호도약침(胡桃藥鍼)의 급성(急性) 아급성(亞急性) 독성(毒性)에 관(關)한 실험적(實驗的) 연구(硏究)

Objective : This study was purposed to investigate the acute. subacute toxicity of Herbal acupuncture with Juglandis Semen(JsD) in mice and rats. Methods & Results: Balb/c mice were injected intraperitoneally with JsD for $LD_{50}$ and acute toxicity test Sprague-Dawley rats were injected intraperitoneally with JsD for subacute toxicity test. Results: The results obtained were summarized as follows; 1. LD50 was uncountable as could not find the expired of treat group. 2. The clinical signs and body weight changes of mice treated with 0.2cc, 0.4cc JsD were not affected during the acute toxicity test. 3. In acute toxicity test of serum biochemical values of mice, total protein was increased in treat-l group, compared with normal group, and total cholesterol was increased in treat-2 group, compared with normal group.(P<0.05) 4. In subacute toxicity test, main toxic syndrome was not found. 5. The body weight was decreased in treat-2 group, compared with normal group and relative liver weight was decreased in treat-1, 2 group, compared with normal group in subacute toxicity test.(P<0.05) 6. In subacute toxicity test, WBC, MCH, MCHC were decreased in treat-2 group and RBC was increased in treat-2 group, compared with normal group in complete blood count test.(P<0.05) 7. In subacute toxicity test, treat groups were not changed serum biochemical values of rats, compared with normal group.(P<0.05) Conclusions: According to the results, Herbal-acupuncture with Juglandis Semen caused no toxicity.

Sweet BV의 조제물 농도분석 및 안정성 확인을 위한 시험적 연구

Objectives : This study was conducted to confirm validation and stability of concentration analysis method of pure melittin (Sweet Bee Venom-Sweet BV) extracted from the bee venom by utilizing protein isolation method of gel filtration. Methods : All experiments were conducted at Biotoxtech, a non-clinical studies authorized institution, under the regulations of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP). Standard solutions of melittin (SIGMA, USA) and test substances were dispensed and were analyzed with HPLC for Sweet BV to secure the validation of analysis. Results : 1. Measurement of system suitability of Sweet BV satisfied criterion of below 3%. 2. Confirming Linearity of Sweet BV in 10-200${\mu}g/m\ell$ solution yielded correlation coefficient (r) of 0.995 and accuracy of 85-115% which satisfy criterion. 3. Measurement of Specificity of Sweet BV didn't yield any substance affecting the peak of test substances, but detected at 21.22min verified as the test substance. 4. Confirming Intra-day of Sweet BV, accuracy and precision of 0.1, 100${\mu}g/m\ell$ were 105.70, 95.81 and 0.66, 0.73, respectively, satisfying both criteria of accuracy (85-115%) and precision (within 10%). 5. To measure Stability in autosampler, all samples used in Intra-day reproducibility sat in the autosampler for five hours and were re-analyzed. Both variability and precision satisfied the criteria. 6. Homogeneity of Sweet BV (0.1, 100${\mu}g/m\ell$) at upper, middle, and lower layers all satisfied the accuracy and precision criteria. 7. Stability of Sweet BV (0.1, 100${\mu}g/m\ell$) at room temperature for four hours and refrigerated for 7 days all satisfied the criterion. 8. For the measurement of Quality control, QC samples measured on the first and eighth day all satisfied accuracy and precision criteria. Conclusion : Above experiment data satisfies validation and stability of concentration analysis method of Sweet BV.

