This paper presents a study on the driveline output torque estimation based on two angular velocity sensors: the output and wheel speed sensors. The linear state-space system equations are first derived and the discrete Kalman filter is designed based on the Kalman filter theory to estimate the driveline output torque, and its estimation performance is compared with the in-situ output torque measured by a strain gage type torque transducer. The comparison result show that the discrete Kalman filter can be effective for estimating the output torque without direct torque measurement.

To analyze the gas discharge phenomena in parallel-plane electrodes, the fully coupled finite element method (FEM) considering secondary electron emission effects in discharge column was adopted in this paper. Two coupled equations of the hydrodynamic diffusion-drift equations for three carriers and the Poisson’s equation for electric scalar potential should be solved as a system equation. The proposed method including two secondary electron processes of the photoemission and background ionization has been successfully applied to evaluating the breakdown voltage in parallel-plane electrodes and is verified by comparing its numerical results with the experimental ones. From the obtained results, it is inferred that the proposed numerical scheme will be useful for predicting and understanding streamer transient phenomena.
과산화수소 케로신을 추진제로하는 다중 인젝터 설계 및 수류실험

본 연구에서는 고농도 과산화수소와 케로신을 산화제와 연료로 사용하는 다중 인젝터 액체로켓엔진을 설계, 제작하였고 수류시험을 수행하였다. 이 엔진에는 6개의 동축 선회형 인젝터를 사용하였으며, 유동해석 결과를 바탕으로 정체 구간과 재순환 영역을 최소화한 매니폴드 유로를 설계, 제작하였다. 최종적으로 수류실험을 통해 추진제의 공급 유량 및 분무 성능을 확인하였으며, 인젝터의 설계 타당성을 검증하였다. A multi-injector rocket engine using high concentrated hydrogen peroxide and kerosene as the oxidizer and fuel was designed and fabricated. Six coaxial swirl injectors were mounted on the mixing head and flow analysis in the manifold was performed to minimize stagnation and recirculation zones. Finally, uniformity of mass flow rate and spray pattern was evaluated by cold flow tests and the mixing head design process was successfully verified the results.

To develop the Automatic Transmission (in short : A/T) which is characterized by excellent shift quality and performance, an evaluation tool for a new hydraulic control system is needed. To do this, the dynamic modeling using a MATLAB/SIMULINK are performed and simulation results are compared with test results. In addition, the design of a new pressure control system employing 3 way pressure control solenoid valve is discussed. Simulation and test results show valuable feasibility of the design methodology suggested in this study.<br/>

As excellent shift quality is increasingly demanded in Automatic Transmission (in short : A/T), performance study of clutch control pressure has lately become a new subject of special interest, In particular, clutch control pressure needs high operational stability and quick response, To solve this problem, a notch effect of pressure control valve has firstly been examined using new' method like root locus in this study, Optimal geometric shape of the notch for PCV is also discussed, Theoretical and experimental results demonstrate that the proposed triangle notch is one of the useful methods for the improvement of hydraulic stability and suppression of pressure riffle, Consequently, this study provides feasible results for hydraulic control system design
다양한 기법을 적용한 SURF를 이용한 물체 검출 및 칼만 필터를 통한 추적 알고리즘 구현

This paper proposes method to track an object by applying SURF(Speeded Up Robust Features) in combination with various techniques and the Kalman filter. This method guesses next an object location and calculates an object velocity. The proposed method uses SURF to find features and it uses Harris corner detection technique to detect corners and edges. After Harris corner detection technique, it uses FLANN(Fast Library for Approximate Nearest Neighbors) to compare with an object image and camera images in real time. If camera image feature points and an object image features image points match more than 50, it assumes as same an object. After that it will be matched. After matching, it uses Kalman filter to track an object. Through tracking, we could expect next object location and direction.
