        In this study through the questionnaires of 128 firefighters working in Kim-cheon, Cheong-ju, Chung-ju, On-yang in October and November 2011. We investigated the wearing conditions, the importance and the uncomfortable degrees of their uniforms. About the importance of their service uniform, which they wear when they handle civil affairs or do the administration service, the wearing conditions, endurance and the conveniences of putting on and taking off was highly appraised. However, the importances of the design, dignity, and color were relatively low ranked. In case of fire-protect clothing, the importance of the smoke tolerance, heat resisting property, and water-proof was high, but on the other hand that of its design, size, and fitness was shown low. We could see they thought the fire-protect clothing materials to be very important. Regarding their active uniforms, which they wear when they do the rescue activities or the first-aids, the importance of the activity and wearing and removing their clothing was the highest, but that of the design, dignity and colors was shown low. The most uncomfortable parts of their clothing were those of neck, elbow, thigh, and hips in this order, and the less uncomfortable parts were those of thigh, sleeve cuff, and chest. The uncomfortable degrees were significantly shown depending on their ages, working experience and activity contents. As the differences on the uncomfortable degrees and the importance of their clothing depending on their ages, working experience and activity contents were significantly shown, the subdivision of their clothing reflecting these differences should be made.

        This study was carried out to investigate the frequently-used-food materials and cooking methods for menu items offered by school foodservice operations in Chungbuk. A total of 37,619 menu were collected from 203 schools. The results obtained from this study were as follows: The most frequently offered food type for staples was rice(81.4%) and then followed by one-dish food(13.2%), noodle, porridge. The most frequently cooking method for side dishes was stir-fry(24.7%) and then followed by seasoned vegetable(fresh, 20.2%), boiling in sauces(17.0%). According to school types, the most frequently offered food material for stir-fry was pork(13.5%, 16.7%, 20.6%) respectively and that for seasoned vegetable(fresh) was cucumber(17.3%, 14.2%, 9.9%) and that for boiling in sauces was pork(12.9%, 13.6%, 14.4%) respectively and that for seasoned vegetable(cooked) was bean sprout(15.0%, 16.9%, 21.9%) and that for deep-fry was pork(24.8%, 24.3%, 24.5%) and that for grill was pork(16.3%, 10.5%, 15.5%) and that for braise was pork(32.4%, 13.9%, 35.3%) respectively. These data could be incorporated into the quality improvement of school foodservice menu management.

        법률학적 모형에 의한 STS 프로그램이 고등학교 학습부진아의 학업성취도와 태도에 미치는 효과

        본 연구에서는 고등학교 학습 부진 학생을 대상으로 법률학적 탐구 모형에 의한 STS 프로그램의 효과에 대해서 조사하였다. 야간 고등학교 학생 76명을 연구 대상으로 하여 법률학적 모형에 의한 STS 프로그램을 적용한 실험 집단과 전통적인 강의식 수업을 실시한 통제 집단으로 나누어 조사하였다. 본 연구에서 활용한 법률학적 모형에 의한 STS 프로그램은 고등학교 공통과학의 생명 단원 중 '영양과 건강', '자극과 반응'과 '생식'의 3개 소단원을 8차시 분량으로 나누어 적용하였다. 실험 집단의 학업 성취도는 통제 집단에 비해 유의미하게 향상되었으며(p<.05), 과학에 대한 전반적인 태도에 있어서도 긍정적으로 변화하였다(p<.05). 이 결과로부터 학생의 학업 성취 수준에 적합한 STS 프로그램의 개발이 필요하며, 학습 부진아를 위한 교수-학습 방법 및 학습 프로그램의 개발이 요구된다고 하겠다. In this study, the effect of the STS program that was oriented from jurisprudental inquiry model on high school underachievers was investigated. The subjects were 76 high school students. They were divided into two groups, the STS program applied class(treatment group) and the traditional lecture-centered class(control group). The STS program was consisted of three subunits. 'nutrient and health', 'stimulation and reaction' and 'reproduction', of 'life' unit of high school general science. And these 3 subunits consisting of eight contents were lectured over 8 hours. The treatment group showed much better achievement in learning significantly (p<.05) than the control group showing that the STS program affected. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the STS program compatible with achievement level of students, and teaching-learning approaches and learning programs for underachievers.
