A Study of N-Insertion Preferences in KoreanKyung-A Kook, Ju-Won Kim, Ho-Young LeeSince n-insertion is not an obligatory process in Korean, it is necessary to investigate what factors influence n-insertion preferences and whether n-insertion preferences have been changed over time. To find answers to these questions, an n-insertion preference test using a questionnaire was conducted. 183 words were selected for this test and 167 subjects participated in the test. The results of this test show that the n-insertion preferences were influenced by the speakers' age, the number and structure of the syllable, word class, phonetic environments, and familiarity. It is suggested that the results of this test should be incorporated into the Principles of Standard Pronunciation and in the Grand Dictionary of Standard Korean.

In these days, the conf lict between children's autonomy and the protection and intervention of adult teachers is becoming a real topic of discussion in the educational field. This paper examines the essence of education-care in a Christian way and point out that providing appropriate care for children is the right that adults should provide to children. To this end, in this paper, picture books based on gardens were selected and examined. As a result of examining the picture books based on the garden, it was found that the care devoted to others with royal authority and humanistic meaning of the garden, which restores life, as a ‘separated area’. In addition, we could see the teachings and care of older generations are passed down from generation to generation and bear fruit. Through picture books that examine the essence of caring from a Christian perspective and show it well, we will be able to reaffirm our responsibilities as adults who should practice caring. 아동의 자율권이 그 어느 때보다 강조되고 있는 요즈음, 특히 교육현장에서 아동의 자율권과 성인 교사의 보호 및 개입 간 갈등은 실질적인 화두가 되고 있다. 본 논문은 교육-돌봄의 본질을 기독교적으로 살펴보고, 아동에게 적절한 돌봄을 제공하는 것이 오히려 성인이 아동에게 제공해야 하는 권리라는 점을 말하고 있다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 정원을 소재로 한 그림책들을 선정하여 살펴보았는데 그림책은 유.아동이 세상을 간접적으로 접하고 배울 수 있는 중요한 매체이다. 또한 하나님이 아담에게 최초로 주신 소명은 에덴 동산-정원을 경작하고 돌보라는 것이었다. 정원 소재의 그림책들을 살펴본 결과 성경에 나타난 돌봄은 왕적인 권위를 가지고 상대를 향해 헌신하는 것이며 ‘구별된 구역’으로서 이 세상에 하나님 나라를 실현하는 목적이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 윗 세대의 가르침과 돌봄이 어떻게 대를 이어 아동에게 전수되고 열매가 열리는지를 볼 수 있었다. 돌봄의 본질을 기독교적 관점으로 살펴보고 이를 잘 드러낸 그림책들을 통해 우리는 돌봄을 실천해야 하는 성인으로서 책임을 다시 다질 수 있을 것이다.

각각의 통신서비스에 맞도록 설계된 다양한 통신망에서 가시화, 지능화, 개인화 되는 미래 통신서비스를 수용하고, 통신망 자원을 효율적으로 사용하여 보다 다양하고 보다 높은 질의 통신서비스를 보다 낮은 가격으로, 보다 신속하게, 보다 많은 사람들에게 제공하기 위하여는 통합통신망(BHSDN)으로 진화가 이루어져야 하며, 이러한 과정에 있어서 투자에 대한 이익 환수를 위한 경제적인 방안이 요구된다. 우리나라에서의 광대역 통신서비스 제공을 위한 진화 전략 및 방안을 수립하기 위해서는 먼저 최고의 통신선진국인 미국 및 우리나라와 유사성이 많은 일본에서의 광대역 통신서비스 제공을 위한 진화방안을 분석하는 것이 필요하다고 본다. 이를 위해 본 고에서는 미국과 일본의 통신 현황과 광대역 통신서비스로의 진화 방안, 광대역 통신망으로의 진화 방안에 대해서 분석하였다.

A total of 50 chicken dry-heat recipes were found in the 17 cookbooks including 「Urieumsik」, 「Ijogungjeonyoritongo(李朝宮廷料理通攷)」, 「Urinaraeumsikmandeuneunbeop」, 「Hangukyori A」, 「Gungjungeumsik」, 「Hangukuiyori」, 「Hangukyoribaekgwasajeon」, 「Gyejeolgwasiktak」, 「Segyeuigajeongyori B」, 「Hangukuimat」, 「Hangukyori B」, 「Hangukyori C」, 「Hangukinuiboyangsik」, 「Hangukuieumsik」, 「Hangukyoribaekgwa」, 「Hangukeumsikdaegwan」, 「Hangukuisangcharim」, and 「Urigajeongmalalayahalurieumsikbaekgaji」. I suggest changing to: “The purpose of this longitudinal study was to analyzes chicken recipes from 17 Korean cookbooks that were published between 1945 and 1999. Through content analysis, the study examines a variety of chicken dishes, their frequency, ingredients, and cooking techniques. The results identify an increase in chicken recipes during 1970-1989 and grilling or skewers as the preferred booking choice. These findings provide insight on historical trends within Korea’s chicken-eating culture.

Physiological and Whitening Effects of Morus alba Extracts

Mulberry extracts can be incorporated into skin-whitening products. The compound attributed to lighten the skin is arbutin, a form of hydroquinone that inhibits melanin release by suppressing the tyrosinase enzyme. For the cosmetic applications, the physiological effects of mulberry (Morus alba) extracts were investigated. The water soluble fraction of mulberry contains higher amount of protein (16.28~4.47%) in contrast to fat (1.55~1.41%). In addition, the fraction abundantly contains succinic acid (972.4-275.8 mg/g) and phosphoric acid (1,628.4-121.9 mg/g) in different parts of mulberry. The free radical scavenging ability in water soluble fraction was found to display remarkable effects in comparison with methanol and ethyl acetate fraction. The ethyl acetate-soluble of root and leaf showed remarkable tyrosinase inhibition activity by IC 50 (μg/ml). The anticancer activity of methanol fraction obtained from mulberry using human cancer cell lines showed growth inhibition effect (270.14 mg/ml in Calu-6 cells, 295.29 mg/ml in HCT-116, and 332.29 mg/ml in MCF-7 cells, respectively). Based on the results, Morus alba extracts include cosmetic ingredients with antioxidizing and whitening properties.
