Objects : To establish directions to evidence-based medical interventions and diagnosis technology in oriental medicine, we did survey research among oriental medical doctors. Methods : Systematically-organized questionnaires were provided for survey. 105 Oriental medical doctors nationwide participated in the survey. We investigated diseases of their patients, differential diagnosis methods, frequently used medical interventions, needs for diagnosis devices, evidence-based clinical manuals, etc. Results : In oriental medical clinics, the most frequent patient class was patients with musculo-skeletal diseases. Oriental medical doctors assumed that the preparation of care solution for chronic life-style diseases was the most urgent. Dong-Eui-Bo-gam(東醫寶鑑) was the most frequently used reference for their herbal medication prescription. Fixed document for diagnosis and treatment were thought to be the most important in the developing evidence-based clinical manuals. Conclusions : Validity and reliability should be considered as very important in developing oriental diagnosis devices. Evidence-based clinical manuals are needed to build standardized document for diagnosis and treatment and to verify efficacy and safety of oriental medical diagnosis and treatment.

Recreation has long been recognized as a vital element for everyone and for everyday living.However, the implication of equal right in recreation and leisure, under certain circumstances, can not be applied to every human being, and this is particularly true for the special populations. The term special population fits to the people who have physical and mental limitations and can not participate in recreation pursuits unless with outer help and speical guide, because of their illness, handicapped conditions, or other disabilities.They are hospital patients, physically handicapped, mentally retarded, aged, prisoners, alcoholics, drug abusers, problem youths, and other socially disadvantaged. The two basic counts in therapeutic recreation service are to meet basic human needs by providing outlets for inner urges and drives, and therapeutical value. The true nature of recreation leader differs from therapeutical function, however, social group work techniques are necessary for successful therapeutic recreation services, because they have to work, in most cases, with a small group and are responsible for individual rehabilitation. The therapeutic recreation service models varied depending upon the nature of problem and individual differences of special population.The four suggested servic models are, fun and games approach, personal adjustment, medical approach, and educative model.No matter what type of service be provided, the work planning for special population contains four basic processes, namely assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluation. Above all, the most important single element in providing therapeutic recreation service is recognizing idividual human dignity and understanding their personal limitations more clearly and consistantly. In the final analysis.one of the distintive characteristics of therapeutic recreation service is an integration of recreation service and social group work.

방학특강 멘토링 프로그램에 참여한 예비유아교사의 경험과 의미

본 연구에서는 멘토링 프로그램에 참여한 예비유아교사들의 경험을 살펴보고 의미 있는 경험에 대해 살펴보았다. 이는 예비유아교사들이 멘토링을 참여하기 전과 프로그램을 참여하는 과정에서의 변화 그리고 멘토링 프로그램이 종료된 후의 변화된 태도와 가치관에 대해서 살펴볼 수 있었다. 예비유아교사들은 교육계획안 작성을 통해서 좌절감을 느끼기도 하고 자기반성을 하기도 하며 이를 반영하여 모의수업을 하여 발전된 모습을 보이기도 하였다. 또한 멘토링프로그램에 참여하여 앞으로 자신의 학업 계획에 대해서도 고심하는 모습을 살펴볼 수 있었다. 따라서 멘토링 프로그램을 통해 예비유아교사들은 좀 더 유아교육 현장에 적합한 교사, 유능한 교사가 되기를 원하고 있었다. 이에 멘토링 프로그램은 유아교육 현장과 연계된 경험을 할 수 있으며 멘토와의 충분하고 심도 있는 상호작용을 진행할 수 있는 시간적 여유를 마련해 주어야 할 것이다.

자유와 선택 : 여가의 구성 요소에 대한 개념적인 분석 Conceptual Analysis of Leisure Properties

여가의 핵심적인 요소라 할 수 있는 인지적 자유와 선택의 자유 사이의 구별과 그 변화는 여라 여가 연구의 주제로 선택되고 있다. 그러나 이 둘 사이에는 그 구분이 아주 애매하다. 즉, 인지적 자유가 없는 상황에서 활동을 선택해야 하는 경우도 있고, 또, 여가를 경험하는 도중에도 인지적 자유가 일관성 있게 나타나지 않게 간헐적으로 경험되기도 한다. 바꾸어 말하자면 여가에서의 선택이 반드시 인지적 자유를 동반하는 것이 아니라 의무나 필요와 같은 외부적인 구속에 의해 결정되기도 하며 참여 도중에도 인지적 자유가 상황적인 요인들에 의해 방해를 받게 된다. The discussion of perceived freedom and free choice in leisure has been launched from philosophical debates on determinism and indeterminism which embraces human freedom and choice behavior. In determinism. the nature, or universe where human beings must live in accord is the only entity that controls the order, and such unique being is cometimes called 'god.' Determinists proclaim that all human actions including choice behavior have predetermined by this cause and effiect. and order. and there is no available freedom whatsoever. On the other hand, indeterminism emphasizes human capacity, creativity, and manipulative ability both on internal and external world. At the same time it maintains the notion that men can choose his action by his unique will and voluntary power. Perceived freedom which refers to a mental condition of leisure participants through which they feel complete freedom and satisfaction about their ctivity choices and involvement. has long been recognized as a prime factor in every type of leisure experiences, By some leisure scholars, perceived freedom, by its relational importance, also recognized as synonym as free choice, because leisure experience could be possible by freely chosen activities. However, the degree of freedom differ depending upon participants' psychological reactions toward outer constrains. from the start to the end period of leisure experiences. The determinants of variance of perceived freedom and free choice are both internal and external in nature. It means that perceived freedom could be changed by emotional make-up and reaction of participants. and situational variables as well. Social roles, responsibilities, and mood changes are the few examples of this circumstance. Of these, ongoing consent,' and 'intensification' are illustrated as the major factors which explain the cause of change of perceived freedom and choice throughout the leisure experiences. Ongoing consent refers to a participant's agreeable attitude to changing situation. and intensification means to intensify the daily living experiences through leisure setting. In summary, although perceived freedom is undoubtedly the core of leisure experience, it is apparent that perceived freedom could be deformed from time to time throughout the entire leisure experience including the period of activity selection to ceasing of involvement. If we adapt the philosophical theories of human action. both deterministic and indeterministic interpretations have certain validities in explaining human experiences of leisure. To determinists. perceived freedom, free choice, and actual involvement could be antecedently happened in leisure experience. On the other hand. indeterminists, argue that human beings have a right to manage their own freedom by which they could choose freely and take obligations and responsibilities to its results accordingly.
