        This study was conducted to determine several analytical methods to quantitative structural carbohydrate(dietary fiber). Two kinds of vegetables(lettuce and leek) with each, having several components-dietary fiber(DF, includ nondigestible component), total dietary fiber(TDF), neutral detergent fiber(NDF), protein corrected NDF(c-NDF), indigestible dietary fiber(IDF) and acid detergent fiber(ADF) were compared in this study. Two kinds of vegetable components were calculated to the regression equation and correlation coefficients between them-Y=39.955+0.37X(r=0.27) between DF(Y) and NDF(X), Y=53.346+0.12(r=0.08) between DF(Y) and c-NDF(X), Y=30.519+0.80X((r=0.81, p<0.05) between DF(Y) and ADF(X), Y=65.097-0.128X(r=0.26, p<0.01) between TDF(Y) and IDF(X), and Y=47.89+0.2X(r=0.49, p<0.05), between DF(Y) and TDF(X), respectively.

        차전자피, 펙틴 및 셀룰로스 함유 식이를 급여한 흰쥐의 지질농도 및 임상생화학적 지표 효소에 미치는 영향

        식이 섬유소원인 셀룰로스, 차전자피 및 펙틴의 단독 또는 혼합 급여에 의한 Sprague-Dawley계 수컷 흰쥐의 지질 농도 및 임상생화학적 지표 효소에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 실험 식이군은 식이 섬유소원에 따라 셀룰로스 투여군, 차전자피 투여군, 펙틴 투여군 및 차전자피와 펙틴 혼합 투여군으로 나누었으며, 이들 식이 섬유소원은 반합성 식이에 10%(w/w) 수준으로 첨가하여 6주간 자유급여시켰다. 체중 증가량, 식이섭취량, 각 조직의 상대적 중량은 각 실험군간에 유의한 차이는 없었다. 차전자피 투여군 및 펙틴 투여군에서 혈청 중성지질 및 인지질 농도는 셀룰로스 투여군 및 차전자피와 펙틴 혼합 투여군보다 통계상 유의하게 낮게 나타났다. 혈청 총 콜레스테롤 농도는 차전자피와 펙틴 혼합 투여군이 다른 식이 투여군보다 감소경향을 나타내었다. 그러나 간장 중성지질 및 인지질 농도는 혈청 지질 농도와는 반대로 차전자피 투여군 및 펙틴 투여군보다 셀룰로스 투여군 및 차전자피와 펙틴 혼합 투여군에서 낮게 나타났다. 차전자피 투여군의 혈청 임상생화학적 지표 효소 glutamic pyruvic transaminase, glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, alkaline phosphatase, lactate dehydrogenase활성과 총단백질, albumin, blood urea nitrogen은 다른 식이 투여군보다 낮게 나타났다. 이상의 결과로부터 식이 섬유소인 차전자피 급여는 혈청 임상생화학적 지표에 크게 영향을 미치지 않으면서 중성지질 농도를 낮추는 작용이 있는 것으로 나타났다. This study investigated the effects of different kinds of dietary fibers, cellulose, psyllium husk, pectin and the psyllium husk plus pectin, on the lipid concentration and hemobiochemical enzyme activity in male Sprague-Dawley rats. The experimental groups were divided into four groups; the cellulose group, the psyllium husk group, the pectin group and the psyllium husk plus pectin group. Dietary fiber was supplemented at 10% (w/w) levels in the diet. Body weight gain, food intake and relative tissue weight were not significantly different among the dietary groups. Concentrations of triglyceride and phospholipid of serum in the psyllium husk and the pectin groups were significantly lower than those of the cellulose and the psyllium husk plus pectin groups. Concentration of total cholesterol of serum in the psyllium husk plus pectin group was lower than other dietary groups. However, concentrations of triglyceride and phospholipid of liver in the psyllium husk and the pectin groups were significantly higher than those of the cellulose and the psyllium husk plus pectin groups. The hemobiochemical parameters, total protein, albumin, glutamic pyruvic transaminase, glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, alkaline phosphatase, lactate dehydrogenase and blood urea nitrogen in serum of the psyllium husk group were lower than other dietary groups. These results showed that dietary psyllium husk could have lowering effects on serum triglyceride concentration without any side effect of hemobiochemical enzyme activity in rats.

