Background: Usually, we did the fungus culture by collecting nail samples using a surgical blade, but this procedure showed low positive culture rate. An emery board is a tool used to gently grind down and shape the edges of nails. Objective: The aim of this study is to compare positive culture rates of nail sampling techniques in diagnosis of onychomycosis using surgical blade and emery board. Methods: We collected and assessed data of 49 patients in total, with chief complaints of nail problem, and showed positive results in KOH smear. Fungus culture was performed twice in each patient, both by scraping nail with surgical blades and grinding nail piece with emery board. After 4 weeks from culture, we compared positive culture rates of two nail sampling techniques. Results: In 49 patients, 16 patients were male and the other 33 were female, with average age of 51.4 years. When classified by morphological type, there were 45 cases of distal lateral subungual onychomycosis (DLSO) and 4 cases of white superficial onychomycosis (WSO). Culture using emery board produced 18 positive results (36.7%) out of 49 patients, and that using surgical blade produced 9 positive results (18.4%); the difference were statistically significant. In other words, nail sampling using emery board rather than surgical blade resulted in higher positive culture rate. Conclusion: Therefore, emery board can be used as a useful device for diagnosis and identification of causative fungi in onychomycosis in clinical practice and a method to enhance positive rates of cultures.

Syringoma is the most common type of benign intraepidermal eccrine sweat gland tumor in Korea, and is usually found in women in their forties. It presents mostly as a localized lesion, preferring the lower eyelid, cheek, or forehead, and rarely invades the vulval area, and in the case of children, vulvar invasion is even more rare. Tranilast is an antihistamine used for atopic dermatitis and asthma, and has recently been used for the treatment of keloid. A few previous studies have reported both localized and generalized forms of syringoma being effectively resolved with tranilast. Herein, we report a rare and interesting case of milium-like syringoma, which manifested on the vulval area of 10-year old girl that was successfully treated with tranilast. I make a survey Grip Strength Back Muscular Strength, Vital Capacity and then. This conclusion is to certify that as stated synthetically. 1.The difference of Grip Strength between Mentally retarded children and Normal girl student show no intention's disparity left and right and then The Difference of Grip Strength between Mentally retarded girl student and Normal girl student show intention's desparity at the left and right. 2. The Difference of Back Muscular Strength between Mentally retarded male & female student and Normal male & female student show intention's disparity male & female simultaneously. 3. The Difference of Vital Capacity between Mentally retarded male student md Normal male student show intention's disparity and then In case of female student. There is no intention's disparity result.

I have analyzed result of enqete and summed it up in items. That'll come to the following conclusion and I'll add some suggestions. 1. The class teacher in charge or any other persons in charge starting the freshman orientation, they should first give the athletes a kind guidance and a deep understanding. For the adaption of desirable school life. they need to have to be provoked strong intrinsic motivation based on recognizing deeply the value and importance of society in mankind through their sports fields. 2. There must be the more individual contact between students and teachers. The ultimate purpose of the school education is in the cultivation of the whole personality. So it is desirable to give them more opportunity of accumulating the whole-some experience : the active participation in the class study and school schedule. 3. The relater-in-person must try to have the athletes concentrate on their sports activity and feel satisfied. 4. In case of the athletes having a poor record of school, another special programs are to be prepared. These'll help them to live a planned u hoof life, develope their mental ability. and recognize the importance of their school record . 5. To solve the problems with which the athletes are faced for themselves, the person in charge must keep in contact with them and develop their abilities.

자연수계 수산생물의 전염병 모니터링은 자연수계 및 양식 수산생물의 질병 관련성 및 상관관계 구명은 질병 발생 예방 및 확산 방지에 매우 중요한 역할을 한다. 2018년 해구 64개소에서 어류 39종 977마리 및 갑각류 14종 287마리를 선정하여 총 1,264마리에 대하여 병원체 감염 여부를 조사하였다. 어류는 법정전염병 2종 (VHS, RSIVD) 및 비법정전염병 3종 (MABVD, HRVD, LCD)을 분석하고 갑각류는 법정전염병 6종 (WSD, IHHN, TS, IMN, YHD, WTD)을 분석하였다. 조사한 모든 시료에서 전염병이 검출되지 않았지만, 우리나라에서 조사한 자연수계 수산생물이 무병하여 청정국 또는 청정지위 선언에 중요한 정보를 제공할 것이다. Disease monitoring in wild aquatic animals is necessary to obtain information about disease occurrence, disease agents, and the transmission of diseases between wild and cultured species. In this study, we monitored viral diseases in wild marine fish and crustacea caught by trawl in Korea in April and October 2018. We monitored the viral diseases in 977 fish from 39 different species and 287 crustacea from 14 different species. In fish, we collected kidney and spleen to detect viral hemorrhagic septicemia virus (VHSV), red sea bream iridovirus (RSIV), marine birnavirus (MABV), hirame rhabdovirus (HRV), and lymphocystis disease virus (LCDV). In crustacea, we monitored white spot syndrome virus (WSSV), infectious hypodermal and hematopoietic necrosis virus (IHHNV), taura syndrome virus (TSV), infectious myonecrosis virus (IMNV), yellowhead disease virus (YHDV), and white tail disease virus (WTDV) using pleopods, pereiopods, gills, muscle, and hepatopancreases. Although none of the viral diseases tested in this study were detected in the samples, these results will help disease control between aquaculture species and wild aquatic animals.
