유럽시장에서의 한-독 통역 및 교육과정에 대한 시사점

This paper explores the relations among German-Korean conference interpreters, the European market, and M.A. level training programs in Korea. After categorizing active German-Korean interpreters working in Europe in two different groups and evaluating market demand, the paper introduces data from the 2012 aiic survey such as average working days, market share, special market segments, and distribution of interpreting modes. Data interpretation will be accompanied by interviews with 6 interpreters and insights based on the author’s personal experience as German-Korean conference interpreter in Europe. Finally, the paper reviews prior researches on trends in B.A.-level German Studies in Korea and makes suggestions for interpretation and translation-related courses at the Graduate School of Interpretation and Translation(GSIT) at the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. It is suggested that GSIT should actively recruit students who are native German speakers, increase specialized courses, and provide English as a potential C-language.

항공용 제트 펌프는 구동 유체를 공급하는 승압펌프와 엔진의 운용 조건에 따른 요구사항을 만족하도록 설계되어야 한다.[1] 유동 해석을 통해 제트 펌프가 성능을 만족하는지 확인하고 성능시험을 통해 제트 펌프가 요구 사항을 만족하는지 알아보고자 하였다. 제트펌프가 실제 장착되는 형상을 모사한 유량시험장비를 제작하여 공급되는 압력에 따라 제트펌프가 가지는 성능결과를 나타내고자 한다. Aircraft Jet Pump have to be designed satisfying with requirement by boost pump supplying motive fuel and operating condition of Engine. In this study, we checked the performance of Jet pump by Fluid Analysis and Fluid Test.

항공용 제트 펌프는 구동 유체를 공급하는 승압펌프와 엔진의 운용 조건에 따른 요구사항을 만족하도록 설계되어야 한다.[1] ANSYS WORKBENCH[2]를 이용한 성능 해석 및 실제 장착되는 형상을 모사한 성능시험을 통해 제트 펌프가 요구사항을 만족하는지 확인 하였고, 이를 기반으로 민수(RTCA/DO-160G) 및 군수(MIL-STD-810G) 환경시험을 통해 항공용 제트 펌프의 신뢰성 평가를 하고자 하였다. Aircraft Jet Pump have to be designed satisfying with requirement by boost pump supplying motive fuel and operating condition of Engine. Through the Fluid Analysis and Fluid Test, We confirmed performance requirements. In this study, we checked the Reliability assessment of Jet pump as Environmental test applying RTCA/DO-160G method and MIL-STD-810G.

위성 추진시스템 추력기 밸브 내 원형 판스프링 유한요소해석 및 설계 검증시험

위성용 단일추진제 시스템에 적용되는 핵심부품 중 하나인 추력기 밸브는 솔레노이드 방식을 이용하여 추진제를 공급/차단한다. 밸브에 장착되는 원형 판스프링은 마찰과 반복운동에 의한 위치변형 및 파티클이 없다. 본 연구에서는 원형 판스프링 소재, 두께, 반경을 고정변수로 원형 판스프링 내부 패턴의 너비를 설계변수로 설정하여 유한요소해석 및 검증시험을 하였다. 시험결과 변위에 따른 스프링 상수 k가 선형적인 특성이 나타났다. 원형 판스프링 총면적에 따른 스프링력의 경향성을 통해 원형 판스프링의 설계가 가능함을 확인하였다. The thruster valve, which is one of the key components applied to the mono-propellant system for the satellite, has a circular plate spring structure. It can be designed as a structure that does not have positional deformation and particles by friction and repetitive motion. In this study, finite element analysis and verification were performed by setting the width of the circular plate spring as a design parameter with the material, thickness and radius of the circular plate spring as fixed variables. The linearity of the spring constant is shown by the graph that is spring force with displacement. It is confirmed that the optimization design of the circular plate spring is possible by the spring force tendency according to the total area of circular plate spring.

제논연료공급장치의 주요 구성품 설계/제작 및 시험

제논연료공급장치는 유량제어를 통한 전기 추력기에 제논연료를 공급하는 장치이다. 제논연료공급장치는 메인 탱크(Main Tank), 메인 필터(Main Filter), 충진배출밸브(Fill and Vent Valve), 오리피스 픽스쳐(Orifice Fixture), 차단밸브(Isolation Valve), 저장용기(Accumulator Tank)로 구성되어 있다. 주요 구성품은 메인필터, 충진배출밸브, 차단밸브, 저장용기이며 설계, 해석, 제작, 시험 순으로 제작수행 하였다. 구성품 제작시 가공, 조립 및 용접이 진행되었으며 시험은 각 단품에 대해 진행하였다. Xenon Feeding Unit(XFU) supply xenon fuel to the electric thruster through flow rate control. XFU compose Main Tank, Main Filter, Fill and Vent Valve(FVV), Orifice Fixture, Isolation Valve and Accumulator Tank(ACT). Main components are Main Filter, FVV, Isolation Valve and ACT. It is sequence of design, analysis, product and test. It was conducted processing, assembly and welding in component fabrication. And tests were conducted for each unit.

