        인유 , 조제 분유 및 시유의 총지방질 조성 , 총지방산 조성 및 비타민 E 함량의 비교

        The lipid and fatty acid compositions and vitamin E content were analyzed in 48 human mature milk, 3 infant formulas (modified milk powder) and 8 market milk samples. The total lipid content in modified milk powder was similar those in human milk and market milk when total solids content of modified milk powder was corrected to that of human milk. In comparison with human milk, modified milk powder contained a lower proportion of triglycerides and higher proportions of phospholipids, free fatty acids and cholesterol esters. The ratios of phospholipids/ triglycerides, total cholesterol/ triglycerides and total tocopherol/ total lipids in modified milk powder were significantly higher than those in human milk and market milk. The American recommendation fro linoleic acid (0.7 IU/g) could be satisfied with human milk, modified milk powder and market milk. The proportions of short-and medium-chain even numbered saturates were higher and the proportions of long-chain derivatives of linoleic (ω6 series) and linolenic (ω3 series)acids were lower in modified milk powder and market milk than in human milk. It is concluded that in view of their levels in breast milk, the polyenoic derivatives of linoleic and linolenic acids must be taken into account when assessing infant foods.

        인유 , 조제 분유 및 시유의 인 지방질의 지방산 조성의 비교

        Effects of garlic on hypocholesterolemia, anticoagulation and hypoglycemia were studied in the present experiments using male rats. The results were summarized as follows. 1. The supplementation of 2~4% garlic to 2% cholesterol diets did not affect food intake and weight gain in male rats. 2. Rat`s groups fed the diets supplemented with 2~3% garlic (C,D,E,F) to 2% cholesterol diet (B) decreased serum total cholesterol levels by 16~32%, triglyceride levels by 18.6~26.8% and β/α-lipoportein rations by 42~58%, but increased HDL-cholesterol levels by 29~65% as compared to B group, and so the author assumes that garlic supplementation exerts hypocholesterolemic effect on cholesterol-fed rats because of the increase of HDL and HDL-cholesterol levels. 3. Rat`s groups fed the diets supplemented with 2~4% garlic (C,D,E,F) to 2% cholesterol plus 0.25% bile salt diet (B) increased whole blood coagulation times, prothrombin times and fibrinolytic activities, but decreased plasma fibrinogen levels as compared to B group, and so the author assumes that garlic supplementation exerts anticoagulative effect because of the inhibition of fibrinogen synthesis in male rat`s liver. 4. Rat`s groups fed the diets supplemented with 2~4% garlic (B,C,D,E) to standard diet (A) decreased serum glucose levels by 1~24%, but increased serum insulin concentrations by 0.5~3.0 times as compared to A group, and so the author assumes the garlic supplementation exerts hypoglycemic effect because of the increase of serum insulin levels by stimulating pancreatic secretion of insulin from β-cells in the islets of Langerhans.

        수유기간의 경과에 따른 인유 지방질 조성의 변화

        초유 및 성숙유의 지방질 조성을 TLC-FID 방법으로 분석, 정량하였던 바 분리된 지방질 성분 중 triglyceride 수준이 초유에서보다 성숙유에서 유의하게 높았으며, 기타의 지방질 성분들은 초유 및 성숙유간에 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. Lipid composition of human milk samples (ten colostrum and 10 mature) was analyzed by quantitative thin-layer chromatography with flame ionization detector. Six kinds of lipid components existed in human milk. Among them, triglyceride which was most abundant lipid component showed significantly lower levels in colostrum than in mature milk. Other lipid components have no significant differences between colostrum and mature milk.

        한국산 잣기름이 콜레스테롤 첨가식이로 사육한 토끼의 혈장 총지방산 조정에 미치는 영향

        The present study was carried out in atheroscleorotic New Zealend white(NZW) rabbits. to evaluate the effect of dietary supplementation with Korean pinenut oil. on plasma total fatty acid composition. In study I. NZW rabbits were fed 10 weeks on a commercial chow diet supplemented with 5% of energy as fats(soybean oil or pinenut oil) or 10% of energy as fats(soybean oil or pinenut oil) with the addition of 1% cholesterol to the diet. Nineteen fatty acids ranged from myristic acid(14 : 0) to cervonic acid (22 : 6 w 3) were identified in all the samples. The c5. c9. c12~18 : 3 acid was not reported in the fatty acid methyl ester profiles of each group because it was included in the linoleic acid peak. The major constitutent fatty acids in the chow diet group because it was included in the linoleic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid and α-linolenci acid. In the cholesterol group. oleic acid. linoleic acid and plmitic acid were the major fatty acids. In plasma of cholesterol fed animals the levels of 16 : 1 ω 7 and 18 : 1 ω 9 were increased. Linoleic acid was the major fatty acid in soybean oil/cholesterol and pinenut oil/cholesterol groups. Plasma linoleic acid levels were significantly increased from 4 to 6% by the supplementation of 5% soybean or 5% pinenut oil in the cholesterol diet for 5 weeks. compared to cholesterol group. Plasma 16 : 1 ω 7 levels in animals fed with 5 or 10% pinenut oils were significantly lower than in those fed cholesterol for 5 weeks. After 10 weeks on the soybean oil and pinenut oil diet there were no significant differences in the fatty acid composition. In study Ⅱ, the fatty acid composition was not affected by the types or levels of oils supplemented for 5 weeks. After 10 weeks on the oil diets 16 : 1 w 7 and 18 : 1 w 9 were decreased in 10% soybean in oil/cholesterol and 10% pinenut oil/cholesterol groups compared to cholesterol group.

