Abutment screw loosening of dental implant is a major problem in the treatment of dental implant. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect on the prevention of screw loosening according to tightening method and using of washer. In the first experiment, using a implant fixture and precisely fabricated temporary cylinder, the loosening torque was measured by tightening the screw 5 times repeatedly. In the second experiment, the fabricated crown and implant fixture was tightened by the screw that is attatched washer and then the loosening torque was measured after loading it 1800, 12600 times under the force of 150N. The results were as follows. 1. The highest loosening torque appeared after tightening 3 times repeatedly(p<0.01). 2. When the washer was used, the loosening torque was increased significantly under the loading 1800 times(p<0.01), 3. When the washer was used, the loosening torque was increaed under the loading 12600 times, but it is statistically not significant(p<0.01). The first experiment results mean that 3 times repeated tightening screw is most effective clinically. The second results mean that washer is effective in prevention screw loosening, but the effect is decreased with increasing load.
MMC기반 능동형 필터를 활용한 고조파전류 저감에 관한 연구

Wide use of non-linear loads such as power conversion device has led to harmonics generation according to the development of industry plant. In this paper, the current harmonics mitigation using a Shunt Active Power Filter(SAPF) based on a Modular Multilevel Converter(MMC) is studied for a load acting as a typical current harmonic source in the power plant high voltage bus. SAPF was designed using p-q theory and d-q proportional-integral(PI) current controller to generate reference value and the compensation current, and controller and the harmonic compensation characteristics were verified by simulation. Current harmonic generation in the power plant high voltage bus was measured and the case study was selected. The effect of current harmonic mitigation was verified by installing the manufactured 6.9kV 200A SAPF on site.

With the proliferation of nonlinear loads such as personal computers in an educational office building, high neutral harmonic currents have been observed. High neutral currents in three-phase four-wire distribution power systems can cause overloaded neutral conductors, overloaded transformers, voltage distortion, common made noise, and malfuntion of protective equipment. On-site measurements of harmonic currents and voltages were made and the corresponding equivalent circuits was developed. The circuit model under study was simulated numerically and graphically through the use of the software MATLAB.

Rehabilitation assistive devices not only assist the rehabilitation therapy and daily life of the disabled and the elderly, but also assist the labor of their caregivers, so various functions are required to improve their quality of life. In this study, a design method considering its practicality is introduced for an active rehabilitation assistive device that can perform both standing and walking assistance by driving various actuators. For this purpose, the force required to assist standing was calculated using statics with the body segmentation method. Also, the overturning stability of the device was verified for various physical conditions and postures. The actuator in the active rehabilitation assistive device was operated by a patient using a graphical user interface in an embedded computer and a touch panel for easy usage. The detailed design was performed for implementation through the help of 3D-CAD and the finite element analysis, and a prototype was produced. Finally, it was proven that the design goal was satisfied by experimental validation.

Reliability is the probability of a device or system performing its function adequately for the period of time intended, under the operating conditions. Electric power networks are prime examples of systems where a very high degree of reliability is also absolutely essential for some industrial customers. A system consists of a set of components, interconnected in some purposeful way. The reliability of a system depends on the reliability of its components and on the configuration of the system. The basic indices used to examine and predict the performance of a distribution system at a customer load point are the average outage frequency, average outage duration and average unavailability. The case study system is a kind of radial configuration distribution system. This paper shows that a better meshed distribution configuration was selected by comparing the indices obtained from EDSA's reliability worth assessment of distribution systems program.
