Through this study conclusion that appear is as following; (a). All actions of Taekwondo may be possible with specialization of all technology actions of Taekwondo through poomsae practice though is included in poomsae. (b). Taekwondo standardization done martial arts be now continuously development of new technology accomplish. Therefore, though inflection of special procurements actions that action more than two is mixed becomes more much, development of more various and new Tackwondo technology may be available. (c). Present Taegeukpoomsad change of arrangement of action from Chapter 1 to Chapter 8 It only difference of each poomsae clear characteristic appear. Therefore, philosophy of poomsae escapes in speculative dead face and to the philosophy department though does appear within poomsae practice, clear difference may have to appear in each poomsae action composition. (d). Because degree of difficulty of action that appear in Taegeuk shape is no alternative difference from Chapter 1 to Chapter 8. gradual technology learning is not consisting. (e). 태권도 수련복의 변천과정에 관한 고찰

The purpose of this inquiry is to understand the changing process of Tae-Kwon Do uniform by After thorough examination, they could be summarized as below. Tae-Kwon Do training uniforms are divided into two different types. One is a spread extended type which originally came form Japan and the other is an Korean traditional martial arts uniform. As the development of Tae-Kwon Do occurred, the uniform changed into a basic clothing form from the three countries period which included a black collar and a half black and red collar for grade holders. The differences in the length of sleeves and pants come from which material it is made of and a statement regulated by the Korea Tae-Kwon Do Federation. The uniform currently using is not the Korean traditional type which has to be worn over the head. This has a major disadvantage when putting it on and taking it off, it ruins the hair especially after sweating a lot through training. As a result, the uniform we are currently wearing has a slight problem in practicality and the historical background but the uniform itself is rogarded more as a sport uniform rather than a training uniform.

The object of this this research shall be providing the basic data that TAE-KWON-DO can be contributed in an infant education as our nationalsport by studying how T.K.D training contributes to the behavoiral development of infants. This survey researches into the inspection of behavioral development in infants who are training T.K.D at pre - school. (Emotional State, Sentimental State, Diligence, Responsibility, Cooperation, Independence, Lew- Abiding, Leadership) 1.The motivation that Parents send thief children to the gymnasium of T.K.D is to let them have courage and confidence and to improve on power of their attention, (74.79%) 2.Parents' response on the change of the behavioral development of their children after training T.K.D is as follows. 한국 여성스포츠 활성화를 위한 연구

Historically women have been discriminated not only in sports but also in another fields of social life according to the social cultural backgrounds and customes. This sex discrimination is due to the lack of the opportunity to participate sports, the ideological prejudice of male diversionism and the systematic inequality uttered in the nomological, institutional, environmental aspects of society. And the social conception on male adventage and female dependence enforces the present discrimination in the women sports. Theoletically, discussion on women sports has been focused on the dogma that man governs woman in the sense of sex inequility in sports, limitation of female opportunity in sports, inequility of conservative system and the relative deprival of employment opportunity from the point of liberal, marxist, radical, socialist view. The sex discrimination is due to the social, cultural circumstance of a specific society and prejudicial cultural tradition. The cultural tradition form the idea that woman can play the role only through the family and companion because of her biological and depentent character and enforce such a sex role and social training. The social-role prejudice which began in the family and companion would be enforced and magnified through the discrimitive management of the curriculum and phisical education program at school. The sex discrimination has such a tendency of aggravation and perpetuity because of male-prejudicial news and scarcity of role-model, which have been discussed in many researches. But woman's sports were advanced quite much in accordance with feminism movements and the change of social/cultural definition on woman. In spite of all of these, there still appears to be some prejudice in the psyological, social-psychological, institutional realms. To sum up the factors which prevent woman's sports activate, Firstly, negative cognition of common people on woman's sports. Secondly, the prejudice that women are not adquite for sports activity. Thirdly, women themselves have the prejudice that sports activity makes their body manly. And to sum up the important theoletical factors concerned with the woman's sports activation, Firstly, woman has psychologically the stronger emotional intentionality than man. Secondly, woman has the weaker motivation for sports psychologically, which is due to her parents' indifference and the incorrect belief of 'womanlikehood' or 'out to be womanlike' and so on. Thirdly, because woman's participating the sports activity is influenced by intermediate group like family, the opportunity-situation became the important variable. Some conclusion for activation of Women's Sports Activation acquired in the study is as shown in the followings. Firstly, We must change the ineffective sports activities in the whole society, including the system, which places the importance in the examination at the existing school, and the physical education program which lays stress on the sudents to comply with the characteristics and interests of women in the scope of life-time sports, and the education on the leader who controls these programs effectively is urgent. Secondly,Mass Media must be interested in the sports, physical education activities of women, and show the positiveness on the program related to the women's own improvement and culture and on the public-information related to the concrete practical method.