번역에 관한 소고-개구리왕의 변신, 개구리신선

독일동화 또는 민담이라고 알려진 「개구리왕」과 심의린의 「개구리신선」은 어떠한 관계인가? 「개구리왕」은 『아이들과 가정이야기』라는 제목으로 독일에서 1812년에 처음으로 출판된 책에 첫 이야기로 수록되었다. 책에 실린 이야기들은 전체 200편이상 지속적인 수정과 변화를 거쳐 1857년에 제 7판을 마지막으로 출판되었다. 1926년 심의린이 출판한 『조선동화대집』에 여덟 번째 이야기로 소개되는 「개구리신선」은 「개구리왕」과 유사한 화소 및 모티브를 가진 듯 한 이야기이지만, 등장 인물의 변신과 결말이 확연히 다르다. 이 논문에서는 이 두 이야기를 ‘번역’이라는 개념으로 연결 짓는다. 언어 내 번역 및 언어 간 번역 및 기호간 번역이라는 야콥슨의 분류 중, 일반적으로 '번역‘은 언어간 번역을 의미하고, 이는 달리 ‘적절한 번역’이라고 불린다. 번역자는 자신이 - 의식하거나 또는 의식하지 못하거나 - 번역하고 활동하는 그 시간과 공간 및 사회문화적 맥락 속에서 텍스트를 바라보고 작업 한다. 그러나 현재의 연구자들은 20세기 초 당시 구한말 및 일제 강점기의 번역 양상을 연구할 때, 현 시점의 정의 및 연구 맥락에서 ‘적절한 번역’의 과거 번역 결과물을 모방, 오역, 번안 또는 부적절한 번역 등으로 평가한다. 이러한 접근을 통해서는 당시 외래텍스트의 수용과 그를 통한 자국내 새로운 텍스트의 생성과정 및 그 결과물(번역물)을 지극히 제한된 시선으로 바라볼 수 밖에 없다. 번역학에서는 텍스트의 일대일 대응만을 번역이라 인정하고 연구하는 한쪽 극단과, 문화를 포함한 모든 것이 번역 가능하다는 번역대상의 확장이라는 다른 극단적 양상이 공존한다. 이 소고에서는 번역의 대상범위를 협소한 의미에서의 - 일대일 번역 - 차원을 넘어서는 한 편, 이러한 확장이 - 은유적 번역이 아닌 - 실제 텍스트에 기초하여 이루어지므로, 번역학 내에서 번역의 개념이 적용되는 대상이 경계없이 확장되는 것을 제한하여 이러한 극단전 양상을 극복하고자 한다. 또한, 적극적 외래 텍스트 수용을 통한 근대개화기 아동문학의 초석 마련에 의미있는 활동으로서의 번역을 다시금 조명 하고자 한다. What is the relationship between “The Frog King” in German fairy tales and Shim Euirin’s “Frog Sinseon”? “The Frog King” was first published in Germany in 1812, and in the first volume of Kinder und Hausmärchen which was finally published in 1857 after multiple revisions and changes. Introduced as the eighth story in the Chosun Fairy Tale Collection published by Shim Euirin in 1926, “Frog Sinseon” seems to have motifs similar to “The Frog King,” but the ending and characters are significantly different. In this paper, these two stories are linked to the concept of translation. According to Jakobson's classification, there are three different kinds of translations: intralingual translation, interlingual translation, and intersemiotic translation, where “interlingual translation” is also called “proper translation.” The ways in which translators work on and think about texts are bound to time and space, and consequently the socio-cultural context. This is often forgotten, and the translations and translators’ activities of earlier times―such as those of early 20th century Korea―are evaluated based on contemporary notions of what translation is and how should it be. This often results in evaluating the texts translated in the past as imitation, misinterpretation, or improper translation. Such evaluations limited the reception of foreign texts and production of new ones during the early 20th century. In the course of translation studies, the objective has been to focus on the correspondence and equivalence of the source and target texts. On the other hand, any phenomenon applied to translation apart from those based on the text― metaphorically as well―result in a loss of boundaries of the concept of translation. First, this paper attempts to overcome such extreme aspects by expanding the concept of translation based on specific texts. Thus, the scope of texts studied under translation studies can also be diversified. Moreover, this paper re-examines translation as a meaningful activity in setting the cornerstone of children's literature in 20th century Korea through the active agency of translators.
