Recently, As a part of urban forestation, the introductions of green roofs into public projects has been actively driven. Supported by this policy, the sizes of domestic green roof‐related markets have been rapidly expanding and many types of root barrier materials developed in Korea or abroad are being commercially distributed. In this study,root barrier tests were conducted over two years with nine types of sheet type waterproof materials that are the most commonly used as root barrier layers in green roof systems. The test conditions prepared considered the climates,natural features and vegetation in Korea and the results and related root barrier performance were verified. From the results of this study, the necessity to improve the joint part of root barrier sheets and forming methods has been identified and a measure to improve domestic root barrier testing methods was proposed.

The purpose of this study is (1)to supplement City ecological problems and (2) to provide ecological school's outdoors planning factors and methods for setting up the educational space of environmental friendship First, the notion and compositive purpose of ecological schools are established, the ecological formal necessity of outdoor of schools is investigated The ecological problems of elementary schools are also understood by the on-the-spot survey The spacial planning directions and essential examples are viewed by extarcting the ecological outdoor compositive plans With the planning creteria and presentation of the essential element technology

The study aims to examine the formative theory of educability by comparative approach on the basis of educational thought ; to evaluate it's significancies and values in relate to a desirable human characteristics which must be expected especially in modern society. Recently the various social forces including scientific development, economic growth and political socialization have expected to carry out effectively their own needs by means of education. in other words it is generally accepted that formal schooling is only the institution to transmit their necessary informations and technological skills from without. In this regard it is very difficult for students to realize and develop their own potentials. accordingly it means a ignorant and negative concern of education to understanding educability of man. that is to say, education have been entirely depended on the human understanding from philosophical theological, and psychological aspects. In conclusion it is the most important problem to systematize the basic concepts of education on the foundation of formative theory of educability from within. Herbart emphasized that pedagogy must be founded on educability(Bildsamkeit).