The Korean art of empty-handed self-defense, Taekwondo has too many problems to be improved, in spite of its position and authority. The improvement plans obtained from many studies are as follows: First, the age range of the trainees must be expanded to all ages. One of the biggest problems that Taekwondo of Korea has is that the age range of trainees are confined only to children. Therefore. the age range should expand to adult age, that is, Taekwondo training of Korea had better be conducted toward adults, at the same time, adults must give more attention to Taekwondo. For this purpose, the Taekwondo training that ha been carried out in the general sense until now should be established in the theoretical aspect; the Taekwondo training should include the division of KyungKi Taekwondo as well as the division of the traditional Taekwondo that emphasizes the martial art's side(precepts of a warrior). Moreover. all concerned should make efforts so as that the Taekwondo programs could be developed to satisfy adults, too. Second, the Taekwondo games should be drawn out to be popularized as mass sports in order that the general public(spectators) can see the games. And for the purpose of making the general public be interested in the Taekwondo games, an environments or public conditions in which the publicity activities can not only be conducted more easily, but also can spectators inspect the games publicly should be formed. Furthermore, during people's inspection games, various entertainment events must be hold, lest spectators get bored. And for all the above purposes. Taekwondo-related organizations should invest more amount of material than the past, and broadcasting stations should give aid and make efforts, in order that ordinary people could see Taekwondo games through the broadcasting media more actively and coorperatively than ever. Thirdly, all the concerned should invest more amount of material to the buildings of the World Taekwondo Federation(WTF), of which accommodations are not appropriate at all, at present. For example, one of the possible strategies is that the buildings might become commercial product for sightseeing, and all concerned could plan for encouragement of the sightseeing events, with a long-term view. Also, the screening system as well as the examination procedures should be modified or supplemented in order to prevent excessively issuing the qualification specifications, and the undesirable examinations that incline toward formality too much. Fourthly, the traditional environments of Taekwondo training center must be maintained. The present training centers follow the current trends that pursue modernized interior design and high quality facilities. However ,only when the Taekwondo training centers keep the traditional things, the trainees' recognition degrees toward Taekwondo games will surely rise. Fifthly, the existing training centers are prohibited from signing in insurance because of insurance companies' too much loss, at present, by insurance companies. Therefore, appropriate countermeasures and systematic supplementation should be urgently taken, so as that both trainees and directors can be satisfied.

무도(태권도)의 세계화과정에 따른 문화, 외교적 발전 방향 연구

The result of Takwondo which rose rapidly as a major method for the Korean cultural diplomacy in accordance with establishing a worldwide uniquely in a style of the Korean traditional culture have been not received a correct estimate even by government as well as academic circles and the people. The conclusion are shown below as a result of survey upon the Korean foreign relations and the role of cultural diplomacy of Teakwondo as mentioned above Firstly, the Teakwondo of Korea adventured on foreign countries in earnest from 1960 and then it has been globalized to be centered the game since 1970s in its progress of overseas expansion and the spread into the foreign. And Teakwondo received much recognition as the national sports holding the frequent international meetings through establishment of the world federation as well as the interior federation. The role of Teakwondo had a greatly favorable influence upon a diplomatic method of politic, cultural and economical side. Secondly, The influence upon the relations between Korea and the foreign countries was patriotism and love to make a chance capable of publish into the world for a nation culture which was one of major elements which the imperialism of western culture was possible. Hereby, With the instructors abroad as the central figure Teakwondo intended to do non-organizational infiltration like a guerrilla of cultural diplomacy guiding the various leadership of political, cultural and social circle. And A lot of countries in the world are abroad as the central figure Teakwondo intended to do non-organizational infiltration like a guerrilla of cultural diplomacy guiding the various leadership of political, cultural and social circle. And A lot of countries in the world are training Teakwondo, Also when it enter to permanent event to be adopted Teakwondo into the Olimpic events. It has an effect capable of recognition of Korea into the world together with establishing the Korean political, cultural and diplomatic authority to center on Teakwondo by the worldwide as well as the nonaligned nations. And I think that it is not simple sports but has influence on a cultural diplomacy between countries and it needs continuous interesting and love in future. Accordingly, this study has a signification to survey the role between the nonaligned nations and the progress of overseas expansion for the Korean foreign relations and cultural diplomatic role of Teakwondo.

중학생의 태권도에 대한 인식과 참여욕구에 관한 연구

This study is attempted to survey the recognition of and desire for participation in Taegwondo for 920 students of 3 middle schools located in Myeonmok-dong of Seoul city as of 2003, to examine how they, our juveniles, recognize our proud Taegwondo and what they have desire for participation in Taegwondo, and to ultimately provide fundamental data for efficient Taegwondo education. Subjects of this study were selected randomly in 3 middle schools located in Myeonmokdong of Seoul City currently and totally 920 students from 1st year, 2nd year, and 3rd year students. Questionnaires were prepared on the basis of self-administration and, as a result of questionnaire, 10 questionnaires were excluded under the decision that they were not reliable and 910 valid samples were gained. For data analysis, SPSS 10.0 statistic program was applied and reliability analysis, frequency analysis, ANOVA, and pearson correlation were used as statistic analysis methods. Findings of this study from data analysis are as follows. First, it was shown that the recognition of middle school students for Taegwondo was high as a whole and, especially, the recognition of position and general recognition were significantly high. But, it was shown that they did not know well the cognitive area. Second, it was found that their desire for participation in Taegwondo was negative wholly while they showed high desire for participation with respect to psychomotor area and definitive area. Third, it was revealed that the higher their recognition of Taegwondo was, the higher their desire for participation in Taegwondo was.
