19세기 중후기는 동아시아 3국 즉 중국, 일본, 조선이 보수적인 사회에서 근대로 전환하는 관건적인 시기였다. 의식형태 영역의 신(新), 구(舊) 교체과정 중에서 양계초는 국제발전 패턴에 관심을 갖는 정론가(政論家)로서 조선의 국정에 대하여 관심을 갖고 있었으며 1896년부터 1911년까지 조선에 관한 문장들을 여러 편 발표하였다. 본 논문에서는 조선에 관련된 양계초의 논저(論著)들을 기초로, 연대별로 나누어 양계초의 근대조선에 대한 인식의 표면적인 현상으로부터 본질로 들어가는 변화과정 및 조선 문제 관심의 본질에 대하여 검토하려 한다. Since the mid-19th century,China,Japan and Korea have been in a critical period of transition from tradition to modern. In the ideological sphere,it showed transition from the old to the new situation.As a famous political critic,Liang Qichao had always focused on international development, especially had paid attention on the situation of Korea. From 1896 to 1911, he published many articles about Korea. On the basis of deeply reading Liang Qichao’s articles,this paper discuss the evolution of Liang Qichao’s understanding of Modern Korea and the essence of his view of Korea.

This paper compares the Chinese Constitutional Reform and Modernization, the Meiji Reformation of Japan and the Korean Kapshin Incident, in order to compare the social transformations of the three countries on historical backgrounds, the course and the results, during the social transformations of the East Asian countries (China, Korea, Japan) in modern times. At the same time, it expounds the historical and cultural backgrounds and reasons of the success and failure of the transformations of the three countries and further points out the historical necessity of the respective success and failure of the transformations of society.

최근 한중 양국의 정치관계는 안정된 양상을 보이고 있으며 경제와 사회문화 교류도 활발히 진행되는 추세이지만 여전히 역사적 갈등과 영토를 둘러싼 분쟁, 그리고 의식형태의 차이, 체제간 대립 등 해결해야 할 많은 문제들이 남아 있다. 한중 양국의 민간에서의 쟁점과 의식형태의 차이는 한국 역사 교과서에도 반영되고 있다. 한국 역사 교과서의 중국 역사에 대한 서술을 보면, 찬란했던 고대 중국을 인정하면서 자국의 문명 기원을 되돌아보고 있다. 또한 ‘華夷’체제 하의 중국에 대한 한국인들의 인식은 복잡한데, 조공체제하에서의 중국의 기타 국가들에 대한 안전보호제공을 승인하는 반면 ‘華夷’체제는 불평등한 질서의 안배라고 인식하는 경향도 있다. 한국 역사 교과서는 서술과 사진, 지도, 연표 그리고 사료 등을 통하여 정치, 경제, 외교 등여러 방면으로 당대의 중국을 소개하고 있다.중국 역사에 대한 서술의 특징을 보면 세계사를 배경으로, 더 넓은 시야로 중국사를 서술하였 으며 중국 역사 사건들과 인물들에 대해 다각적으로 살펴보고 있다. 지리적인 요인이 인류 역사 발전에 끼치는 영향 역시 중시한다. 한국 역사 교과서에 존재하는 문제를 살펴보면 민족, 국가와 강역 문제, 중국 현대사에 대한 서술, 유네스코 세계문화유산 등록 문제 등에 여전히 중국과 이데올로기의 차이, 역사 문화적 인식의 불일치 등 마찰과 갈등이 존재한다. 본 논문은 한국 역사 교과서에 수록 정리된 중국 역사의 내용을 참고로 한국 역사 교과서에 서의 중국 역사에 대한 서술, 중국 역사에 대한 서술의 특징, 한국 역사 교과서에 존재하는 문제 등 세 가지 점들을 검토하면서 중국에 대한 한국사회의 인식과 한국인들의 중국관을 통찰함과 동시에 양국의 역사적, 문화적 충돌에 대한 대안과 해결책도 찾을 수 있기를 기대해 본다. In recent years, the political relations between China and South Korea have been characterized by stable situation and relatively active economic and social cultural exchanges. However, there are still problems that need to be solved, such as historical disputes, territorial disputes, ideological differences and regime opposition. The disputes and ideological differences among the people in China and South Korea are also reflected in Korean history textbooks. The historical narration of China enables foreign youths to understand Chinese history and Chinese society. Therefore, it is necessary for China to make researches on Korean history textbooks. Through people-to-people exchanges, diplomacy and other channels between China and South Korea, a correct image of China can be established and the people-to-people exchanges between China and South Korea can be promoted. Besides, through the researches on Korean history textbooks, we can look back upon Chinese history. This paper explores the narration of Chinese history in Korean textbooks, its characteristics as well as its problems according to the narrations. It further studies the understanding of China in Korean society and Koreans’ views of China. At the same time, it tries to find out the measures and solutions to the historical and cultural conflicts between the two countries.
