연인에 대한 행동통제가 물리적 데이트폭력에 미치는 영향 : 폭력허용도의 조절효과를 중심으로

데이트폭력은 최근 심각한 범죄로 인식되어지고 있으며, 증가하는 경향을 보이고 있다. 이미 많은 선행연구들이 데이트폭력을 연구하였음에도 불구하고 데이트폭력 범죄는 날이 갈수록 심각해지고 있다. 데이트폭력 유형 중 심리적 폭력에 해당하는 연인에 대한 행동통제는 잘못됐다는 인식 없이 만연하게 나타나고 있으며 연구에 따르면 이러한 심리적 폭력이 후에 물리적 폭력으로 발전할 가능성이 있다고 설명하고 있다. 또한 폭력허용도의 경우 많은 연구에서 데이트폭력을 설명하는 주요 변수로 분석되고 있다. 개인의 폭력허용도는 개인 내면의 요인으로서 물리적 폭력과 관련이 있고 외부의 행동인 행동통제와 상호작용하여 물리적 데이트폭력을 유발할 수 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 한국형사ㆍ법무정책연구원에서 수행한 ‘2015 데이트폭력 실태조사’의 자료를 활용하여 연인에 대한 행동통제와 신체적ㆍ성적 데이트폭력인 물리적 데이트폭력 사이의 관계에서 폭력허용도가 갖는 조절효과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 폭력허용도는 행동통제와 물리적 데이트폭력 사이를 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 결론에서 데이트폭력을 예방하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다. Dating violence has recently been described as a serious crime and has not tended to decline over time. Despite the fact that many prior studies have already studied dating violence, dating violence crimes are becoming more serious by the day. Behavioral control for intimate partner of psychological violence among dating violence types is rampant without the perception that they are wrong, and studies have shown that such psychological violence is likely to develop into physical violence later in the day. In addition, in the case of violence tolerance, it has been analyzed as a key variable that describes dating violence in many studies. An individual’s permission to violence is associated with physical violence as a factor within the individual and can interact with external behaviors, behavioral control, which can lead to physical dating violence. Therefore, the study analyzed the regulatory effects of violence tolerance in the relationship between behavioral control for lovers and physical and sexual dating violence, using data from the 2015 Dating Violence Survey conducted by the Korea Criminal And Legal Policy Institute. Studies have shown that violence tolerance regulates between behavioral control and physical dating violence. Based on this, we proposed a way to prevent dating violence in conclusion.

충동성이 데이트폭력 가해에 미치는 영향 : 관계안정성의 조절효과를 중심으로

최근 언론보도를 통해 데이트폭력의 심각성이 인지되고 있는 가운데, 데이트폭력 예방 대책이 절실히 요구 되고 있다. 이에 따라 반사회적 행위에 강한 영향력을 가지고 있는 충동성을 예측변인으로 설정하였고, 긍정적인 영향인 연인과의 관계안정성의 조절변수를 충동성과 데이트폭력 관계에 투입하여 데이트폭력 가해 경향이 감소하는지를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 Riggs와 O’Leary (1989)의 배경-상황 모델에 근거하여 배경적 요인으로 충동성을, 상황적 요인에 관계안정성을 설정하여 선행연구를 바탕으로 총 3개의 연구가설을 설정하였다. 연구에는 총 2,000명의 교제 경험이 있는 성인 남성을 대상으로 연구가 진행되었으며, 조절효과를 분석하기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 충동성은 데이트폭력 가해의 유형인 신체적·정서적·성적 데이트폭력과 행동통제에 모두 통계적으로 유의미한 정(+)적 영향이 나타났으며, 관계안정성은 모든 데이트폭력 가해 유형에 부(-)적 영향이 나타났다. 최종적으로, 충동성과 모든 데이트 폭력 가해 유형에서 관계안정성은 부(-)적 조절효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 3가지의 연구가설은 모두 지지되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 데이트폭력 예방과 개입 방안을 제언 하고자 한다. Recently, as many incidents regarding dating violence have been reported through the press, Korean society has recognized the seriousness about this issue. Therefore, the effective prevention and interventions to dating violence are now needed. Thus, this study has focused on the relation between impulsivity, which is a strong predictive factor on anti-social behaviour such as violence, and perpetration of dating violence - physical, emotional, sexual dating violences and behavioral control. In addition, the moderating effect of ‘relationship safety’ in the relation between impulsivity and perpetration of dating violence has been examined for contributing to prevention of dating violence. Based on Riggs and O’Leary’s(1989) Background-Situational Model that impulsivity is considered as a background factor, while relationship safety is included in one of situational factors, the three hypotheses have been formulated. A total of 2,000 male adults have been analyzed, and the moderating effect of relationship safety has been tested through Hierarchical Regression Analysis. As a result, impulsivity is positively correlated with all types of perpetration of dating violence, whereas relationship safety is negatively correlated with them. Lastly, the moderating effect of relationship safety is statistically significant in the relation between impulsivity and perpetration of dating violence. These findings suggest the prevention and interventions in regard to dating violence.

인간의 행동은 자신의 성격이나 심리상태를 외면적으로 표출하는 것이기 때문에 범죄현장에 남아 있는 심리적인 증거들을 분석하여 범죄수사에 이용할 수 있다. 이러한 전제하에, 본 연구에서는 범죄심리에 관련된 그 동안의 학문적 성과를 경찰의 범죄수사활동에 구체적으로 활용할 수 있는 방안들을 살펴보는 것을 그 목적으로 한다. 즉, 범죄심리연구는 1) 범죄심리분석을 통한 심층적인 범행동기 파악, 2) 범죄자 유형분석기법(Criminal Profiling)을 통한 용의자압축, 그리고 3) 용의자 심문을 위한 정보제공 등의 방법들을 통해 경찰의 범죄수사활동에 도움을 줄 수 있다. 이러한 방안들 중 본 연구에서는 범죄자 유형분석기법에 관심을 가지고 우리 사회에서의 활용가능성을 살펴보면서, 이 기법의 활용을 위한 전제조건과 유의사항을 검토하고, 전산화를 통해 효율적으로 활용하는데 필요한 몇 가지 제언을 설명하였다. Since the behavior of human being is the external expression of one's personality and psychological state, it is possible to analyze psychological evidences remained at the crime scene and utilize them for criminal investigation. Based on this premise, the purpose of this study is to find out ways to utilize academic findings of criminal psychology for criminal investigation of the police. In this study, it is suggested that knowledge of criminal psychology can support criminal investigation of the police through 1) explaining fundamental motives of a crime using the analysis of criminal psychology, 2) narrowing the scope of suspects using criminal profiling techniques, and 3) offering the police information regarding the proper and effective methods for interviewing or interrogating a particular offender once he or she has been apprehended. Especially, this study attempts to scrutinize the possibility of utilizing criminal profiling in Korean society. Also, this study examines preconditions and limitations of the technique for real application and provides suggestions to efficiently utilize this technique through computerization.