다발성 경화증 환자 5례에 대한 임상보고

Background : Multiple Sclerosis is characterized by chronic inflammation, demyelinization and neurogliosis(plaque) in optic nerve, brain and spinal cord, which is recurrent visual disturbance, sensory disturbance, motor disturbance and sphincter disturbance, etc. Objective : This study was performed to evaluate the treatment of acupuncture therapy including Herbal Acupuncture and Bee venom Herbal Acupuncture in Multiple Sclerosis. Methods : We treated 5 cases of Multiple Sclerosis patients with mainly Bee venom Herbal Acupuncture therapy, and herbal Acupuncture, sa-am acupuncture form 18th september, 2001 to december, 2002. Results : 1 Of 5 cases who were treated with above, 3 patients were mildly reduced symptoms and 2 patients were no changes. 2. There are two patients who were definitely appeared the recurrent symptoms on treatment period, but decreased the remission period than before. 3. It has not shown noticeable recurrent symptoms of 3 patients. Conclusions : Bee Venom Herbal Acupuncture therapy and other acupuncture therapies were effective in reducing the recurrent symptoms and remission perod, but it was not evaluated the chief complaints on 5 cases of Multiple Sclerosis. We think that it need the further study and clinical trial for Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological diseases.

호도약침(胡桃藥鍼)의 Sarcoma-180 항암효과(抗癌效果)에 관(關)한 실험적(實驗的) 연구(硏究)

Objectives: This study was purposed to investigate the sarcoma-180 anticancer effects of Herbal acupuncture with Juglandis Semen(JsD) in mice. Methods: The Juglandis Semen Herbal-acupuncture was injected on Chung-wan(CV12) of mice with S-180 cancer cell line. Results: The results obtained were summarized as follows; 1. Median survival time of S-180 cancer cell treated with Juglandis Semen Herbal-Acupuncture was not significant.(p < 0.05) 2. Natural killer cell activity was insignificant for S-180 cell treated with Juglandis Semen Herbal-Acupuncture Herbal acupuncture. (P < 0.05) 3. Interleukin-2 productivity of S-180 cell treated with Juglandis Semen Herbal-Acupuncture was not significant.(P < 0.05) Conclusions: According to the results, we can conclude Herbal-acupuncture with Juglandis Semen caused no effects in S-180 cancer cell.

Objectives : Through the literatures on the effets of Bufonis Venenum, we are finding out the clinical possibility and revealing the more effective to intractable diseases. Methods : We investigated the literatures of Oriental Medicine and experimental reports about Bufonis Venenum. Results : 1. Bufonis Venenum is made of bufonidae bufo bufo gargarizans cantor or bufo melanostictus schneider of white serum which secreted from parotid gland or dermato gland, and it is dried for using. 2. In oriental medicine, Bufonis Venenum has been mainly used on the tumors, cacanthrax and dermatic disease, and then it has been clinically used on infantile athrepsia, tetanus, sore throat, toothache, and so on. 3. The pharmacological effects of Bufonis Venenum are cardiotonic, respiration stimulation, depressor or vasopressor, topical anesthcsia, hallucination, striped muscle stimulation, antiasthmatic, antibacterial, antiinflammatory, anticancer, diuretic, immuno effects, etc. 4. Bufonis Venenum is largely divided in ether binding steroid compound, hydroxyl steroid compound, carboxyl or aldehyde steroid compound, indole compound, and adrenaline, cholesterole, etc. 5. Symptoms of Bufonis Venenum poisoning in digestive system are vommitig, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dehydration, in circulatory system are palpitation, shock, bradycardia, in nervous system are vertigo, somnolentia, muscle-tendon reflex weakness, and critical conditions to tissue necrosis and heart attack. 6. Ways to treat Bufonis Venenum poisoning include gastric irrigation with $0.2~0.5\%$ potassium permanganate fluid and atropine $0.5{\sim}1.0mg$ subcutaneous injection. From the chinese book of Bon Cho Gang Moke(本草綱目), if white serum of Bufonis Venenum enter the eyes, it happens the edema and pain. And then washed the eyes by juice of Lithospermi Radix(紫草) that the edema is removed. Conclusions and Discussion : The results from above literary studies show that prescriptions and Aqua-acupuncture of Bufonis Venenum could be clinically used to sedative, anticonvulsant, antibacterial, antiinflammatory, anticancer and topical ataralgesia. However it is expected that pharmacological and side effects of Bufonis Venenum are further studied.

