It is a significant fact that we know the various effects of teeth extraction under general anesthesia in practical dentistry. The dental patients have the various physiological reactions in order to adjustment to be obtained stress due to dental managements. The author had studied the effects of teeth extraction under general anesthesia, such as items, changing the body weight, body temperature, erythrocytes number, leukocytes number and eosinophils number in pre-and postoperation period. Material and Method The experimental materials being used in this studies were 20 white male rabbits having body weight ranging 1.28 to 1.63kg. and 3 months aged. The 20 experimental rabbits were divided into 4 groups as follows. Group I . Control group, 5 rabbits had being extracted their upper and lower left teeth. Group I . Control group, 5 rabbits had being extracted their lower left teeth. Group J6. Experimental group, 5 rabbits had being extracted their upper and lower left teeth under general anesthesia with 25% Urethane solution. Group N. Experimental group, 5 rabbits had being extracted their lower left teeth under general anesthesia with 25% Urethane solution. In each control and experimental groups, the body weight, body temperature, erythrocytes, leukocytes, and eosinophils in preoperation, 2 weeks before and 1 week before, and in postoperation, 60 minutes, 3 hours, 5 hours, 1st day, 2nd day, 3rd day, 4th day, 5th day and 6th day after were measured. Summary and Conclusion The following obtained results were drawn, 1. The body weights in both groups were increased remarkably for preoperation, two weeks before, but not increased at all for postoperation, one week after. 2. The body temperatures in both groups were commonly 39.2˚C-39.9˚C, but the postoperative fever was O begun at 60 minutes to 1st day after, and recovered almost normally on 6th day after. 3. Erythrocytes number in both groups have commonly 5.568-5.862 million/cu. mm. in blood, but erythrocytes number were decreased rapidly in postoperation, until one week after. 4. Leukocytes number in both groups have commonly 6,200-9,800/cu. mm. in blood, but leukocytes number were increased rapidly from 5 hours to, "2 days after operation. 5. Eosinophils number in both groups have commonly 475.2-503.8/cu. mm. in blood, but eosinophils number were dropped down rapidly from 5 hours to 1 day after operation.
An Empirical Model for Backscattering Coefficients of Vegetation Fields at 5.4 GHz

A new, simple empirical model for microwave backscattering from vegetation fields at 5.4 GHz is proposed in this paper. First, a modified radiative transfer model (RTM) is used to generate a database of multi-polarized backscattering coefficients of various vegetation fields at 5.4 GHz with wide ranges of vegetation biomasses and soil moistures. Second, we propose a functional form of an empirical model that is a simplified water cloud model (WCM) after closely examining the behaviors of the well-known WCM based on an extensive database that includes the modified RTM outputs, scatterometer measurements, SAR datasets, and in situ measured ground-truth data for various vegetation fields. Finally, the unknown constant parameters of the empirical model are determined for each soil moisture condition based on the extensive database. The new empirical model is verified with the database itself, and also with independent Sentinel-1 synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data and in situ measured ground-truth data.

UHF 대역 수동형 RFID 안테나는 리더와 태그 안테나로 구성되며 전체 RFID 시스템 효율과 인식거리는 리더와 태그 안테나의 반사손실, 효율, 방사이득, 태그 칩의 손실 등에 의해서 큰 영향을 받기 때문에 성능 좋은 안테나가 피료하다. 본 논문에서는 RFID 통신 시스템에서 리더와 태그 안테나가 가져야 할 특성을 먼저 수식적으로 접근하였고, 이러한 특성들을 효과적으로 얻을수 있는 새로운 안테나 구조를 제시하였다. 설계한 리더 안테나는 단(layer)의 수와 모양 및 pinch angle의 변화에 의해서 안테나 특성이 결정되는 multi-layered polygonal helix 형태를 가진다. 태그 안테나로는 inductive coupling 급전을 이용한 나선(spiral)형 구조의 초소현 안테나와 루프와 다이폴 안테나의 결합을 이용한 무지향(isotropic) 인식영역 안테나를 설계하였다. 설계한 RFID 안테나들은 모두 마이크로 스트립 선로처럼 평면 인쇄가 가능하며, 각각 하드보드지(hard board: έ=2.3, tanδ=0.022)와 PET(Polyethylene: έ=3.9, tanδ-=0.003)를 유전체로 사용했기 때문에 저가로 대량생산이 가능하다. 안테나 설계 변수의 최적화를 위해서 Pareto 유전자 알고리즘(Pareto Gentle Algorithm)을 적용하였으며, 최적화된 리더와 태그 안테나 중 특성이 좋은 표본 안테나르 제작하여 시뮬레이션 값과 비교 후 그 성능을 검증하였다.
Isolation 특성이 좋은 Orthogonal Mode Transducer 설계와 제작

이 논문에서는 Z-밴드용 간단한 구조의 OMT (orthogonal mode transducer)가 소개되다. 이 OMT는 몇 개의 가는 유도 봉을 이용하여 한 편파를 주어진 방향으로 유도하고. 또한 다른 직각 편파를 유도 봉을 이용하여 다른 방향으로 유도하도록 설계되었다. 이 OMT는 유도 봉들이 있는 T자 형태의 도파관 부분과 두 도파관 연결부분으로 구성되어 있고, 한 안테나와 두 개의 어댑터들과 연결되도록 세 플랜지를 갖고 있다. 유도 봉의 최적개수와 최적 위치는 CAD인 HFSS를 이용하여 수치적으로 얻었다. 제작된 OMT에서 두 폄파간의 isolation은 9.5GHz와 10.5GHz 주파수 밴드에서 42.8dB보다 높았으며, 반사계수는 -17.5dB보다 낮았다. 이 OMT는 polarimetric scatterometer 시스템에 사용되는 polarimetric 안테나에 사용되어질 수 있다. A simple orthogonal mode transducer(OMT) for X-band has been proposed in this paper. This OMT is designed such that a polarized wave can be guided in a direction using several thin guiding posts, and the other orthogonally polarized wave can be guided in the other direction using other thin guiding posts. The OMT consists of a T-shaped waveguide section with guiding posts, two tapering waveguide arms, and has three flanges for connection with two adapters and an antenna. The optimum numbers and the optimum positions of the guiding posts were obtained numerically using the HFSS CAD tool. The isolation between two polarizations in a manufactured OMT is higher than 42.8 dB and the reflection from the OMT is lower than -17.5 dB at the frequency band of 9.5 GHz<f< 10.5 GHz. The OMT can be used for a polarimetric antenna set, which can be used in a polarimetric scatterometer system.