        한국 성인 남자 및 여자의 혈청 유리 아미노산의 정상치

        20-39세 사이의 성인 남자 34명과 여자 35명에 대하여 혈청 유리 아미노산의 정상치를 구하였다. 성인 남녀 다 같이 threonine(일부 glutamine이 포함 alanine, lysine이 전체 아미노산 중에서 약 40%를 차지하고 있었으며, 총필수 아미노산의 함량은 총비필수 아미노산의 함량보다 유의하게 낮았다. 혈청 아미노산 조성에서 뚜렷한 성별의 차이가 나타났는데 성인 남자에서는 alanine, cystine, valine, isoleucine, leucine, tyrosine, tryptophan, threonine, methionine, proline 등이, 여자에서는 lysine, histidine이 각각 유의하게 높은 수준을 보였다. 총필수 아미노산의 함량 그리고 총비필수 아미노산 및 총아미노산에 대한 총필수 아미노산의 몰비도 성인 남자가 유의성 있는 높은 수준을 나타내었다. 아울러 총필수 아미노산에 대한 각 필수 아미노산의 몰비를 구하여 성별로 비교하였다.) Mean values for the fasting serum levels of the individual amino acids are given for 34 adult males and 35 adult females, ranging in age from 20 to 39 years. Threonine plus glutamine, alanine and lysine accounted for about 40% of total amino acids, and total essential amino acids was significantly lower han total nonessential amino acids. There were highly significant differences between men and women in the mean serum amino acid levels. Men had significantly higher levels than women for most of the amino acids except lysine and histidine. Total essential amino acids, and the molar ratios of total essential to total nonessential amino acids and total amino acids showed significantly higher levels in men than in women. The molar ratios of each essential amino acid to total essential amino acids were also examined.

        한국산 잣 지방질의 지방산 조성

        한국산 잣나무(Pinus Koraienisis Sieb. et Zucc.)의 종자 즉 잣에는 수분이 3.6%, 정제한 상태의 총지방질이 70.4%, 회분이 2.5% 함유되어 있었으며, 잣 수확년도에 따른 일반성분 차이는 없었다. 잣 총지방질의 지방산에는 14:0에서 22:0까지 21종류가 있음이 확인되었고, 이 중에서 5-olefin계 지방산으로 18:3(5,9,12), 20:2(5,11), 20:3(5,11,14) 등 3종류가 검출되었다. 지방산 조성에서도 잣 수확년도에 따른 차이는 없었으며, 지방산 중 47.9%의 18:2ω6, 28.4%의 18:1ω9, 11.1%의 18:3(5,9,12) 등 3종의 지방산이 주요 지방신이었다. The seeds of Pinus Koraiensis were studied for their moisture, total lipids and ash contents and fatty acid composition. The seeds contained ca. 3.6% moisture, 70.4% purified total lipids and 2.5% ash. The proximate composition of the seeds was not influenced by the sampling years (1984 and 1985). Twenty-one fatty acids ranged from myristic to arachidic acids were identified in the seed lipids. The seed lipids contained linoleic acid (47.9%). oleic acid (28.4%) and 5, 9, 12-18:3(11.1%) as major fatty acids and 5,9,12-18:3, 5,11-20:2 and 5,11,14-20:3 as 5-olefinic nonmethylene-interrupted polyenoic acids. The sampling years also had no effect on the fatty acid composition of the seed lipids.

        人乳 및 牛乳의 지방산 조성에 관하여

        모유 영양에 관한 기초 연구의 일환으로 초유 및 성숙유의 총 지방질 함량을 측정함과 아울러 그 지방산 조성을 gas liquid chromatography 로 분석하였으며, 비교로 시유의 지방산 조성도 분석하였다.<br/> 사람의 초유의 총 지방질 함량은 성숙유의 그것에 비하여 유의하게 낮은 값을 나타내었으며, 인유 지방산 중 10 :0, 12 : 0, 14 : 0 등의 지방산은 수유 기간이 경과(초유에서 성숙유로)함에 따라 유의하게 증가하였다. 20 : 2, 20 : 4, 22 : 5 등의 extra-long chain 고도불포화 지방산은 성숙유에서보다 초유에서 유의하게 높았다. 초유 및 성숙유에서 가장 많은 필수 지방산은 18 : 2였으며, 초유와 성숙유 간에 유의차는 없었고 10여년전 보고치보다 높았다. 시유의 지방산 조성을 인유(성숙유)의 그것과 비교하여 본 바 단쇄, 중쇄, 장쇄 지방산들이 유의하게 높은 경향이었고, 장쇄 불포화 지방산들은 유의하게 낮은 경향이었다. The fatty acid composition of human milk was determined in 20 milk samples (ten colostrum and 10 mature) obtained at different stages of lactation. Human colostrum contained a lower percentage of total lipids than mature milk. In comparison with mature milk, human colostrum was characterized by a lower percentage of saturated fatty acids, a higher percentage of monounsaturated fatty acids and a higher percentage of extra-long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acid metabolites of both linoleic acid (ω 6 series) and linolenic acid (ω 3 series). The linoleic acid levels reported here are considerably higher than those reported previously in Korea. This shift has paralleled an increase in the use of vegetable oils in Korean diet. The human mature milk differed from marketing cow's milk in fatty acid composition, as it had a lower content of short-, medium-and long-chain saturated fatty acids and a higher content of long-chain monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids.