        Sarcolemmal fraction from canine ventricle was isolated to investigate the effect of cadmium on the ATP-dependent ?? uptake of sarcolemmal vesicles. About 29% and 26% of sarcolemma in sarcolemmal fraction, enriched in ouabain sensitive ??, ??-ATPase, were inside-out and rightside-out vesicles, respectively. Sarcolemmal vesicles rapidly accummulated ?? in the presence of ?? and ATP, and this ?? uptake reached at maximum 10minutes after incubation. Cadmium inhibited ATP-dependent ?? uptake of sarcolemmal vesicles, showing the half maximum inhibitory concentration (??) of ?? in the presence of ?? CaCl₂, Apparent Km (??) and Umax of active ?? transport across the plasma membrane were ?? and 11.7n mol/mg protein, respectively, and cadmium decreased the maximum capacity of ?? uptake (U max) without affecting Km of ?? . It is concluded that intracellular cadmium inhibits active transport of calcium from cytosol to extracellular fluid.

      • 근채류와 엽채소류의 종류별 식이섬유함량비교

        This study was conducted to determined three kinds of analytical methods for the quantitative structural carbohydrate(dietary fiber, DF; neutral detergent fiber, NDF; crude fiber, CF) of two group of vegetable foods(five kinds of root vegetable, four kinds of leaf vegetable). In root vegetables, DF, NDF and CF were 34.01%, 16.06% and 6.95%, respectively. In leaf vegetables, DF, NDF and CF were 46.10%, 23.96% and 9.27%, respectively. The correlationship of root vegetable were Y=2.44+0.73X. r=0.48(P<0.01) between DF and NDF, and Y=23.96+1.55X, r=0.59(P<0.01) between DF and CF. The correlationship of leaf vegetables Were Y=2.45+0.46X, r=0.61(P<0.01) between DF and NDF, and Y=4.26+0.11X, r=0.55(P>0.05) between DF and CF, respectively. DF/CF ratio of 7.36 in root vegetable, DF/CF ratio of 5.15 in leaf vegetables were calculated, respectively.

        흰쥐의 간장 및 혈청 지질농도와 임상생화학적 지표에 미치는 식이섬유 및 식이지방 급원을 달리한 식이 투여의 영향

        본 실험에서는 Sprague-Dawley계 수컷 흰쥐의 간장 및 혈청 지질 농도와 임상생화학적 지표에 미치는 식이지방원 및 식이섬유원을 달리한 식이를 급여한 영향을 검토하였다. 실험 식이군은 5% corn oil+5% cellulose 함유 CO군, 10% corn oil+10% 차전자피 함유 CO+PH군 및 10% lard+10% 차전자피 함유 LA+PH군인 3군으로 나누었으며 실험식이와 물은 6주간 자유급여시켰다. 체중 증가량 및 식이 효율은 CO군에 비해 LA+PH군에서 유의적으로 증가하였고, CO+PH군에서는 유의적인 증가경향을 보였다. 식이 섭취량 및장기 중량은 실험군간에 차이가 없었다. 혈청 총 콜레스테롤 농도는 CO군에 비해 CO+PH군에서 유의적으로 감소하였으나, LA+PH군과는 차이가 없었다. 혈청 중성지방 및 인지질 농도는 CO군에 비해 CO+PH군 및 LA+PH군에서 유의적으로 감소하였다. 간장 콜레스테롤 농도는 LA+PH군에서 유의적으로 감소하였다. 혈청 임상생화학적 지표 중 glutamic pyruvic transaminase 활성은 LA+PH군에서 유의적으로 높았으며, lactate dehydrogenase 활성 및 blood urea nitrogen은 오히려 LA+PH군에서 유의적으로 감소하였다. 다른 혈청 임상생화학적 지표 중 총 단백질, 알부민, 포도당, glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase 및 lactate dehydrogenase 활성은 각 실험군간에 차이가 없었다. 이상의 결과로부터 식이 차전자피에 의한 혈중 지질 농도의 저하효과는 식이지방원 lard 첨가군에 비해 corn oil 첨가군에서 더욱 현저하였다. This study investigated the effects of different types of dietary fats and fibers on the concentrations of serum and liver lipids and biochemical index in male Sprague-Dawley rats for 6 weeks. The experimental groups were divided into three groups; 5% corn oil+5% cellulose (CO group), 10% corn oil+10% psyllium husk (CO+PH group) and 10% lard+10% psyllium husk (LA+PH group). Body weight gain and FER (food efficiency ratio%) decreased significantly in the LA+PH group and decreased slightly in the CO+PH group compared with the CO group. Food intake and tissue weights were not significantly different among the dietary groups. Concentrations of serum total cholesterol decreased significantly in the CO+PH group compared with the CO group, but no significant different in the LA+PH group. Concentrations of serum triglyceride and phospholipid decreased significantly in the CO+PH and the LA+PH groups compared with the CO group. Liver cholesterol concentration was significantly decreased in the LA+PH group compared with the CO and the CO+PH groups. Glutamic pyruvic transaminase activity was significantly increased in the LA+PH group compared with the CO and the CO+PH groups. However, lactate dehydrogenase and blood urea nitrogen was significantly decreased in the LA+PH group compared with the CO and the CO+PH groups. The others biochemical parameters, total protein, albumin, glucose, glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, alkaline phosphatase were not significantly different among the dietary groups. These results showed that the lowering effect of dietary psyllium husk on serum lipid concentrations was more pronounced in the corn oil-feeding group than in the lard-feeding group as dietary fat source.

