Generally Lighting system consists of lamp and luminaire. When a fluorescent lamp is installed in luminaire, power and light output is changed by ambient temperature. Particularly electrodeless lamp depends on the changes that are mercury pressure with amalgam temperature and magnetic properties with ferrite temperature. It has finally influence on optical efficiency In this study, the temperature change of ferrite and cold spot, vessel are measured at transitional state and then same characteristics are measured with increase of ambient temperature. At transitional state, luminous flux is related to temperature change of cold spot that compare with behavior of mercury pressure and light output. At increase of ambient temperature, we analyzed change that efficiency and electrical, optical characteristics of elecrodeless lamp are related to ferrite core and cold spot temperature. Additionally, spectrum, color temperature and coordination are measured to check that is relation with ambient temperature.

본 논문은 테스트 환경의 재구축에 의한 번거로움을 제거하고 손쉽게 테스트 환경을 재구성할 수 있는 리눅스 기반의 테스트 베드인 Network Traffic Control Test-bed(NTCT)를 구현하고 이를 활용한 실험 결과를 보인다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 NTCT는 원하는 사용자가 지정하는 네트워크 트래픽을 발생시키는 NS2 연동 트래픽 발생기와, 네트워크의 대역폭을 관리하여 실제 네트워크 상황과 유사한 환경을 유지시키는 트래픽 제어기, 그리고 성능 평가를 위한 실시간 네트워크 모니터로 구성되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 제시하는 NTCT를 이용하여 네트워크 성능을 평가하는 예제를 포함한다. This paper proposes architecture of Linux-based Network Traffic Control Test-bed (NTCT) that easily implements reconfigurable network environment. The proposed NTCT consists of traffic generator that uses the simulation results of NS2 simulator, traffic controller using Linux kernel, and traffic monitor. This paper also includes the analysis example using the proposed NTCT.

The use of arc tubes made of ceramic material further enhanced some of the metal halide lamp's properties. These properties translate into higher efficacy with better color rendering, stable color through lamp long life. Recently, due to an increase in the application of the ceramic metal-halide lamp, the study for the property etc. according to Ballast's driving scheme and the study for arc tube material, optimization of gas and so on are being proceeded to improve the property of the lamp. Especially, to control ceramic metal-halide lamp, the vigorous study and practical use with respect to Electronic Ballast, which has been improved in the disadvantages of the conventional Magnetic Ballast are made. In this paper, Electrical, optical and thermal characteristics are analyzed by comparing magnetic ballast with electronic ballast.

In recent, there have been several developments in lamp technology that promise savings in electrical power consumption and improved quality of the lighting space. Above all, the advantage of ring-shaped electrodeless fluorescent lamp is the removal of internal electrodes and heating filaments that are a light-limiting factor of conventional fluorescent lamps. Therefore, the life time of ring-shaped electrodeless fluorescent lamps is substantially higher than that of conventional fluorescent lamps and last up to 60,000 hours and is intended as a high efficacy replacement for the incandescent reflector lamp in many applications. In this paper, when appling the electrodeless lamp in luminaire, We analyzed change of optical and electrical characteristics.

This paper had mentioned about CCP light source application for increasing the efficiency of Xe lamp the mercury-free lamp. In order to increase the efficiency of Xe EEFL, we designed and manufactured the lamp used by mixture gas of Xe, Ne and He. Also, we have analyzed the electrical and optical properties with the firing voltage, sustain voltage, paschen's curve, wall charge, and capacitance. As a result, the firing voltage decreased by increasing the ration of mixture gas. and, It is owing to include the gas with high ionization energy. The firing voltage decreased in condition happening the penning effect, Because the ion of metastable state created from penning effect, Which can encourage the ionization phenomena. Also, the wavelength of 467.12 is increase. because of the energy transition in the wavelength of 147 nm. therefore, we can know about the affection of phosphor with UV emission properties. Through an experiment, Xe 100 % and Xe 75 % confirmed same spectrum properties by each mixture gas ratio. In the case of Xe 50 %, spectrum properties appeared Xe discharge and Ne-He discharge. That analyzed an electrical and optical properties. Therefore, confirmed that is excellent because properties of firing voltage, wall charge, capacitance in Xe 50 %, Ne : He = 9 : 1. We offered parameter in inverter manufacture and lamp manufacture by electrical and optical properties.

In recent. ceramic metal halide lamps that use the ceramic in arc tube material have the advantage of high rendering index, high efficacy, long life. According to increase applications, the research continue to improve various factor that is arc tube material, optimization of gas and metal halide. In oder to improve system characteristics of CMH Lamp with ceramic arc tube, when operating CMH lamp with magnetic and electronics ballast, we compared with electrical, optical characteristics in this paper.
