Characteistics of a CMOS Differential Input-Stage Using a Source-Coupled Backgate Pair

It is well known that the conventional differential source-coupled pair uses gates as its input terminals. This input pair provids a high open-loop gain, a large CMRR, and a good PSRR. For these reasons, the input pair has been used widely as an input stages of the differential amplifiers, but a narrow linear input range of this structurelimits its application in the area of some analog circuit design. A novel CMOS source-coupled backgate pair is proposed in this paper. The bulk of MOSFET is exploited and input devices are biased to operate in ohmic region. With this topology, the backgate pair of the wide linear input range and variable transconductance can be obtained. This backgate input differential stage is realized with the size of W/L=50/25 MOSFETs. The results show the nonlinear error is less than $\gamma$1% over 10V full-scale range for the bias current of 200$\mu$A with 10V single power-supply.

Switched reluctance motor (SRM) drives appear today as viable alternatives to induction and brushless motor drives in a wide range of application such as machine tools, fans, and pumps. This paper deals with a new converter topology which can be used in order converter. The split source type converter consists of minimum switching devices to be used in switched reluctance motor (SRM) drive. In this proposed converter two switches and six diodes are added to split source type converter. The proposed converter has performance minimizes the negative torque, Which puts the phase current off by double impressed voltages. The major advangtage of this converter is the increase of the average output power while improving better converter efficiency in heavy load and high speed than other topologies. The proposed converter system has been implemented using 80C196KB microcontroller and experiments were carried out ot verify the simulation results.

Based on a thorough analysis of the text of Zhuangzi, this paper reveals the logical structure and fundamental of Zhuangzi’s thought, and especially recognizes that the basic methodology of Zhuangzi is not linguistic analysis but functional analysis. The methodology of functional analysis tries to grasp the states of being first, and then to reveal the essence of being. The attributes of a thing depend on it’s states of being, which are different and interrelated, and constitute individual things with different features. Although all of the attributes belongs to one reality, we can find hierarchic ranks based on their different functions. So we can say the attribute of a thing is a unity of diversified aspects which relation is not juxtaposition but principal and subordinate, that is, the secondary attributes are depended on the main attribute. Thus, the abstract concepts derived form the different states of a thing are restrictive and supplementary each other, through which human beings can understand the essential being.