홍화약침(CF)의 부작용에 관한 임상적 고찰

Objectives : This study was performed to examine the patterns and to prevent the side effects of CF Herbal Acupuncture treatment Methods : We observed 10 patients who complained the side effects of Herbal acupuncture CF and 2 healthy men for the sake of examine the cause from the August 17 to 24, 2001. Results 1. All of the patients complained severe pain, redish, and edema on the side of injections 2. We were able to witness decrease in pain, redish, and edema, after 2days of injection. After 4days, we were unable to any side effects. 3. According to the clinical studies, we came to determine that the CF herbal abstract which caused the side effects were manufactured between 4 to 13 days, August 4. We assume these side effects were caused by minute quantity of toxin remaining in the screw pressor mixed with the CF herbal abstract.

봉약침요법(蜂藥鍼療法)을 이용한 고관절병변(股關節病變) 치험(治驗) 증례보고(症例報告)

Objective : In this study, we have discovered that Korean Bee-Venom therapy is effective in treating various hip joint diseases. For example, A vacular Necrosis, Degenerative Arthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Methods & Results: We have treated three cases of affections of the hip(eg. Degenerative arthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis and Avascular Necrosis of Femoral Head) with Korean Bee-Venom therapy and herbal acupuncture treatments. For acupuncture, Korean Bee-Venom therapy was observed for its pain relieving effects. Korean Bee-Venom therapy was treated on the following acupuncture points: GB29(Koryo), GB30(Hwando:環跳), ST36(Chok-samni:足三理). As the results of these treatments, a little change of inflammation around the hip joint on X-ray scan study was observed. but the degree of pain and range of motion were improved. in addition to general conditions of the patients. Conclusions: Based on the clinical results, Korean Bee-Venom therapy is believed to be effective for treating Avascular Necrosis of Femoral Head, Degenerative arthritis and Rheumatoid arthritis of hip joint. However, it is expected that further studies should be conducted to provide more objective information.

Sweet BV 시술 후 발생한 과민반응 환자의 증례보고

Objectives : Sweet bee venom(SBV) is pure melittin, the main component of bee venom, made by removing another components through gel filtration chromatography and propionic acid/urea polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. In the using SBV, 2 patients were experienced anaphylaxis by SBV. So, we reported the process of anaphylaxis and consider these situation. Methods : We observed 2 patients suffered from anaphylaxis after treated with SBV in the Korean Medical Hospital, Sangji University. Results : Though SBV was removed allergen from bee venom, it is not possible to complete prevention of anaphylactic shock in the clinics. So, Korean medical doctor using BV or SBV must be prepare the system consider a countermeasure by anaphylaxis.

중소기업 금융지원 정책의 효율화 방안

This study was conducted to investigate the solicitous and efficient execution methods of government-sponsored financial programs for the small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs). The method for its aim used papers, archival data, analysis, reports in the research level of organization, and empirical analysis of the small and medium-sized industrial enterprises in Jinju·Sacheon·Changwon·Masan cities. For SMEs, banks are the most important means in raising funds from outside. Korean SMEs are having difficulties in raising funds directly from the capital market, compared to large companies. The SMEs have had serious difficulties in raising funds from financial institutions including banks due to the chronic customary collateral loan systems. Korean SMEs have been in trouble in improving their financial structure due to the heavy burden on financial expenses caused by unfavorable financial market environments. To help SMEs financially, loans based on credit should be sought to take the place of the old practice of secured loans. Credit guarantee programs are being expanded to achieve more effective lending services and more incentives are being offered for high quality workers applying for employment with SMEs. The Financial Impediment Report Center should be operating to ease loan conditions for SMEs which have weak credit ratings and little collateral. This center either provides information or offers consultation services and organizes meetings with representatives of financial institutions and other related organizations in the interest of SMEs. The government had to operate a Credit Guarantee Fund for SMEs which have no way to provide collateral for loans. In order to protect SMEs from becoming insolvent or going bankrupt because of dishonored commercial bills they have received in payment for products or services they have supplied, a commercial bill insurance system had to have been put into operation. A fund for small businesses had to be operated separately to prevent bankruptcies and ensure managerial stability. To help ease the financial difficulties facing SMEs, an SME Management Stabilization Fund should be created to provide assistance for operations. The system for providing SME assistance funds should be improved to make it more efficient : procedures be simplified; measures be taken to prevent overlapping assistance; and, a private-sector evaluation system be established.
