase were decreased according to the dosage of lead nitrate and cadmium chloride. On the other hand, the activity of NADH-cytochrome ?? reductase was increased according to the dosage of lead nitrate and cadmium chloride. These results suggest that the content and activity of cytochrome dependent mono-oxygenase may be dependent on specificity of substrates, and electron transport occurred through two pathway, that is, NADPH-cytochrome C(P-450) reductase and ?? reductase but NADH-cytochrome ?? reductase was mainly act as a mobile carrier so-called second electron carrier.

      • 흰쥐의 수태(Pregnancy) 기간중 간의 Cytochrome P-450-dependent Monooxygenases와 Reductases의 특성에 관한 연구

        The present study is to investigate the characteristics of several hepatomicrosomal cytochrome P-450-dependent monooxygenases and the level of components participated in hepatomicrosomal electron transport system from rats before and after pregnancy. The activities of cytochrome P-450-dependent monooxymenases, i.e., aryl hydrocarbon hydroxylase (AHHase), 7-ethoxycoumarin O-deethylase (ECDEase), benzphetamine N-demethylase, testosterone 7α-hydroxylase and those of NADPH-cytochrome c (P-450) reductase and NADH-cytochrome b5 were measured. The radioimmunoassay test with monoclonal antibodies was carried out to identify the induction or the change in relative ratio of specific type of cytochrome P-450 isozyme. The results were as follows : 1. In pregnancy the content of cytochrome b5 was increased but the content of cytochrome P-450 was not changed and also any induction or change in relative ratio of specific type of isozyme was not observed. 2. In pregnancy the activities of cytochrome P-450-dependent monooxygenases were gradually decreased and the activities of NADPH-cytochrome c (P-450) reductase and NADH-cytochrome b5 reductase were increased. After delivery all enzymes were restored. 3. The mutually contradicted result between the activities of cytochrome P-450-dependent monooxygenases and those of microsomal electron transport systems suggested that due to the change of hormone system concomitant with the physiological change, the former was complemented by different metabolic pathways containing another system.

      • 수태가 Cytochrome P-450과 P-450 관련 효소들의 활성도와 유도성에 미치는 영향

        To clarify the characteristics on hepatic microsomal xenobiotics metabolism in non-pregnant female rats compared with the changes observed during pregnancy of rats, the activities and inducibility of cytochrome P-450(P-450) and its related enzymes in rat liver were measured. The content of P-450 and ??, and the activities of P-450 dependent arylhydrocarbon hydroxylase(AHH) and ethoxycoumarin deethylase(ECDE), and NADPH-reductase and NADH-cytochrome ?? reductase were increased during preganacy of rats treated with 3-methylcholanthrene(MC). Pregnancy did not result from the induction of any specific P-450 isozyme. The inducibility of P-450 by 3-MC was similar to that of non-pregnant rats, and MC has caused the induction of only P-450 c isozyme. These results suggest that although P-450 content was slightly increased overall xenobiotic metabolizing ability of microsomal mixed function oxidase and the inducibility of P-450 and its related enzymes by administration of MC are not significantly changed during pregnancy in SD rats, the homeostatic reaction of an organism for the xenobiotic metabolism was preserved and activated.

      • 산지형 공원녹지에 대한 이용실태 조사 : 대구광역시 앞산공원을 중심으로

        As cities increase in density, more land is used for residential areas and existing green space is lost. The result is increased investment in establishing parks. As the concept of "well-being" has increased in popularity, more and more time and money have been invested in creating open spaces and the number of people enjoying those spaces, including hikers, has in turn increased. More hikers have led to damage from excessive use to urban parks and trails including in places like Bukhansan National Park in Seou, and Palgongsan Provincial Park and Apsan Park in Daegu. Many Daegu citizens often visit to Palgongsan Provincial Park and Apsan Park. However, there not enough research has been done on user-behavior or satisfaction with forested parks and open spaces in these cities. Therefore, this research collected data related to user-behavior through a questionnaire targeting Apsan Park, a representative forested park in Daegu, and analyzed present conditions, user-behavior, and the relationship between satisfaction-achievement. Then, the survey was analyzed to know user-behavior or satisfaction for providing basic information on plan·design·management of urban forested parks. The results are as follows. People usually visit the forested parks with family, friends, or alone for exercise or relaxation. Most visitors come once or twice a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends and spend two to four hours there each visit. The most-used facilities in the park were trails and sports facilities, reflecting survey results that said most visitors use the park for exercising and walking. and exercising. Therefore, program and facilities managers should take these numbers into consideration. Respondents wanted more trees, lawns and flowers. Also facilities should be kept in a good state of repair and rest areas should be expanded. According to the analysis of the importance-achievement, respondents expressed dissatisfaction to conditions related to restrooms, garbage disposal, and damage to natural resources and cultural amenities. Visitors also wished to see more development of walking areas. To raise user-satisfaction from forested parks, management of land, facilities, nature resources, and cultural amenities should be considered to prevent environmental damage. Facilities and rest areas should be expanded including more trees, lawns and flowers. With more information, improvements, more active participation in forested can be expected.