        맥반석 첨가 식이가 백문조의 혈액 임상화학지수에 미치는 영향

        Effect of Quartz porphyry(QP) on clinical chemical parameters of serum in male white java sparrow by feeding the basal diet(Control group) containing 3.0% QP(QP group) for 14 days was studied. Body weight gain, feed intake, the weight of the gizzard and the heart were not significantly different in the both groups. However, the weights of kidney and liver in the QP group were higher than in the control group. The contents of triglyceride, cholesterol, total protein, glucose, creatinine, blood urea nitrogen, uric acid and albumin, and the activities of glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase(GOT) and glutamic pyruvic transaminase(GPT) in serum were not significantly different in the both groups. The activity of alkaline phosphatase(ALP) in serum was higher in the QP group than in the control group.

        Brassica 쌈샐러드 채소류의 일반성분과 식이섬유소에 관한 연구

        십자화과 쌈샐러드 9종류에 관한 일반성분과 구조탄수화물인 식이섬유소류(DFi, TDF, IDF, SDF, NDF, ADF, ADL, CHO, hemicellulose)를 측정하였다. 건물 기준으로 이들 쌈 샐러드는 단백질과 조지방 함량이 2~3배 높았으며 조회분의 경우 7배 가량 곡류보다 높았다. TDF 함유량에 있어서 비타민이 24.26%로 낮았으나 청경채가 47.33%였다. IDF는 비타민이 17.75%로 낮았으며 뉴그린이 26.81%로 높았으나 SDF는 뉴그린이 3.20%로 낮았고 청경채가 23.45%로 매우 높았다. 이들 십자화과 채소류의 상관관계는 TDF와 SDF간에는 Y=0.93X+22.62(r=0.89, p<0.01), TDF와 ADF간에는 Y=0.97X+11.04(r=0.85, p<0.01), TDF와 ADL간의 Y=1.00X+25.47(r=0.72, p<0.05)로 유의한 상관을 나타내었다. 따라서 십자화과 채소류는 화학적방법에 의한 ADF, ADL분석을 통해 TDF의 추정이 가능함이 확인되었다. This study was conducted to determine the several structural carbohydrate of 9 kinds of brassica vegetables. The samples were dried at 60℃ for 24 hrs and ground to pass a 0.5 ㎜ screen. The crude protein and crude fat contents of brassica vegetables were 2~3 times higher than those of grain as dry matter basis. However, the crude ash content of brassica vegetables was 7 times higher than that of grain. Total dietary fiber (TDF) was ranged from 24.26% (Narinosa) to 47.33% (Chinensis) as dry matter basis. Insoluble dietary fiber (IDF) was ranged from 17.75% (Narinosa) to 26.81% (Toscana) as dry matter basis. Soluble dietary fiber (SDF) was ranged from 3.20% (Toscana) to 23.45% (Narinosa) as dry matter basis. The correlation of brassica vegetables was r=0.30 between TDF and IDF, r=0.89 between TDF and SDF (p<0.01), r=0.25 between TDF and CHO, and r=0.29 between DFi and NDF (p<0.05), respectively.
