Five expensive sensors are necessary to control a magnetic bearing system. The sensor price rate of magnetic bearing system is high. So it is necessary that cheap and good sensor is developed. The optical fiber displacement sensor is adaptive to satisfy this condition. We can design magnetically suspended spindle based on static characteristic of optical fiber displacement sensor developed. The controller can be designed by decoupled feedback PD. Therefore, it is simpler than any other controller comparatively.

First-order database is defined as a function - free first - order theory. First -order database consists of the extensional database (EDB) and the intensional database (IDB). Henschen and Naqvi(HN algorithm), Wavefront algorithm,σ-Wavefront algorithm and counting method were developed for the efficient processing of first - order database queries in case of Transitive Closure queries(TC) and Single Looping rule and Single Recursion point (SLSR). We could develop an algorithm, so called, level counting which optimized the HN algorithm using counting method and σ-Wavefront algorithm, so we could reduce the redundancies and give the correct answer and guarantee the termination.
능동자기베어링 시스템의 제어기 설계 및 불균형 진동 분석

Active magnetic bearings (AMB's) have become practical in many industrial fields and numbers of studies for magnetic bearing systems have been reported. However, AMB systems are open-loop unstable and thus require feedback control for robust stabilization and performance. In this paper, first, a rotation of the rotor around the inertial axis is considered and a rigorous modeling of a magnetic bearing system in which the rotation of the rotor is on its axis of inertia is developed. Next, to stabilize the AMB system a PID controller is used and experimentally analyze its rotational response.

소방차 실내의 사이렌 소음 저감을 위한 능동소음제어 시스템

소방차와 같은 긴급차량의 운행 시 주변 운전자와 보행자에게 경보를 알리기 위한 목적으로 사용되는 사이렌 소리는 매우 높은 음압 레벨로 차량 외부에 방사된다. 이때 차량 실내로 함께 전달되는 사이렌 소음으로 인해 소방관은 무전기, 네비게이션 등의 음성을 인식하는데 방해를 받거나 소음성 난청이 유발될 위험에 노출되게 된다. 본 연구에서는 사이렌 소음을 제거하기 위한 방안으로 능동소음제어 기법을 제안하였으며, DSP를 이용한 실시간 제어시스템을 구현하여 차량 실내 환경에서 알고리즘의 유효성과 성능을 검증하였다. 또, 사이렌 소음의 주파수 특성과 탑승자의 탑승 특성을 고려하여 정음 공간의 크기를 확장하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 다채널 오차 마이크로폰 시스템을 적용하였으며, 제어 실험의 결과를 통해 적절한 마이크로폰 간격을 도출하였다. Siren sounds of high sound pressure levels are emitted from fire vehicles to alert other drivers and/or pedestrians. These siren sounds are propagated into the vehicle cabin; this impacts the clarity of voice communication via radio, navigation, and sometimes exposed to hardness of hearing. In this study, an active noise control (ANC) system is proposed to cancel the siren noise inside the vehicle. A real-time control system is implemented using a DSP configuration; its effectiveness and noise reduction performance are verified inside a real vehicle cabin. Considering the frequency characteristics of siren noise and passenger"s boarding conditions, a multiple error-microphone system is applied to expand the zone of quiet; in addition, appropriate microphone spacing is deduced based on experimental results to expand the zone of quiet.

To construct distance learning servers and provide their services using the WWW(World Wide Web), it is necessary that we use a real-time processing method rather than the processing after downloading method for multimedia data transaction and their processing. To fulfill such requirements, we developed a real-time processing module for distance education which can process multimedia data in AVI and WAV formats in distributed environments. We in turn developed a real-time WWW server that can provide real-time services of hypertext and motion pictures data in terms of adding the real-time processing module to the MuX framework and integrating them with WWW. We finally developed a distance learning system for real-time interactive Chinese Character learning, based on the results from the previous steps.
