적응필터에서는 기준 입력신호와 상관이 없는 원신호의 목표신호 성분에 의해서 적응필터의 계수가 오 조정된다. 본 논문에서는 목표신호가 있는 경우에 대해서 NSA(normalized sign algorithm)의 정상상태 성능과 수렴특성을 NLMS 알고리즘과 비교 분석했다. NLMS 알고리즘의 평균자승오차는 목표신호의 전력에 비례하지만, NSA는 목표신호 전력의 제곱근에 비례한다. 수렴특성은 목표신호가 큰 경우 NSA는 NLMS 알고리즘에 비해서 느리게 적응한다. 본 논문에서는 이론적으로 분석된 정상상태 성능과 수렴특성을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해서 검증한다. Coefficients of the adaptive filter are misadjusted by primary signals which are uncorrelated with reference signals of the adaptive filter. In this paper, the normalized sign algorithm is analyzed and compared with the NLMS algorithm by the steady state performance and the transient characteristics when target signals are included in primary signals. The excess mean square error of the NLMS algorithm is proportional to the power of target signals. That of normalized sign algorithm is proportional to the square root of the target signal power. However, the convergence speed of the normalized sign algorithm is slower than that of NLMS algorithm. In this paper, it is shown that theoretical analysis of the steady state performance and the transient charateristics are well consisted with the results of computer simulation.
Bronze Artifacts from Pocheon Banwol Fortress and the Korean High-tin Bronze Technology

The metallurgical examination of three bronze artifacts from an ancient military fortress found clues revealing the developmental process of a high-tin bronze technology in Korea. Each of them was given a distinctly different treatment, and could chronologically be arranged on the basis of the technical sophistication involved. The most primitive was made exclusively by casting, and the next was given a quench treatment after casting, and the most advanced was hot forged after casting and then quenched. The last was special in that it was excavated near the surface, had thin walls of 0.4mm to 1.1mm, and was made from an unleaded Cu-22 mass % Sn alloy. These traits all demonstrate that the last was made most recently when the high-tin bronze tradition, characterized by the specific alloy composition and the advanced thermo-mechanical treatments, was fully established.
경주 분황사지 출토 청동기에 나타난 기술변천에 관한 연구

Ever since its first appearance in the Korean peninsula, bronze must have been playing an important role in Korean history. Due to the lack of metallurgical work, however, the archaeological study, based primarily on artifact typology, has produced little information on the technical aspects of bronze production in Korea. With this problem in mind and to understand the evolution of Korean bronze, the present study has examined microstructure of bronze artifacts excavated from the Boonhwang temple site in Kyongju. Three artifacts from other sites were also examined for comparison. Important evidence of technical transition was noticed in alloy composition and also in various thermo-mechanical treatments. The Sn content approaching the peritectic point in the Cu-Sn phase diagram and the removal of Pb from alloys were clearly evident with time. This change was coupled with the introduction, subsequent to casting, of special treatments such as quenching and forging. This study is to establish a general framework, though rough, that may be referenced and refined in future studies to the better assessment of Korean bronze technology with respect to its progressive development and its role in history.
지능형CCTV시스템 성능평가를 위한 영상DB와 영상 주석도구 개발

In this paper, an evaluation of intelligent CCTV system is proposed with recording and implementation video and video DB. Videos for evaluation are recorded by dividing far, mid and near zone. Video DB has video recording information, detection area, and ground truth in XML format. A video annotation tool is proposed to make ground truth effectively in this paper. A video annotation tool writes ground truths of videos and includes evaluation comparing system alarms with ground truths. 지능형CCTV시스템 성능평가를 위한 영상취득 및 영상DB 구축 그리고 평가방안을 제시한다. 영상취득은 각 시나리오에 대하여 원거리, 중거리, 근거리 영역을 설정하여 취득하였다. 영상DB에는 영상녹화정보, 검출영역, 실측경보를 XML형식으로 기록한다. 본 논문에서는 영상DB 제작을 위한 효율적인 실측정보 기록을 위한 영상 주석도구를 제안한다. 영상 주석도구는 특정 영상에 대하여 실측정보를 기록하고 지능형CCTV시스템의 출력경보와 비교하여 검출 성능을 평가하는 기능을 포함한다.
